Dan laughed, "Jess, i was joking..." To Roxanne, "Sure, go ahead..."

"Screw it, i'm not scared of seeing how you make it..." Dan said, stepping closer to Roxanne.

"Rox, i'm a doctor. If I can handle a humans insides, I can handle this."

Jason had jumped from the helicopter just as it had exploded. He knew that it wasn't destroyed, but he felt that splitting up was an easier way to lose the people now chasing him. Emily and Lucifer had both jumped to, Emily sliding down an energy slide to the city below, while Jason and Lucifer both dove down to the earth, their arms locked at their sides and the rest of their bodies unmoving. Lucifer fell down at the same location Jason did, and they both landed, crouching in a crater formed by their landing.

Jason and Lucifer spent no time thinking about what had happened to the others, no, they began to run, jumping over dumpsters and overturned cars in their attempt to get away from their attackers. Jason felt something stuck into his shoulder, and he noticed that Lucifer was bleeding profusely from his left arm. Jason assumed something had happened to his metallic arm when the explosion had happened. Once they were a safe distance away, Jason and Lucifer jumped into a clean sewage system. They ran for quite some time after that until they decided that they were safe.

Dan took the injection and grinned, "I'm pretty angry about the after effect and i'll probably never use this again, but at least I can help..." He stared at the syringe and laughed, "I've been...well, in all truth i've been very bored..." He injected the syringe into his arm and felt the fluid run through his blood. He wasn't phased by the feeling at all, he just laughed.

Jess took the syringe, "I've been fine I suppose..." She injected the syringe into her arm.

Dan pulled the syringe from his arm and winced, "Pain resistance. Wait..." He took the armour that he had scavanged and put it on a nearby table, "Ok, so how are we going to test it?"

"I guess i'll go for performance then."

Garret awoke to see Dan and jess in the base. Immediately he yelled something down the hall and guards popped out of there rooms and aimed there weapons at Dan. "Roxanne, do you remember what I said?"

Dan just stood, not paing much atention to the shocks, until he could feel them more and more.

"My best time is about 13 seconds. I could be wrong though..." She said.
