Oliver sprinted after Garret, his suit bringing him up to insane speeds as he went. He picked up enough speed that he was able to jump onto the wall beside Garret and leap at him from above, lunging with his sword.

"Gaz, get down here!" Oliver shouted into the comm. "I've found Garret!"

 

[Moderationintime]

Garret spun around and opened an ethereal portal which sucked in the light sword. He then fired his gun towards Oliver while back peddling towards the forest.

A bullet smashed into the plating on Oliver's right arm, sending it limp. The sting was severe, but Oliver figured it wasn't worth paying attention to. He kept after Garret, about 15 feet behind him as he used his left hand to send a flurry of energy bolts his way.

Above them, Gaz caught sight of the two specks running for the forest. He rode his hoverboard down into the treeline and waited, knowing that Garret was headed his way.

Garret catches sight of Gaz and as he peers up at the speck an energy bolt hits him in the small of the back sending him flying across the ground. His gun and sword slide away from him and he tries to crawl towards the items and is confronted by the large pain in his back. His vision becomes fuzzy and black starts creeping around the edges of his sight. Garret moves towards his sword and passes out with his hand inches away from it

"What, afraid of a little girl?" Rachel said as she lifted in tot eh air and started chasing after Garret. "Afraid of a girl who was not even a threat a few years ago?" She added, then started to pull at Garret's legs, hoping to separate them from his torso.

Oliver walked up to Garret's body and kneeled down, placing him on his back. He looked at hm and the anger flowed back. Nearly everything that went wrong all those years ago could be traced to him and Avian. He conjured a dagger in his hand.

It'd be so easy just to slit his throat right now...

Garret was kneeling next to Samantha surrounded by the bodies of her killers. He was cradling her head in his hands and sobbing quietly "The ***** deserved it" A man said from his bloodied position on the ground. With that line something in Garrets mind snapped. He walked over to the man and ripped out his windpipe with his hands. Garret stood quivering in the blood filled room and looked back to the body of Samantha. "I am so sorry" He whispered to himself as he doused the room in kerosene and through the match down on the ground. He blinked away but this time instead of heading to his apartment he was flying towards a bright light faster and faster and then....

Garret awoke with a jolt and let out a surprised yelp. He was on Olivers shoulders. He tried to speak and found that only a little blood came out of his mouth. He blinked twice and then let his body relax oh well He thought and then found his voice. "Didn't you hear my the first time Roxanne? Kor is on my side, If I don't get back to Japan you will never see him again"

Roxanne...Garret just told you that Kor never loved you...

"We'll all kill it together, don't worry. But I wish Karen hadn't died..."
He hugged tighter and kissed her,
"So what now? Should we go and check on Roxanne?"

An orb exploded, sending a wall of flames barreling towards Oliver and the others who were standing around an unconscious Garrett. A pink bubble surrounded Garrett and dragged him away, bringing him back towards Emily who set about healing his wounds.

Jason stood with his sword drawn and his palm raised towards the other, another orb already glowing with an eerie darkness in his palm. Lucifer stood behind him, his blade drawn and hefted over his shoulder as if it weighed nothing at all.

"Five against one... how unfair... now five against me and Lost Soul... that will be too easy for us." Jason remarked, his gaze flickering over towards Emily as she healed Garrett's wounds.

They had heard gunfire and seen the powers... Jason had flown over as quickly as he could, and Emily had gotten herself and Lucifer over almost as fast. Now, it was time to repay Garrett for sparing him four years ago.

"I was waiting for you to repay that debt" Garret coughed to jason with a grin. He relaxed as emily healed his wounds. "Good as new" He said to himself as he stretched his back. Garret slammed another clip into his gun and and collected his sword.

Jason saved garret with some other people.

"Oh Roxanne, I am not even close to his father, He is much older than me, His real father was killed in the witch hunts, the same to his mother" Garret says as he fires more round towards Roxanne while back peddeling. "You could have joined me, now I am going to have to kill everyone you know, it is a shame"

Dan followed Jess outside.
"I have no idea..."
Dan saw Garret fire and ran forward.
"Crap!"
He jumped infront of Roxanne, taking the bullets to the chest.
"Ow..."
He spat out some blood.

But Roxanne...he...oh, by the way, if you speak to me out loud, they'll think you're crazy. Where was I? Oh, yeah, well...how can you love someone who doesn't love you, but pretended to?
Ceberus noticed Dan.
DAN!

The explosion knocked Oliver away, blackening his armor. He sprung on his hands back to a standing position. His heart sank when he saw who he was up against. Nonetheless, he conjured two gauntlets to augment his attacks. "Jason. Still unrepentantly evil, I see."

Gaz, meanwhile, casually walked out of the woods and turned to face Lucifer. "Big guy." He commented, somewhat bored. "Not really my first choice for aesthetic design, but beggars can't be choosers I suppose. Either way, you die now."

With absolutely no warning save for his comment, Gaz launched a barrage of electrical energy at Lucifer, intent on frying him.
