Jason had avoided the attacks by putting up his armor, each attack slamming harmlessly against his armored body. Jason surrounded himself in flames, flames that began to spread to other parts of the house. Soon, everything around Jason was going up in flames, and Jason had to smile at his handiwork.
Jason then let the flames around him die down, but continued letting the house burn. He lashed outward with his sword, hoping to catch Amaranth off guard.

Amaranth jumped to avoid the bullets, and went to block his punch with a weapon but managed to get kicked in the side instead.
The kick send him across the room, he had really not expected that. He stood up and laughed, "Okay, time to be serious. God I hope this works." he said as the swords began to become smaller and smaller. The blades eventually became so small that they couldn't be seen, only a slight glow radiated from his hands.
He raised them up, and then shot thousands of tiny needles out towards his enemy's.
After his onslaught of needles, he chuckled, then created more orbs of energy, 7 for each energy. The orbs then surrounded his body, and formed a layer of protection. The energy broke open around his mouth and eyes so he could see and breath, but other than that, he was covered in pure energy.
"This worked quite well..." he said as two new swords came out of the energy. "This should be fun."
Fafnir was dragged along the floor for a little bit. "Oh dear, what ever will I do?" he asked himself in a very mocking tone. He then slammed his hands into the ground, stopping the chains from dragging him. Flames went from his heels and made his feet fly in the air, kicking the chain up into the air, trying to wrench it out of his hands.
Either way, He used the momentum to finish a flip and land properly, then ripped out the arrow and sealed it up with fire. "This should be fun then."

Oliver managed to keep hold of the chain, but dissipated it in disappointment after Fafnir ripped it out. "Okay!" He said, trying not to let the failure slow him down. "You can take a shot, let's see if you can take a punch!" A pair of spiked gauntlets formed around his hands, and he rushed forward, starting off with a double punch against Fafnir's shoulders, going for a dislocation.

Renegade had nowhere to move from such an attack, and the flurry of needles sliced through him. He was thrown against the wall, but remained standing as blood began to leak through every pore. He panted for breath as his dark energy sealed the wounds. His vision blurred, nearly causing him to fall unconscious on the spot. He looked up to see that Amaranth was now coated in energy. He gave a goofy smile, impossible to see under his Guy Fawkes mask.
"Let's go, then." He said. His body suddenly turned pitch black, as his own energy copied the move performed by Amaranth. For some reason, however, he was able to cover up his eyes and mouth, leaving him seemingly untouchable. The dark hero darted to the left, and threw a quick bolt at Amaranth's side before rushing forward with a swipe of his left hand.

"Oh you have no idea what fun is!" He lunged recklessly at Aramanth becoming slightly etherial as to evade the needles. Tendrils on energy coursed through the palm of his hands as he prepared to strike at Aramanth's throat. "I'll kill everyone who get's in my way! My pursuit of power will stop for NOTHING!" He struck with a dual palm thrust at both Aramanth's heart and throat, becoming terresterial at the same time.

Fafnir jumped over the Oliver with ease, then launched to massive fireballs towards him from his feet. "Remember, Perfect point is much stronger than anything you can do" he said as he kept on moving to the other side of the room, firing a few random fireballs at him.
Amaranth sent a counter acting force to stop Renegades attack, causing a mini vortex in the room for a little bit of time, before combining into an explosion. "That was cool" he said to himself as he ducked underneath the screaming madman's attacks.
Yelling is really easy to find...' he thought to himself as he placed his hands near Memoirs chest. Each hand conjured up a different energy source, one being electricity, the other being ice. Instead of making contact with the skin, they both bypassed that and teleported into the middle of his body.
He had never tried this attack, so he was not sure of the results, whether it be devastating or useless, it was about time to find out. He stood back up to find most of his house on fire. "Oh well" he shrugged then jumped out the nearest window, "Better to fight outside anyway." he smiled as he was surrounded by hundreds of destroyed or frozen demons.

Memoir sneered as he managed to evade the devastating power of Aramanth's strikes by ghosting at the last second. "I've got you now!" As he snatched at one of Aramanth's hands and chomped down onto what he thought was it. It was his own hand. In his battle-lust he had just drawn his own blood and drank it. Memoir could feel the blood-memories of his previous reincarnations coursing through his mind. "Give in! Let us rest in piece! KILL US!!!" they shreiked into his ears. He tried to ignore them as best he could but his aim was off. His punch to Aramanth's throat was feet away.
Jason followed swiftly and silently, jumping out the same window and throwing out a fireball as he flew over Amaranth's head. He landed with a roll a few feet away, and straightened up with his sword aimed at Amaranth.
"Come on Amaranth... it's us against you. Do you really think you'll win?" Jason asked, flames already running down the length of Jason's blade.
"Seriously." Renegade added to Jason's comment, black flames surrounding the dark armor. "You've run out of options. You can't win and I'm sure as hell not letting you escape. Might as well surrender, make your impending death quicker."

