I think that Kittens are pure adorableness.
But cats are unfiltered dicks.
How can you say that? Through my cat does know how to open doors. It got annoying enough I swapped out all the handles with knobs. Take that little kitty your paws are no match for pure roundness of those door knobs. He also jumped on my face at night once, and sometimes he attacks my legs when I walk through the room...

I think you might be right, but I'm still a little attached to the guy. All 16 lbs of muscle cat he is.

Well, I personally love cats. Spite getting bit, clawed, and even peed on before hand with cats around.. I just admire their company. Here is proof of me petting a cat: (Was doing volunteery Community Service at the Animal Shelter)

When you give them enough time to bond with you, or get to know you then they shall come to you with a passion, wanting you to give them attention. I would know because I have my own Cat who even knows how to climb up ladders to see me Haha.
That must be some intense petting, there is a motion blur and everything.

As a person who has raised quite a few cats since they were kittens I say both. They are adorable because of how curious they can be and how playful too. But pure evil when they get too curious. For example, that essay you've been writing might look unappealing to you, but to a kitten it can be fun. The number of homework assignments I've lost to my kittens has no end.

Kittens are cute, and if you treat them nice they'll follow you everywhere for the rest of their lives.

A surprisingly evil looking mid-yawn.

She just had to see what was in that 2inch gap under the draw.

They have their moments though... The other cat, a black & white one, likes to attack visitors and attach itself to their legs. Once, as a kitten, it decided to climb up my back, sinking its claws into my skin all the way up.

I'd have to say all of the above, my girlfriend just got a new kitten and it is damn cute, and very evil... It destroyed her computer screen...

They're evilly adorable. So cute they could rule the world...but they wouldn't. Ruling the world requires effort, which is just beyond what cats are interested in giving.

Kittens are pure evil, my grandfather's friend was a cat, he moved to Germany and became an SS Officer.

Which one was referred to in your post? The dusty one, or the tabby?

They are both :3

I love cats and think they're adorable, but they are quite evil sometimes. Or at least naughty. My cat knows me and he knows exactly what he has to do to control me. And he always wins. Who could resist him?

This is the face that says "I won yet again, puny human!". And yes, I have pink pyjamas.

Yeah, all that "evil" and "selfish" stuff? Those are just human qualities we are projecting on animals that are solitary predators, and thus lack the pack mentality and social instincts that dogs have.

No one who can't view animals objectively as animals, nothing more, nothing less, should be allowed to keep a pet.

Aww... Look at those sweet faces!

Our last three kittens (spread out over 10 years) were rescue kittens and they were LOTS of work: feeding them with a bottle, giving them meds, cleaning them and all the other "stuff" you have to do for them. We still have two of them (the third died of kidney failure when he was 9). Our third cat is also a rescue, but as an adult. There was a fire in a local animal shelter and we decided to foster one of the cats and after we got him all healthy again I didn't want to give him up.

I enjoy the adult cat more than the kittens because, honestly, he was less work, and he is also much less demanding than the kittens who are now cats.

And I don't think cats are pure evil - they are too easily distracted. A sock toy filled with catnip or a peacock feather or a laser pointer will instantly distract them so their plots never get past the planning stage.

We have two. They are cute 99% of the time. The other 1% of the time they are knocking over glasses of water or something. So at the same time, they are evil.

Long story short, I don't like Cats and Cats don't like me. I'll take a good faithful dog over a lazy housecat any day of the week.

braking news!!!
ok not for most people but maybe for some of you, animals like humans have personalities, each of them think and act differently depending who they are, and just like us cats can be good or evil!

for instance I have 3 cats which are very different

Maverick a large male maincoon is a very down to earth cat he is relaxed most of the time. he is polite and lets the other cats eat before he eats, is not very territorial, wakes up people when the alarm clock gets unplugged or what not, and only plays with his toys late at night when no one can see him and if he see us watching him he stops and pretends that he was not playing with it. He is also overly friendly. I swear he could make friends with a psychopath with a bloody chainsaw

another of my cats is poptart. (my little sister came up with the name when she was 7) she is the beauty queen who keeps her coat in better shape then some of those cats in pet shows, she is also the only one of are cats that really hunts and catches things. she likes resting on my mothers shoulders like a parrot, she likes croissant rolls, squash, butter, and beef jerky, She LOVES beef jerky. while she seems like the commin scardy cat she is the only one that will standup to a dog.

and muffin, she is a brat, but a lovable brat see will do every thing in her power to get what she want wether its love or food...mostly food.
she is also the only cat i know that not only knows how to operate a t.v. but likes to watch it as well. she doesn't seem to have a preference of a shows or channels though
but i have seen and heard of many cats there are none that are exactly the same just like us.
