Oliver was preparing an attack, only to stop and stare at the parasol now shielding Cirque from him. His visor got to work, and couldn't detect anything odd about it. He decided to be cautious nonetheless, and work from a distance. He extended a hand and fired a blast of energy to vaporize the parasol as well as Cirque.

Oliver was hit by his own attack, unable to dodge in time. The blast smashed into the chest plate of his suit. The layer on top was scorched, and the sheer velocity knocked Oliver back several steps. As he stumbled to stay on his feet, the suit suddenly powered up, his own energy feeding back into him and enhanced by the suit's functions. He conjured a machete in his right hand, feeling something a bit more brutal was necessary. He charged forward, swinging the energy blade at the parasol to try and slash it away, leaving Cirque open to a finishing blow.
