Rice and pasta. Seriously lazy for somewhat good food. Here's a couple of recipes:

You need: rice (or pasta, actually, doesn't matter much), frozen vegetables (pack of mixed ones works great, but you can get different packs and mix them yourself, too), soy sauce (optional).

How to cook: Take water in a sauce pan, put it on the stove, add rice (or pasta - whichever you want, really). Wait until it's nearly cooked, so 10-15ish minutes probably, maybe some more for rice, and add the frozen veggies - they need like 5 minutes tops. When cooked, drain water, and maybe add soy sauce. There - food. You can even make large quantities of it - enough for several meals.

---

If you want to impress people with your cooking, I'll give you the recipe called "veiled eggs". It's so fucking easy and if served it looks like it almost required effort:

You need: eggs. 2-4 per person or whatever you wish, really, doesn't matter.
Also, for the sauce - yoghurt (sort of optional) garlic (also optional) and spices. But you can make your own sauce, really.

How to cook: put water in a saucepan, put saucepan on stove, wait, crack open the eggs and drop them in the boiling water. Now wait until they are ready, i.e, 3-4 minutes. Done. It's about as hard as just boiling eggs.
For the sauce, as I said, you can make your own. What I usually do (picked it up from my mother) - I mix yoghurt with some crushed (or minced) garlic (powder also works, I'd add more of it, though), and salt and black pepper. If I have some at hand, I'll add some feta cheese rather than salt.

To serve: put eggs in a plate, add sauce.

Hot dog surprise. Boil a bunch of hot dogs, chop them up, and throw them in a giant frying pan with a shit-ton of chopped onions and potatoes. Sprinkle with salt. It'll last DAYS.

Not from me but from some one i work with.

Beer. that is all.
sounds like a good meal to me :)

My laziest meal would probably be putting a pizza in the oven, not being bothered to wait long enough for it to cook properly but eating it anyway

Get instant ravioli from any major supermarket, boil the kettle, and pour it over the pasta in a bowl. Microwave for 30 seconds after leaving to stand for a few minutes, then drain...done.

Grab a tortilla/burrito, fill with cheese and possibly some frankfurters. Fold it.
Put this in a grill or toaster, 'till crispy.
Omnomnomnom. =D

Cheese on toast. You grate some cheese, put it on toast, grill until the cheese melts. Apply Worcester sauce. Eat.

Beans on toast, the mainstay of any British student's diet.

Step 1. Acquire bread and beans (tinned, in tomato sauce NO SHUT UP NO OTHER SAUCE WILL DO)

Step 2. Place bread in toaster. Yes, the entire loaf, in the one toaster. What, you don't have a whole loaf toaster? How rubbish.

Step 3. Un-tin the beans, put them in a microwavable bowl, microwave the damn thing till it's so hot it looks like freaking lava. Lava with beans in it.

Step 4. Put the toast on a plate, smother it in beany lava. Get eatin' boyo, for you are now a British student who just cooked the a damn good lazy student recipe.

If it doesn't look like this but humongous, then go home, try again.

In order pf ease: can of tuna, protein shake, or for a little more effort mix eggs, chuck in some RTE chicken and heat in a pan until it won't kill you anymore.

Pretty much all I eat at the minute, stupid cutting phase...

funnily enough I do actually call this recipe The Concoction.

1. Boil Pasta (any will do)
2. Grate Cheese
3. Drain pasta and mix all ingredients with sweet chilli sauce.
optional additions : meat, tomatoes and whatever savouries you can find in the fridge.

and one I have never had the chance to make as it is only viable on long (>1 week) camping trips
This recipe may be a little off.

Bucket Lunch

1. throw everyone's remaining lunch food in bucket
3. mix and serve

Its like Scroggin (Trail mix and confectionery mixture) became a meal, and proof that after a few days in the bush -anything- is edible and tasty.

Piss easy pork chops.

Heat over to 200c. In roasting dish, add salt, pepper, garlic and rosemary. Place pork chops on top. Add same ingredients again on top and drizzle with oil. Roast for 15 to 20 minutes.

These things are so easy, and taste bloody awesome too. This is probably the easiest recipe I cook. I like to put a little more effort into food than your average bachelor. Like Robert Rodriguez said... Not knowing how to cook is like not knowing how to fuck.
OK, you know what? I just got home from buying groceries for the weekend/next week and I ended up getting pork chops 50% off. Now some random person is feeding me a recipe that sounds awesome. Thank you sir, you just gave my dinner an upgrade.

OT: My favourite lazy recipe would be chicken. It's up to you how much you want to put into it, but I usually get chicken breasts, give them a quick round in the frying pan to get them crispy on the outside and use the chance to apply spices. Then I put them in the oven at 200c for about an hour, after 30 minutes I add vegetables and add some cheese on the top. I serve with rice on the side.

Late Night Bacon of course... from Rachel Ray even...<.<

Wait a second, the estimated cooking time at the top says 5 minutes, but it also says to microwave for 6-13 minutes.
Which is it?! So confused!

To baked beans I like to add Worcester sause, grated cheese and pepper. Beans can be a little boring if you eat them too often so this adds a little extra something.

Put some ham and cheese on that badboy and you actually have a really balanced meal.

Your own arm, raw. It's probably right near you now, ready to eat. You don't have to go outside, you don't have to go anywhere, just raise your arm and eat.

Or you could eat your own cheeks but no-one's that lazy, are they?

Frosted foods make for easy meals. Can just chuck them in an oven/microwave and you're done.

I've been making some tortillas recently:
- Get frozen tortillas
- Throw on a preheated pan
- Flip 1 or 3 times (~30 second intervals)
- Put some meat slices, cheese and ketchup (can add mushrooms too if you like) on half of a tortilla while it's in the pan
- Close the tortilla by pulling the empty side over the side with meat/cheese/etc.
- Flip once or a few times again

Voila. Can literally be done in under 5 minutes, tastes fantastic :)

Alternatively: eggs, coffee cup, microwave.
That's a great way to get salmonella. Microwaves don't COOK food, so you're leaving all the bacteria on the eggs.

As for my lazy meals, one is cook pasta, add parmesean, lemon juice, salt, and butter. Cannot count the number of times I've just said "I'm hungry" only to discover I've already made that dish.
