<spoiler=OOC>Nay to the Mercs, I got this. Yay to you joining in on the fight though, the more the merrier I suppose.
Also, someone else fight Fafnir, he is getting kinda lonely with just Oliver...
Amaranth slashed open the other fireball simple enough again. The fire dissipated around him, and he saw an orb glowing in his hand. "That can't be good." he said to himself, then as Renegade continued putting energy into it, he said again "This Really can't be good"
He quickly realised he needed to escape, he looked around, and thought that he could just not run fast enough. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath 'This is going to hurt... Badly...' as his suit of energy closed in around himself. He screamed out in pain, yet didn't make it to painful so that he couldn't store the energy.
Once he had stored enough, he rocketed it out of his feet, blasting him way clear of the area, on top of a nearby roof. He could still feel the left over energy flowing through his system, it felt empowering, like he could do anything.
Fafnir Sighed and grabbed the syringe. He grabbed the middle body of it, as to not stab himself. "I don't know what this is, but it wouldn't have even gotten through my scales, see?" he said as he pushed it in slowly, the needle bent backwards, rendering it self useless.
"That was a good attack I suppose, It's my turn now right?" he mocked. He flexed his arms by his side, each one bursting out with flames as he let the broken syringe onto the ground, smashing on the floor. His arms were covered in flames, and the flames kept growing. The grew longer and longer until Each arm seemed to have a whip on the end.
The Black Dragon then started to charge, not really concentrating where his arms went, just flailing them around all over the place. The flames were hot enough to melt and burn the walls around him, so he didn't need precision.

Jason followed after Amaranth, his wings carrying him easily were Amaranth had just jumped to. He then aimed his arm towards Amaranth, and whispered underneath his breath. The orb that had previously been contained, burst apart and raced towards Amaranth, the flames already incinerating the air around it.
The ray was nearly 30 feet across and tall, so there would be virtually no way to avoid it, unless of course a huge amount of energy was used in avoiding it. When the flames made contact with something, they would surely implode and destroy half the city.

Renegade had followed Amaranth and was prepared to attack him, but was forced to avert his strike when Jason released the Supernova prematurely. The vigilante rolled away, seeking shelter from the blast, but moved to late and his leg, along with a bit of his right side was caught up in it. He screamed in agony as his armor was peeled away from the massive beam, and pulled himself away before his limb was ripped away entirely. All clothing that even touched the beam was gone, leaving behind a leg stripped nearly to the bone, leaving only charred bits of flesh. His back came off a little better, most of the skin ripped away, saved by the enchanted trenchcoat he had kept for so long. He tried to drag himself away, but failed. Seeing their master in such torment, demons arose from the ground and gingerly picked him up, carrying him to the sidelines to tend to his wounds as Jason dealt with Amaranth.
"Oliver." Renegade demanded. "Where's Oliver?"
"Fighting Fafnir." The demons responded.
"Take me to him." Renegade said, ordering them. However, they refused for the sake of his health and set him down in a corner.
Determined to do something, Renegade shot several bolts of his own dark energy at Amaranth, if only to sneak in a hit while he was distracted by other matters.

Oliver threw up a shield, but the whips cut through it as if it weren't even there. The flaming tendrils slashed into him again and again, slowly deconstructing his armor and ripping into the skin and flesh. Dozens of lacerations cut all across the hero as Fafnir relentlessly tore into him. At the end of it, he was on the ground at the other side of the room, bleeding profusely. And yet, he moved. He rose back up to his knees, and then onto his feet, trembling in pain. Underneath his blood-soaked face a mad grin reached his lips.
"Is that... the best you've got?" asked the hero, barely taking in breath between words. "You're running out of time, Fafnir. I know you can't keep this up forever. And you'd better hurry; if you don't kill me quick..." Oliver, during the pause, reached up to his face and wiped away the blood from his eyes, revealing a glow to them, as if filled with resolve. "...you'll never stop me!"

