Last PC Game worth actually buying?

Hmmmm, Crysis Maximum Edition, about three days ago.

In the future may i recommend Overlord II, the orginial was one of the best games I've ever played. The sequel looks like its going to be a lot better.

And for value for money go for Pyschonauts, the Orange Box or Beyond Good and Evil.

Drakensang is a great rpg. Pretty deep character progression, real-time/turn-based fighting, and good graphics. Can have up to 4 in your group. Has decent crafting. Good item selection and some of the better looking armor i have seen in a game. All sorts of other things i liked about it but i will just say i enjoyed it from start to finish. Just takes a bit to learn the ropes when you start out, but it is worth it once you get into it.

Last week I got Rainbow Six Vegas for 10 bucks. Kinda glad I got it for 10 bucks too since although it's a decent game I have my gripes with it after having my standards elevated by a previous game I played. I can't find Last Remnant ANYWHERE for some weird reason and I am keeping my eye on Prototype, Singularity, and Alpha Protocol, hopefully they turn out good.

I like Portal a lot. For 30 bucks you can get it with Half-Life 2 (which is okay) and Team Fortress 2 (which is supposed to be fanatastic, but my crappy graphics card can't handle it).

What does it say about the industry when the last games worth buying were such massive disappointments for so many gamers (myself included)? DemiGod and Fallout 3 keep coming up again and again, but both of them fell so short of their potential that it's not even funny... PC gaming is really in the toilet.

Most recent game I bought? Freedom Force package on STEAM, think it was 6$, amazing value from what I hear and I'm looking forward to trying em out tomorrow.

Is simply one of the best games Irrational have ever done, and they are the same company who made System Shock 2 and Bioshock!
