He stepped away from the body and stared as Jess risked her life to save a corpse.

Oh joy, I go away for an hour expecting a fight, then come back to find Roxanne kept talking and killed the mood. Yay~
Oliver's eye twitched behind his visor as he watched Roxanne talk to Garret. The fact she didn't seem to remember anything about the fight with Avian disturbed him in a way. For a moment he wondered if this was even the same Roxanne as the one that joined his team, but he put that aside.
"If everyone's done having their little touching moments, I can explain." Oliver said. "Roxanne, Garret isn't going to jail. He's one of the only people that have made my kill list. The man's a psychopath. Do you remember Dr. Avian? Garret was his lieutenant back then. He killed the mayor, and helped Avian destroy half the city. And I don't even want to talk about what he's done in other places. But all that matters right now, is that I've found him. He's not escaping this time."

Ceberus flew into the air and over the eagle. He landed on the eagles back and began ripping at its flesh. Ceberus was much stronger than a normal bat and he had sharper teeth too.
Roxanne, don't worry. I can poison this bird.

The eagle gives a small snort as the poison starts to get into him. The eagle gains a bit more speed and then Vanishes into thin air. "Things are about to get violent, Roxanne is it a yes or a no?"

As the eagle blinked, a ripping noise assaulted the ears of everyone present as it was placed back where it was. The eagle fell to the ground, gasping for air and bleeding from most orifices.
"Nice try, Garret." Oliver said. "But I've spent a long time working on a counter to your blinking. Glad to see the field test works."
He conjured a longsword in his hands, and retracted into a stance leaning backwards. "Enough talk."

"Oliver you know I am going to die without my powers right?" Garret asked Joyfully as he stretches his arms and pulls out his sword. "Although my time in Japan has helped me with sword fighting, I took classes"
Rachel was stunned to see the people she had fought with inside the mansion. "Well... this should be more fun than I thought." She said. She started to search the room before seeing Garret. "Long time no see, assmunch." She said, walking inside. "Remember me, Garret? the little crazy girl you mocked and tried to kill?" She drew Tom's extra sword from the bag. "Put up your fucking dukes." She added before seeing the birds. "So Avian is with you, too? Really should have expected as much." She raised her hand at one of the birds attacking the others and grabbed it, then crushed it. Why does my past always come to haunt me?
Garret jumps out of the way of Roxanne. "He never loved you, this was the plan all along. All the things he told you were true, but I sent him here because I wanted to use your powers. It could have been real, but it isn't" Garret said Icily as he pulled out his pistol and fired it at Roxanne. Garret blocked Olivers blow with his sword and then he spun around to see rachel. "God damnit" He murmured as he started sprinting towards the street.
