As Jason's gauntlet came in, Oliver surged a bit of energy to his right, repulsing the attack. At the same time, he conjured a long knife in his left hand and brought it up to parry Jason's blow, at the same time stabbing with his longer blade, aiming to run Jason through.

Renegade let loose an explosion of dark energy, the massive pulse stopping both Lucifer's slice and his punch, stopping him where he stood. He then sent out an even stronger, second pulse to knock him off of his feet, hopefully long enough for Buck to start stripping his armor.

"Quit?" Lars asked. "Look around you, this is a war zone. Your boss and his friends killed my entire family and my friends. The Rat Pack gave me a chance to get revenge, and to learn to control my powers. I can't betray them by giving up now."
He made a roundhouse kick, the astral projection rocketing towards Shadow.

As the nanobots consumed the demon, they began to jitter about, as if something were wrong. In a few seconds they detonated, corrupted by the demon's power. It then rose up, snapping its neck back into place. Its head ripped open, revealing a jagged mouth at last. It spoke in the same hiss it had used before.
"Break me all you wish, but as long as I draw breath I will get back up and fight."
The demon swung with its many claws, aiming to shred Karen.

May rushed to the front lines, impaling one of Garret's troops, while the Rat Pack rallied behind her. They faced down Garret's troops and began to pick them off, advancing up the hill.
Good, now if we can just get to that hill I know we can win.
