Last PC game I bought was Morrowind.
Wii game was Mad World.
PS3 was Street Fighter 4.
360 was Star Ocean 4.(Don't even play it.)
DS was Avalon Code
PSP was Tales of the World.
Everything else I can't remember.

Wow, the trend I'm seeing over and over again is that there hasn't been a good PC game that wasn't a short casual game in almost a year. Since I've already played and been dissapointed by Fallout 3 and Kings Bounty (the new Kings Bounty game was horrible IMO) it looks like I'm stuck with console ports and old games.

Cryostasis sounds interesting though, I think I'll check out some reviews and consider trying it out.

"The Typing of the Dead", could often be found sharing a shelf with all sorts of Win ME apps back in the days before USB. Fun and educational, especially for those considering a data entry career...

You know Portal was pretty good...

I've already played Portal, I loved it... It was short, and nothing there makes me want to go back to it and play it again, but I loved it while I was playing it... Man... I want a game that I can look back at three months after playing through, and think to myself... "There's a game I want to play again"

Company of Heroes for me. A good WWII RTS with a C&C:Generals-esque speciality selection. The only problem for me was patching it.

If you haven't yet checked out Condemned: Criminal Origins (by some far-flung chance), you really oughta try the PC version. It's the only horror game that's ever put me on edge, and with PC controls, the game just works.

Last one I brought for the PC was Crysis Warhead, Was worth the money.
But I have a Philosophy on DLC.
Only buy it if the company is worth it.

I have to spend another $120+ a year
On what? PSN is not paying subscription like XBL, at least not the last time I was on.

Also, way to miss the entire point of Console Exclusive games.
Also to add...Xbox Live is only like 30-60 bucks for a year (depending where you get it from)

$30+ bucks
thirty dollar plus bucks. Awesome. Fallout 3 is amazing, Dawn of war 2 is amazing, dead space is worthwile, sins of a solar empire, fear 2, L4D, WoW... to answer the thread topic. In response as to whether or not we're being swindled or not, It seems mildly unethical for the Xbox to charge me to use the internet I already pay for on my pc with my xbox, and I find it laughable that people refer to the L4D survival pack as "DLC" when it's a bloody patch.

Prototype, but it's not out yet.

Demigod is the only PC game worth buying. (If you're talking about recent PC games, like for the past month or so)

Oh.. also Plants Vs. Zombies if you're into casual games.

Dwarf Fortress.

Oh wait, that one was free? HELL YES! One of the most addictive games I've played in years. So good.

What's another one I've been playing alot of recently? Mount & Blade. So damn good and I only payed 15$ for it. Playing right now with a mod that adds gunpowder units as well as a whole slew of other tweaks to the base gameplay and it's like a whole new experience. Charging through rifle smoke to break the marching infantry lines is an experience you've gotta play yourself to know just how damn fun it is.

But you're probably thinking more recent games, because you strike me as the sort who thinks if it isn't a big-budget major release, it doesn't count for some reason. (Which is both stupid and naive I might add! You're missing a helluva lot of amazing games with that mindset.) So on that from I've been playing a fair bit of Dawn of War 2 lately and enjoying it. Love the more tactical approach the developers went with this time around and the races are as fun to play now as they ever were. Waaaagh! For the Craftworlds! For the Emperor! Snarlgnashfangdrip! The usual.

Empire: Total War is also incredible. Buggy on occasion, but incredible. Naval battles are absolutely sublime to watch, a joy just to see and experience, and there's so few games out that that pack such detail into even the most minute things so that it's a genuine joy just to *watch* the game be played. Gameplay is the same as ever, and although I know some people don't like it, personally I love the time period and think the tactics of the period are quite interesting.

Most recent game I bought? Freedom Force package on STEAM, think it was 6$, amazing value from what I hear and I'm looking forward to trying em out tomorrow.

Good times, good times! GREAT time to be a PC gamer.

Most recent game I bought was Fallout3, first day after release.

Still I got some older games real cheap after that, like Overlord.
Getting the latest and greatest may not be worth it when there's so many old gems out there that run like triple digit fps, for real cheap.

I honestly don't buy games that often.

I am looking forward to quite a few games in the near future, though.
Alpha Protocol, Mortal Online, Prototype...

...Okay, yeah, that's "quite a few" for me.

Honestly, if you changed the title to include every console, my answer probably wouldn't change, save to add Heavy Rain and Infamous.

But the last PC game I bought and enjoyed?
Uh...Neverwinter Nights 2 and expansion, I guess.
Oh, wait, no.
I pirated Sins of a Solar Empire - that was pretty good, I suppose.
Prototype looks awesome...though the last PC game I ever actually bought was Guild Wars. The most recent game I obtained via...questionable means was Oblivion.

Mods = Fun.