The fireballs hit Oliver head on, burning away bits of his armor. But the hero pressed on like a madman. "You may be stronger than me, but you don't have anything riding on this fight. I've got a hell of alot more at stake here; that's why I won't give up until you're a corpse on the floor!"
A hammer appeared in his hands, the handle sturdy but ludicrously long, so as to reach the dragon. He swung the hammer, grunting in exertion as he did.

Seriosuly, you were lunging through the air, you managed to dodge an attack, grab my hand, bite it, and then throw a punch at me, all while going over me... Right...
Also after I had escaped too...
I hope you don't mind, but I altered it slightly so it makes more sense kay?
"Actually Yes, Yes I do" Amaranth laughed, as Memoir ran at him with a punch. As he neared him, he transported himself in front of him, then swung his sword backwards, aiming to skewer him in the back. "You forget, I have quite a few powers, you all have one. One skilled person is easily enough to take down a few naives like yourselves." he finished talking as he cut through Jason's fireball.
"And surrender? Why would I surrender? You can join me, that would be the best option." He said, still laughing.
"So my life doesn't count as things riding on this fight then?" Fafnir argued back as Oliver Swung his ridiculously long hammer at him. All Fafnir did was step backwards a bit. Since the hammer was so long, it took too long for it to be any real threat, so it was easily dodged.
He laughed as the hammer sailed effortlessly past him, "I see you must really have a lot riding on this match if you use attacks like that" he mocked him.

"Why would we join you?" Jason asked, simply throwing another fireball towards Amaranth. He then raised his palm and let an orb grow. He hadn't wanted to use this, but hopefully this wasn't an attack Amaranth had copied. He waited for Amaranth to disperse of Jason's other fireball before allowing his Dark Supernova to be released.
No problem. The problem is Memoir's ability is to replicate any other ability he's seen. Hence the name Memoir. He's pretty much comprised of solid thought. No to mention he's who knows how old. But if you wish I'll try and tone it down. If you're confused I'm actually trying to kill him off.
"No. You are dangerously wrong." Memoir smirked "You only know a teeny tiny portion of my powers. I am after all... the Allegory of the Cave. Given life by thought and spurned by logic." Memoir had fallen in deep this time. The madness of hundreds of reincarnations finally digging their claws into his mind poisoning his thoughts with thoughts of power and glory. A single phrase escaped his lips as he felt the last remnants of the real "Memoir" being locked into the throughs of violence and treachery. "Help... me. Kill me..." His mind descended into oblivion as the primal nature took over the fight.
Garret, Kor, and two high ranking Ronin arrived at the cliff and set up a campfire. They started cooking and looked at the clock 11:30
Shadow lurked near Garret-goshuujin-sama's camp site. He didn't need the company but he still wanted to come closer.He was scared but not of anything in the wilds. Goshuujin-sama's tendency to take to the field as a duelist is irritating beyond belief for Shadow as a bodyguard. As a normal human Garret was a heroic master awe-inspiring and all.
Oh, and Dragon, yay or nay on the "bring in the mercs to help even the battle" thing. Depending on it, I can make a post.
Well, I'm thinking Amaranth can do plenty of damage on his own, to be honest. He seems to have quite a few powers XD
Relieved to have Kor gone, May called up the metahuman Billy and three of her best Rat Pack guards; she had no fancy names for their group, but when she wanted to ensure a task was done, they had delivered time and again. "The four of you are coming with me." She said. "We've got a meeting in half an hour. If we leave now we can be there on time."
The soldiers saluted, and Billy nodded in acknowledgment. The quintet left the base in a hurry, making their way towards the tree.

Renegade saw that Jason was going for his ultimate attack. He wasn't going to step in and interfere, but instead added a bit of his own strength to the attack, bringing the power of the Supernova to previously impossible heights.

As the hammer sailed past, Oliver stopped it in mid-air. A small hatch opened, and a sharp, green-tinted spike flew out from the head of the hammer towards Fafnir.
Come on, work, work! Oliver thought to himself.
Green-tinted? I think you know what that means...
