English. Or, more accurately, accentless English.

I consider my English to be pretty good considering it's not my native language, but my (Dutch) accent is absolutely horrible. Luckily accents don't apply to written language. :p

I already speak plenty of languages, and have no real desire to learn more of them. I just wish that I was better at the ones I already know.

Also, lol at the animu kids wanting to learn Japanese.
Je moet er vooral gevoel voor hebben. De Engelse 'r' word voorin de mond gesproken, niet achterin zoals wij dat doen. Blijven oefenen!

Ahem, sorry for that, people. Translation:

"You gotta have a feel for it. The English 'r' is spoken in the front part of the mouth, not in the back as we do. Keep trying!"

And yes, lol to the "Anime-loving-wishing-to-speak-Japanese"-guys.

Japanese. I have too many friends over there that all speak fluent English, I feel almost rude not being able to speak their language.

just learning the alphabets are troublesome.
What, hiragana and katakana are nothing! Kanji, on the other hand, is a *****.
My friend was telling me the exact same thing, I guess it's a good thing kanji doesn't come up for me until module 2, which I plan to take next year.

French, for the awesomeness of it. That or earn the heavy accent. But i have the most pronounced RP accent so that will never happen.

900th post. 900 paragraphs no one reads. Hooray.
[small]Saying that, message me if you read this - it'll be kinda interesting if anyone reads the 6th page.[/small]
I did! Your life is worth it.

Vietnamese so I know what my mother in law was saying when she doesn't want me to know what she's saying, as well as Greek simply because I fell in love with their history and culture and my obsessive nature demands it.
In Greek I only know food related words (from learning to cook the food, which is oddly what introduced me to the culture itself) and well as the word please (being an inept linguist is usually more acceptable when you're at least trying to be polite)
With Vietnamese I know many, many swear words that my husband taught me, as well as pronunciation of the diphthongs and north/south dialects and such but not very many useful words unless I want to start a fight...

Jesus, how long have you been learning to speak idiot? :O That's pretty good.
Hmm... both rude AND uncalled for?! I like it. Keep up the good work. And on a side note, I've been speaking fluent idiot for about 6 years now. :D

German, so I can go visit my mum's half of the family in Germany and speak proper to them. Plus, just... it's silly!

Seriously, how is german silly? I'm not offended or anything I just really want to know the reason. :)

[sub]The emoticon above is used in full understanding of the emoticon disbandment declaration of '04 and is used to denote a happy undertone in prevention of offense. (A valid reason after paragraph 4b.)[/sub]

I'm very very slowly learning Spanish... so I would like to finish learning that. I've also read som German, so I would like to finish learing that language too.

So besides learning Spanish and German I would like to learn Russian (because it sounds awesome), Japanese (because I watch anime) and possibly Dutch and/or Finnish...
