As the forces of Garret poured into the forest, Renegade caught sight of them. He pointed towards them and said "Attack." The demons under his command shot forward at lightning speed, descending upon the rear of the group before they had even reached the trees. The front of the group was ambushed at the edge of the forest at the behest of Renegade's snapping fingers. A massive blue minotaur rushed from the trees, goring two of Garret's men on his horns before tossing them away. Another demon, a tiny white man, swung his legs onto a man's face, snapping his neck and tossing it to the ground.

Renegade himself stuck to the plan and approached the eastern entrance, making a beeline towards Garret with only a humanoid figure in a cloak beside him.

 

[Vesuvius Hetlan]

Indrakshi quickly snapped on the scope and tri-pod onto the rifle and looked through the scope. She found her first target. BANG "Boom. Headshot."

Shadow snarled and unholstered his revolver and pointed it at the man moving towards him.
KA-BOOM The shot propelled the massive slug into the ground detonating it.

 

[Moderationintime]

'Garret' Looked up at renegade and ran inside the base. "Catch me if you can" He laughed maniacally. "I thought I left you behind, guess you haven't gotten over my victory"

Meanwhile the actual garret, in full combat armour. Ordered through his visored helmet. "Snipers, target unusual"

On the command the snipers rained down volley after volley of deadly sniper fire at the demons.
"all others, fire at will"

The other men opened up with machine gun and assault rifle fire.

Garret readied himself with his full Samurai gear. Katana, Wakazashi,tanto this well help if oliver finds me out

A handful of demons fell from the volley that Garret's forces and the others sent, but the rest remained strong and tore into them, dropping several of the humans as well. A six-armed dervish flowed through the battle wielding three scythes, hacking its way through every enemy it encountered. It caught a sniper round from Indrakshi in the shoulder, but shrugged it off. It look up at the foe and hissed, charging at Indrakshi as it threw a scythe, the weapon spinning towards her.

Renegade's suit absorbed what little shrapnel made it to him. He walked towards Shadow unfazed. "You work with Garret, then? All right." He lunged forward with one foot, two dark beams launching out and twisting towards Shadow while the cloaked figure darted inside after the false Garret, catching up to him quickly. He made a quick jab with a short sword to try and kill him.

"All right, now!" At the command of Garret a score of superpowered humans charged over the hill, various fireballs, lightning bolts, bullets, and other projectiles slamming into the exposed flank of Garret's forces, followed by the assault of the more melee-focused soldiers.

Indrakshi smirked and loaded a customised shell into her rifle.
She noted the spinning weapon flying towards her and ducked.
She in return pulled the trigger [sub]"Open wide and suck on these frag shells!"[/sub]

Shadow smirked as he got back up. "Work for Garret? He's my master. I'd be a terrible butler if I didn't." He pointed the pistol and fired twice more. The shells detonated brutally near his feet.

The explosive rounds tore into the hissing face, ripping off its hood to reveal nothing more than a vaguely humanoid black orb for a head. Unmoved, the demon launched into close range, and swung its remaining two scythes in an x-shaped pattern.

Gale spun around and grabbed the cloaked man as the sword went through his abdomen. "Let's die" He said as he clicked down on the detonator. The whole building exploded in a super heated blast, ripping gale apart. [hr]

Kor was running through the forest being tailed by demons as he leaped inside the tree home. Tef was standing at the fire in the hearth with a smile as he stroked his dog's head. "I need to call in a favor, people are burning down your forest" Kor said

Tef's face hardened at the words and stood up. "First tempest now this, I will help" He said as he sat on the ground and closed his eyes. He took deep breaths and a rumble could be felt on the battle ground. The demons chasing Kor were impaled as a tree shot out long brances and killed them.

In other places on the battle field trees started coming alive and rock spikes shot up and hit enemies.

It seems he found his savior Garret observed as he ducked under a ball of fire and watched in awe as nature itself started attacking the other side. "To the mountain" He said as the back lines got hit but most of the force got to the high ground and fired bullets down.

Indrakshi smirked and drew the two combat blades she carried on her back. "Farming tools? Cute." She grinned as her two butcher blades shined mercilessly.

As the forces on the high ground fired down at Gaz's troops, a few mages got to work, and summoned large walls of rock to deflect the bullets. The walls then shot out blocks and shards of rock to impale any soldiers that weren't quick enough to get in cover.

In the demonic realm, the cloaked figure was lying on the ground, his eye twitching as the horrible burning slowly subsided. That... was unexpected.

As the trees began to move against Renegade's demons, dark shadows began to pass through them. The trees began to go mad, a few of them now attacking Garret's forces or even other trees. Soon the entire forest became embroiled in a vegetative melee. The demons encouraged this, using torches and flame to burn down those trees still loyal to the other side.

Renegade was knocked to the ground by the large explosion. He quickly stood back up and threw a few sharp slices of dark energy towards Shadow, at the same time informing Oliver that the coast was clear.

Kor and Tef were interrupted as the small white humanoid demon hopped down into their enclave. He did nothing but smile maniacally, watching and waiting for a reaction.

[hr]

The demon fighting Indrakshi spun, using its scythes to form a wide sweeping arc intended to slice its foe cleanly in two.

Shadow quickly dodged the blades and smoke-warped behind him and fired three shots into his back.
"I am Goshuujin-sama's. No one may take my life without his permission."

"Hello unholy one" Tef said calmly as he drove the insane tree's back into themselves again. "Do you wish to continue destroying life in the forest, I would appreciate if you didn't"

"Ah it seems that you have found me" Kor said as the bliss and aroma in Tef's home calmed him. Kor walked back into a circle of stones where tef was.

"Got it Roxanne, stay alive and watch out!" Garret said as he relayed the message to his troops who were raining fire down from the mountain.

There is no building, everyone is out in the open on a mountain outcropping firing down

As Shadow warped behind him, Renegade swiveled around and shoved his gun upwards, the three shots firing uselessly into the air. "Well, I'm not that good with waiting for permission to get things done." He punched Shadow in the gut, pushing him away as he sent a blast of dark energy towards his eyes, for a blinding attack.

"Hello." Was the only word that came from the monstrosity's mouth. It continued to watch Kor and Tef with its nonexistent eyes. "Please, stop interfering." It requested, almost mocking in its high tone. "We only wish to kill the humans. Your trees are of little consequence, if they stay still."

Now that the others had distracted Garret's forces, Oliver and May led sixty Rat Pack troops directly where they were trying to flee. Flamethrowers burned the few trees that moved against them, as snipers set up positions to pick off anyone that came too close. Oliver spotted Roxanne talking to am armored man, and sent out a message over the com channels. "Roxanne is on the field; do not attack her unless engaged."

Tef glared at the man. "You are on the battlefield using the weapons of an unholy one" Tef said "I will stop once you stop polluting nature with your terrible Aura. Giant spikes of earth shot up from the ground and impaled multiple men on the battle field. The wood house the demon had trespassed in sealed behind it.[hr]

Garret stared straight at oliver momentarily and then started running towards the mountain.
