Buck was hit by a double-whammy. First Garret teleported away, admitting what everyone else had figured out a long time ago. Then he was hit in the back of the head by a large rock. He turned to see Lucifer standing there, holding a bloodied sword. He blinked once, and then sighed. "You know, I thought I'd be a lot angrier seein' another one'a my friends die. But, surprisingly, I'm pretty calm. Or maybe I just got so mad I went full circle t' serenity. Doesn't matter now. Gonna kill you, den I'll kill dat big dragon, DEN I'll kill Jason. ANd den, me an' my family c'n get back t' normal. But, one step atta time."
He cracked his knuckles, and threw the hardest punch he could straight at Lucifer's face.
At the same time, in such a dire moment of concentration, Lucifer was distracted by the whispering of Charles in his ear. You thought you could escape me with something as trivial as death?

Oliver immediately swapped out his sword for a longer staff, better for defense. He twirled and parried, knocking away each of Jason's strikes. He noticed that his foe was going easy on him, but wasn't sure what to make of it.
"Four years ago??" Oliver asked, shocked at Jason. "Jason, I was on YOUR side four years ago! What about four weeks ago, when you blew up a CITY?! How the hell is that atonement?!"
He added a spearpoint to his staff, and shoved it towards the bottom of Jason's ribcage, aiming for a non-lethal blow that would still bring him down.
