Dan wasn't really listening anymore. He was staring at the floor.
"Do you think we shoud follow him? Or should we go back?"
Emily sighed, looking up at the girl and standing so that they stood face to face.
"If you want to go, then leave... I was told to protect you by Jason, and I'm not going to disobey his orders. I will go with you if you go back, and I will do my best to defend you." Emily said.

Lucifer snarled, ignoring the man's request completely as his blade drew closer and closer to the mans chest.
"My past is my own." A low snarling voice said, something that sounded like it came from Lucifer.

Jason parried the blade, knocking it away and aiming a claw swipe at Oliver's head. A tail whipped out from behind him, making a quick jab at Oliver's chest. From some other part of the mansion, Jason could hear loud noises and crashes as something large tore through the mansion.
He has finally arrived...
Sorry it took so long to post, I had a very busy day yesterday
Dan sat back down.
"About what?" He said gloomily.
He rested his head in his hands and questioned himself again about why he had been thinking about suicide so much.
"What are you going to do?"
He laughed once,
"If I don't know myself, then how are you going to find out. But I have a question Jess. How would you cope if I died?
"No but...maybe..."
He took his head from his hands and looked deep into Jess' eyes,
"I've been contemplating suicide a lot."
"Don't worry Jess. I won't do anything to hurt you. If you don't want me to do anything then I won't."
Dan had an idea why he might be thinking about this a lot lately, but he didn't want to say.
"Jess, like i've said so many times before, I love you too much to hurt you, in any way possible."
He hugged her back.
