Oliver ground his teeth. He felt his energy beginning to drain; in its damaged state his suit couldn't pull in the energy it needed to keep him going for long. But Oliver noted that he really didn't care, the only thing on his mind was killing Fafnir. For the first time in months he rejected the energy from his suit and drew on his own power. His new arm flashed and sparkled as a new power source began to feed it. The wild grin from before returned to his lips, as the only response to Fafnir's taunt. The arm converted into a large drill, which began to spin at ludicrous speeds as he drove it straight to the dragon's chest.

Jason would have fallen into the chasm if it hadn't been for Lucifer, who appeared out of nowhere to bring his body to safety. Lucifer then disappeared again, appearing in front of Rachel with his blade extended towards Amaranth. He slowly pushed Rachel back, flicking his head towards Jason while keeping his eyes trained on Amaranth. Nobody could tell of course, since a new helmet had been forged, this one even more menacing then the last.

Douglas visibly grimaced as he descended into the dark basement. "Eet Smells Leke Hell. Fekkin' Hell. Dawn here." He flicked on the light slung under his shotgun. He was treated to a sight of mutilated bodies strung up against the wall "Wit tha..."

"You telling me to go that way, mook? Okay..." Rachel used her powers to stand up and moved towards Jason, keeping her free arm ready to blast Amaranth at any time. "I think your mook buddy told me to see you or something. Does that guy ever talk?" She said, her voice switching a bit more sporadic. Damn it, not much longer until this thing craps out altogether. Hopefully I can take out that prick before that happens, though. She thought, looking back at where Amaranth was.

Amaranth was hiding. That large burst had been completely useless. He looked out over the island to find that it had already started to keep on drifting apart, filling that chasm with water. He looked closely at it, and the water began to bubble and boil. "The hell?" he said as the bubbling became more rapid.

The water bean to spill out everywhere, throwing boiling hot water around the field. "Oh right, Omnisure was built on the ring of fire. Volcanoes..." he said to himself, before realising his mistake and standing up quickly so he didn't get stabbed in the head.

"Um, yeah... You looks easy to kill... Just... Just leave..." he said flatly to his new opponent.

Fafnir leapt back as he drove the drill towards his chest. It proved a bad idea as his legs couldn't stick the landing. He fell on his arse, but was still able to move so he raised his sword, getting ready to block any quick attacks by Oliver.

Just as he was preparing for the worst, the ground started to crack and split open underneath him. He looked down and dived out of the way, just in time for the earth to split completely in half.

"What?" Fafnir said as he eyed down the massive crevice, the bottom was covered in red, and he could feel the heat rising up.

<spoiler=OOC>P.S. That split down the earth is also kinda used as a summons for anyone who wants to fight in this one...
P.P.S Its the last fight, so I would assume most of you...

Molten rock and heat shot up from the ground, all around Fafnir as if to distract him. Oliver smiled and shouted, "Dan! You're with me until the end!" He charged forward again, his energy arm morphing, lengthening to the size of a respectable lance though still spinning with all the energy he could spare. "Come on, Fafnir!" He shouted as he drew close, on the opposite side of the crevice. "You were damn proud before, what happened?! Come on, you've got one chance to prove that you were worthy of killing Renegade, make it count!"

"No, he never talks... I need you to do me a huge favor. I need you to go into the city and find a girl named Rachel. Take her far away from here, and make sure that she's safe... I need to finish what I started." Jason said, struggling to get to his feet. He limped forwards before wings burst out of his back and he flew up into the sky.

-----------------------

Lucifer lunged forward, striking with precision and aiming a large slice that would hopefully slice Amaranth's body in half.

Rachel sighed a little. "How did I know..." She pressed a small button on the side of the helmet, turning off the voice synthesizer. "I can handle myself, Jason. And no, I'm not leaving, this is my fight, too." She said, her voice now clear. I know he's just trying to help me, but I'm not really that bad at fighting. In fact, I've probably fought more times than he has. But I guess I can't fault him for wanting to protect me.

Amaranth sighed as he jumped back, the slice missing him easily. The powerful attack was difficult to stop the swing until it hit something, so as it hit the ground, it embedded itself into it. The ground started to freeze around him, started to freeze up his legs. "Now you be good and don't move" he said to Lucifer as he was frozen up to neck height.

"One chance Eh? Better make it useful!" Fafnir roared back at Oliver. The fool believed that the molten rock and lava where a sign from his dead friend, it might have been, but then his friend was on his side. He banged his fists together, "Magic Point" and shifted into a much shorted version of himself.

He raised his hands and all the molten rock and lava circled around him, forming a bright red shield. The shield hissed off a few spikes now and then, all directed at Oliver. The, the orb moved as Fafnir charged, taking the massive shield with him.

Oliver made a primal shout, smashing his drill straight into the spikes of lava as they came at him. The drill spun with all the energy Oliver could spare, and scattered the specks of molten rock before they even touched him. A few dots did manage to singe his skin, but as far as he was concerned it was a boon, sealing up his injuries when they reached them. Oliver charged again, leaping over the rift somehow unharmed. He turned to Fafnir, his drill spinning once more. "Tonight, I'm telling my son a story about how I slayed a dragon." As fast as his feet could carry him, Oliver took off at a run, driving his drill as far into the ball of rock as he could, attempting to either send the ball of his weapon into Fafnir's face.

As the drill hit his shield, Fafnir sensed that it was breaking through, so he bolstered the defence, weakening the lava beneath his feet, but stopping Olivers attack. After the onslaught stopped, Fafnir moved the ball to the middle of the chasm, trying to push Oliver back there.

The attack however, was only a front. As it was over the chasm, Fafnir dropped out of the ball of fire secretly and without noise. As he fell through the chasm, he found a small cave with he could hide in. Which he did.

He waited in the small cavern until he could gain some energy again, as he controlled the ball of lava from far away, just using the energy left in there to control it, only attacking when he feels a disturbance in the energy up there, usually where Oliver attacks it.

<spoiler=OOC>Okay, well to have a rest. Fafnir dropped down into a cave in the chasm.
He is hiding down there, while the ball is being controlled and acting kinda crazy, since its only beiong controlled by when you touch it...

Is that any better?

Oliver had hardly even noticed Fafnir was gone, sending a massive surge into the ball of fire, detonating it. His managed to burn himself even further, but he didn't seem to notice as he began searching for Fafnir.

Meanwhile down in the small cave, a voice whispered, "You shouldn't be here."

"Yes" Kor answered simply as he scratched the back of his head "It didn't really make me feel any kind of good, usually because I was doing them with humans and they made me go into my natural form most of the time, I had to silence a few friends"
