What was the last game you beat? Did you enjoy this particular game and why or why not? Pretty straight forward.

The last game I beat was Fallout New Vegas and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I dropped about 130 hours into the game just exploring the different areas. The humor was fantastic and when I got sick of wandering around I would just return to the bright strip and dick around for a while. The main reason I enjoyed this game is that I like well done rpgs filled with choices and have a lot of loot. Nothing better than selling off loot.

Jesus, what was it...

Might've been the GTAIV: TBOGT. I think. Can't really remember, haven't been playing too many recently.

But it was pretty good. I don't like how restrictive the base jumping was, and some of the characters should've been developed a bit more (although that doesn't bother me too much, it's only DLC), but it was nice to have a bit of the 6th gen atmosphere back.

Though it is a mod, I'd say this is long enough to call a game. Nehrim, the total overhall for Oblivion, took me over 50 hours to beat, and it was amazing. The lack of level scaling and the gameplay balances that were included in it made it so much more enjoyable than standard Oblivion had ever been. Also, marksman was insanely powerful, so much of the last thirty or so hours was just me getting a few well placed stealth arrows on targets and becoming invisible before any of their buddies got to me.

It probably was Zeno Clash. Fun as hell, but the singleplayer was very unimpressive, and should have been longer.

Katawa Shoujo if that counts. It was fun but it's still in beta so I doubt it counting. Other than that I really have no recollection of what game I finished last.

I just beat Dead Space 2 Hardcore mode. Totally worth it, as I now have the platinum trophy and the foam finger of death. Many, MANY rage inducing moments during that playthrough though.

If you mean the last game I beat for the first time, that would be Dead Nation. I must admit, I like how that game ended. It was a perfect way to finish it.

Just finished Spiderman: Web of Shadows a couple of days ago.

A bit repetitive, I couldn't play it for more than an hour or two at a time. Otherwise an awesome game with a vast open world. I found it a lot of fun just web-swinging around the city, the freedom was very cool.

Zeno Clash too
the singleplayer had some badass locations, especially the river of the end of the world
too bad how short it is

A replay of Neverwinter Nights. The only thing I don't like about that game is how repetitive the landscape designs are.

Let's see...

I think it was LIMBO. The game was good, if not short. I wish I didn't spend $15 dollars on it, opening day.

Crysis 2. Good for a little combat with fun options. Bad for storytelling as I found it hard to keep up with anything going on.

The Darkness.

It was alright. Story was good, powers were fun to use and it had a pretty interesting atmosphere.

Only problem was that it may have been one of the Worst FPS's I've ever played. The way the game played, it really didn't feel like it needed me to be there.

Last game I beat was Resident Evil 4. Damn fine game. Wasn't all that scary (at least in the last 2/3rds of the game), but it was definitely one of the best games I have played in a while. It is now one of my favorite Gamecube games. Nearly everything clicked. The gameplay, the graphics, the aesthetics, the music... All great. The only problems I had were some minor annoyances with the controls, and with the story, which was only okay (not particularly bad, not particularly good, just okay). Just an all-around fantastic experience. One of the few instances where a game has managed to live up to the massive hype surrounding it. I may have been very late to the party on this one, but man, am I glad I showed up!

The career mode of WWE Smackdown vs Raw 2007. It annoys me how they improve every aspect of wrestling games each iteration, but somehow they vcan never get the actual wrestling right. Still, there's something satisfying about entering a Royal Rumble as the Undertaker and absolutely dominating.

I recently finished Demon's Souls on NewGame++

Yes, that's been the third time I finished Demon's Souls with the same character, currently a level 160 hybrid(all stats roughly equal).
I love Demon's Souls, it's not that hard once you know how the game wants to be played(and you have both a massive shield and a +5 Moon Winged Spear with decent magic).

Mass Effect. Dragon Age bored me for the 9 hours I bothered with it and I've been unable to stick with KOTOR long enough to get past Taris (twice), so I was feeling rather sceptical of Bioware when I started Mass Effect.

Mass Effect, however, did impress. The only thing that keeps it out of my personal top 10 would be the very repetitive environments of all of the side missions. Pallete swap planets and identical interiors everywhere that wasn't a core story mission. I love to explore game worlds/universes, and ME was a letdown in that respect.

Otherwise though, great game.

That would be Crysis 2. I don't have many complaints, to be honest, especially in terms of gameplay. It would be putting it lightly to say that the story gets a bit choppy at times, though. I think part of the problem is that this was one of those cases where the developer brought in the writer after they'd already built half the game, and since even a writer as awesome as Richard Morgan can't work complete miracles, the quality of the narrative suffered. I really liked the dynamic between the Nanosuit and the protagonist, and some of the characters were pretty interesting, but it still can't shake the fact that an alien invasion in New York is about as generic a plot as you can get. Also, the ending was extremely confusing, but then again, the story is written by Richard Morgan, so I guess I'd have been more surprised if the game hadn't had at least one big "what the fuck" moment.

Golden Sun: Dark Dawn.
I'm okay with it, but I definitely think it could have been better. It's pretty much a giant sequel hook for the supposed next installment. Oh, and what's with the giant spotlight on Sveta. Not even Karis, Rief, Eoleo, and Himi got that much attention combined.