Fuck, reading the Children of Hurin did something weird to my writing.
Rachel, having gotten far from the safe zone, saw a large burst of energy come from the distance. At the very least, someone is that way... She thought before speeding off towards the ray, adjusting the modifier of the mask so she sounded like a man of about her age. I may be a bit short in this, but at least people will take me a little more seriously
Memoir had managed to avoid the blast. Somehow. It wasn't his problem. He wanted to hunt. Prey was near he could sense it. Weakened prey. Wounded prey. He licked his lips as his dull yellow long-coat flapped behind him. Kill...KILL! The hundreds of minds inside his brain spurred him to violent deeds and he followed them. Now Memoir had only one thing to do if he was going to complete the cycle.
Amaranth looked at Jason, and saw the orb start to expand out. 'Oh hell it is this attack... I never thought he would actually do it...' he said as he used some energy to preform a quick back flip that got him a few metres away. 'This is not going to work to well...' he thought as he raised his hands in front of his face, holding one with the palm facing him and the other to have the palm facing outwards, he created a rectangle in the middle.
"Absolute Zero" he said out loud as a blinding light appeared in his hands.
The Supernova began to move towards him at an incredible rate, so the only thing he could do was release his built up attack. He let the energy from the suit power up the attack, reducing the casting time, and then sent it in a concentrated blast, a blast just large enough to Blow a whole through his attack for him to fit through.
A beam shot out. It had no colour, no anything, it was purely invisible. It destroyed all atoms in its path, stopping everything from working in that radius. A small amount stayed behind to cover himself in it, to protect from the parts that will miss.
The energy slammed into the opposing energy force, and they both began top cancel each other out, violently. Licks of flame, Ice, Water and Pure Energy where being dispersed around everywhere. Even some Dark energy was being moved around. Where the beam a mini black hole formed, sucking in more of each ones attacks.
Amaranth landed on the ground and instantly dug his feet into the concrete as hard as he could, the black hole had started to expand and suck in everything. It took in the rest of Jason attack and had just ripped of Amaranths energy shield, then was starting to work on the building and everything else. Renegades few dark blasts were sucked in easily to, not even getting close to him.
He raised his hands again, and pointed them towards the Anomaly, and repeated again, though no sound came out, "Absolute Zero". Another beam shot out, clashing into the Black hole, the wind started to die down, everything stopped being sucked into it a little, so he went again, he cast it 3 times before it finally stopped trying to kill everything.
When it stopped, a massive cube of pure dense matter fell from where it was, and Amaranth laughed. He was tired as much as anyone actually could be, but still needed to keep going, less he lose his life. He ripped his feet from the ground and stumbled over to the Cube on the ground, grabbing it. He started to laugh as he caressed it. He looked up, trying to find Jason, he might have been effected by the Black Hole too, almost everyone should have.

"Heh" Fafnir laughed slightly. He didn't want to admit it, but he was right. Using Perfect Point to rapidly and for too long was almost killing him, he could feel some of his muscles refusing to work and separating from the bone and other Muscles. He had enough energy to continue going, but his muscles may protest.
He looked as his prey, then dropped perfect point, reverting back to regular him, not even in Dragon form. He brushed some of his long black hair out of his face and scratched his beard, then laughed, "And just you will never stop me. I'll tell you what, you can send me back to my time, and then, I won't kill you or anyone you love, and I will be back with the people that I love. Sound good?" he offered Oliver, he really didn't want to kill this one, he was much to peppy and full of resolve to die here.

Oh yeah, and everyone is effected by that Black Hole, SO Amaranth, Jason, Memoir and possibly Rachel, both of you too yes, Just not the ones who are still inside the burning building.

Garret looked at his watch "11:55" He murmured as he looked into the campfire he had made and through another log in.
Renegade was bleeding out. The demons worked to heal him, but nothing worked. He had lost too much from the supernova to keep going for long. His eyes were blurring, beginning to look back on all the years he had spent as a hero. What was he, almost 60 now? Huh. Never really tracked the time, but... I've been doing this for a long time. Of course, I never thought it'd end like this. I've been through worse and made it out okay. What about the man with the weaponized arms? I never caught him, did I? Oh, well, no harm done in the end. I'm sure the kid will get him.
Suddenly, his mind began to race. The kid. Oliver. His eyes flared with dark rage, scaring even his demon attendants. He raised his hand and gave a resounding snap. A horrible red flame emerged inside the ice cube holding the black hole. A spirit of fire itself began to melt the ice, screaming in agony and joy as it was ripped to shreds by the black hole, moving once more. Suddenly, it made a dull roar as if alive, and the world around them began to slowly climb in, though at a rate more well-controlled than before.
Renegade rose up on dark wings, his demons surrounding him to catch the vigilante if he fell. "Jason!" He called out in a raspy voice, struggling to be heard over the roar of the black hole. "Kill Amaranth and my demons will shut off the hole again! Otherwise everything for miles around is going in! I've got business with your ancestor!"
He flew off, heading towards where he had last seen Oliver, leaving Jason to his destined kill. Inside him, a spirit churned. Though restrained, the horrible monster known only as Anovas nodded in approval. THIS IS A GOOD DEATH, RENEGADE. SAVOR IT.

