Dan laughed,
"That's not going to happen. And besides, don't take this the wrong way, but David could get me here quite easily due to his power, so I suppose I could get a house in England and you could stay here. I can understand if you don't like the idea, but i'm willing to stay here if it's what you want."
"And for that reason, I don't care about seeing the baby grow up. but if you wish, I will stay." He sighed. It was almost as if Jess had forgoten the planes of having their own kids. But that could be saved for another time. That's what he assumed anyway.
"I didn't say I hated her, I just said I didn't care. Also, I couldn't be a good influence on anyone. But I can understand what you're saying. Although I'll have to stay here with you, don't expect to see me very often." He said.
"It's fine. I'm just saying, when you're near them, you won't be seeing me. And if ythe baby was ever to meet me, she'd probably hate me anyway. I'm not a good role model. That and most people hate me before they meet me anyway." He rubbed his his face in his hands and looked at Jess. His eyes were bloodshot.
This isn't going to turn out well...
"It's not that I don't want to see it, it's just that there's no point in me doing so."
He said. He was sick of having the same type of conversations by this point and he ws bored out of his mind. He needed something. Anything. He needed it soon.
"Yea we worked out a deal... but you should leave the city." Jason said, not looking at Rachel. He stared blankly across the room, his eyes trained on the wall.
"It probably wouldn't be safe for you to stay in the city any longer..." Jason said, but not wanting to move.
Dan climbed in beside Jess, but didn't sleep. He knew that sometime very soon something bad was going to happen to him. He couldn't fight without his powers. Or at east, he couldn't fight a dragon without his powers.
Now I understand why I jumped.
I agree, the only reason I had Dan talk to her is because I seriously don't have anything to do right now and i'm seriously bored with having Dan sit around all day -.-
Huh... who is smaug85? One of you guys invite him?
Rachel looked back at Jason, the blush mainly gone. "No. I don't have my powers to get out on foot, and I want to help you. I don't have much else to do, anyway. I've already tried to restart my life twice, and I don't want to do it again." She raised two fingers on her hand, as she was starting to be able to move her hands and feat. "If we can postpone this fight for two days, then I can help whatever side you're on." She added, her voice more authoritative. Not an hour ago -well, it could be longer, but I'm guessing an hour- he was flirting with me, and now he's telling me to leave him to die. Is he always this strange?
"Do what you want, I was simply trying to warn you to stay away from the bulk of the fighting... I know that Oliver is going to be coming after me. Kor's men will be handling the bulk of the fighting, while I get inside and find Oliver." Jason said, looking into Rachel's eyes.
"Just try not to get hurt." Jason added, as he stood up and made for the door.
"Wait, huh, I was kind of hoping you could get me out of here. I won't be able to walk for several more hours, and I don't know what Garret will do to me if I stay here for too long." Rachel said, moving her hand so her fingers faced Jason.

He giggled a bit, his imagination creating a thousand different situations, all involving the death of the three other park attendees. Afterwards, he sighed, and realized that he had reached his destination: Sunset Sides Apartments.

Jason sighed, and walked back over to her bed. He wrapped the blankets around her, and lifted her out of the bed, carrying her with both arms. He and Lucifer exited the base quickly after that, letting Kor know that he was taking Rachel with him. Once outside, Jason grew his wings and flew up into the sky, Lucifer disappearing into the city again.
"Were do you want me to put you?" Jason asked, not looking at Rachel again.
