"I understand" Kor said sadly. "Don't worry, you will see most of Clare's life, Don't look to far into the future"
"I have no idea, Time passes oddly in this place" Kor said as he looked around. "It has been like a month since we got here I thing"
"I do not think so" Kor said as he gazed over towards a wall. "This may not be the best time, but I fear that Dan can not be trusted"
Jason kissed her gingerly, and hugged her tightly. He didn't want to let her go, but it was time for the battle to begin.
"I need to go... stay here and watch over Emily please." Jason said, grabbing his sword from the table and putting it easily around his waist. The sheath was behind Jason, not dangling off to his side, which to Jason was much more comfortable than the sheath laying at his side.
He sighed and began the long walk back up to the surface, encountering Lucifer on his way, who then followed Jason up to the surface.
Rachel wanted to go after Jason, but she realized she would be no help. Instead she left the room and stood at the back of the tunnel. "You better come back here in one piece, Jason! Last thing I need is another dead boyfriend" She called out, hoping to give him a reason to fall back if the odds were against him. Why does everyone I love take stupid risks? She thought, heading back to her room. She heard someone ask if anyone was there, but decided Jason would get it. Either he comes back in two days, or I go get him.
Jason smiled, but didn't respond to Rachel's call. Instead he opened the metal hatch to see a man standing at the top of the hatch, wearing a suit and looking like he had just tried to open the hatch. Jason jumped nimbly out of the hatch, Lucifer following suit behind him.
"Can I help you? You don't look like everyone else down in that city." Jason asked, pointing behind him to the ruined city.
Kor looked into Roxanne's eyes as two horn calls were heard over the loud speaker. "I love you" He said as he spun on his heel and walked towards the meeting room.

Garret stared at his watch in the meeting room. His feet were on the table and there were guards surrounding him. Kor sat next to him and they both nodded to him.

Outside the base a squad of guards in much heavier looking suits stood with rifles held over their shoulders, waiting to escort Jason

"If I were you, I really wouldn't want to get on my bad-side, which means watch what you say to me... but I'm in a fairly decent mood today. Go into the hatch, tell the girl down there that you were sent by Jason. She'll know your all right... unless of course you want to help kill off the rest of this town?" Jason asked, telling Lucifer to go ahead without him.
Lucifer nodded, slipping away in a instant. Lucifer arrived at Kor's base a little bit later, and stood waiting with the guards outside of the base.