Oliver's grin didn't waver for a moment, as if he was still assured of his victory. "I've seen your work, Fafnir. Loved ones don't suit a man like you; I think you'll be spending your last day right here, right now. I resolved to kill you at the start of this fight, whatever the cost. I haven't changed my mind yet." He conjured a longsword in his hands, feeling a proper duel was the only way to end such a fight. "Come on then," he said, still hunched over in pain. "if you've got the guts, see if you can kill one little man."

As the clock struck midnight, Garret and co. realized they were not alone. May and her 4 companions appeared at the edge of their camp and bowed/nodded curtly. They approached the edge, and May extended her hand to Garret. "Good to meet the leader of my enemy face-to-face." She said. "You're a sick bastard, but even I'll admit you've got a way with soldiers."
Suddenly, his mind began to race. The kid. Oliver. His eyes flared with dark rage, scaring even his demon attendants. He raised his hand and gave a resounding snap. Garret nodded and shook May's hand. Garret's hands were very cold and seemed to give off an odd tingling sensation that could only be described as unpleasant. "Thank you I suppose" He said as one of the Ronin threw another piece of wood into the fire.
"Let's get down to business, then." May said , as her men took up positions around the camp at seemingly random intervals. "You're fielding an army; one considerably cut down to size, but still an army. That means you've got a lot of funding, right?"
Memoir was taken by surprise by the black hole. Hundreds of voices screamed for the last sleep Bring us death! BRING US DEATH!! Memoir's true eyes snapped open. "Activate! Allegory of the Cave!" His body started to static out back to where no one could chase him... ever. Home, where I could be happy. Warm. Safe. His primal mind had forced it's way through. With that he disappeared into his own world.

Shadow smirked as he raised his pistol and aimed at one of the four men. "Tsk tsk."

"Hold on a moment." May said, spotting the sniper. She zipped over at max speed in time to knee him in the gut, then dragged him back to Garret and threw Shadow to the ground. "Your lackey here just tried to snipe one of my boys." May replied, clearly not amused. "Any explanation?"
Amaranth looked as the precious cube began to deteriorate and break open again. "Dammit" He yelled out. He made his hands turn into claws and hacked at the cube, breaking off a fair few chunks before it was completely open. He kept hacking at it until the last few moments before it would open.
With a last slash, breaking of another chunk, it began to open up. He looked down, he had 10 large pieces of the Black Hole. "That will do" he said to himself as he grabbed the smallest one and put it straight in his mouth. "God I hope this works" he said after he had eaten it.
He looked down at his hands, they began to glow. It started from his arms, then began to keep moving until all of Amaranth was glowing. "Awesome" he whispered to himself. Just as he was fully glowing, the black hole ripped open again. Amaranth acted quickly, he moved some of the glowing energy to his feet and exploded away, far enough away to not be sucked in, but he could still feel the pulling of it.
He still looked for anyone, he knew some would be trying to kill him still. Even in his glowing state.

Black Holes are area's of infinite density, where the gravity is so large, it takes in light. This black hole will get bigger and more dangerous every second of it being around.
Absolute Zero is as cold as it gets, freezing everything, Destroying Atoms. Absolute Zero froze the Black Hole up, leaving a cube of all Atoms of the energu that was sucked in, including light, Jason's Supernova, Half of a building and the few other attacks taken in.
Therfore, the block is filled with nothing but pure energy. Amaranth has an attack that converts other forms of energy into useful forms of it for him. By digesting those chunks of Black Hole, he can have a lot of extra energy coursing through him.
The End, hope you could follow and realise that this does make sense.

Garret raised an eyebrow and looked at Shadow. "You are quite stealthy shadow, I almost didn't notice you!" Garret said with a laugh. "And yes may, I have funding, quite alot of it"
"That is why they call me Shadow." Shadow smiled to on the inside, keeping a professional frown on his face.
"So you didn't know he was here; troubling." May noted. "However, the point I was trying to make before was that both you and I have enough money to be very influential people, if we needed to be. We both know that this city's going to be built once all the freaks and mutants are cleared out, and the government's going to be looker for any donors they can find. If we pooled resources, we could amass ourselves quite a bit of influence in this town."

"Oh, I'm sorry." Oliver replied. "If I ever get thrown back to their time, I'll let them know how you died." Oliver made the first move, slowly stumbling forward. It seemed as though all his strength had already been sapped, and he made a moderate-speed swing towards Fafnir's body.

"Well let's see I either become a gangster lord of one town or blow this place with a 20 megaton blast,to kill off any of these freaks and then go on to broader horizons!" Garret said "Anyways what would you do, kill all the freaks under your command?"
