"Sounds good." Oliver said to Jason, before turning in the direction of the crash. He wondered what could have possibly made the noise, and flew off toward it at max speed. He was beginning to get the feeling that whatever was going on in this town, it was something that would keep him there for quite a while.

"Not quite everywhere," Magus answered, "Only where I've been before... and I have no desire to go back beyond a certain point. So... how does your immortality work?"

"Cool... Oh and yeah, follow me." He walked back upstairs, walked into the kitchen and pulled two mini microwave pizzas out of a fridge. He put the both pizzas in the microwave and, checking that Hive wasn't looking, sprinkled some ground Magic Mushrooms onto one of the pizzas. He turned the microwave on, watching it, then put them down on a table making sure that he ate the one without the grounded Magic Mushrooms on which was now unseeable. Heh heh heh... "Sit down, have some pizza." He cut his into quarters and began eating one of the quarters.

Rachel looked at the man as he approached. "So, someone else come to look at the crash? I think you should ge-Do I know you? You look... familiar..." She said, edging towards the man slightly. Hmm... I know this guy, but from where? Should I be afraid? She kept a close eye on him and kept ready to attack.

"How odd," Magus observed, "I've read legends about this kind of immortality... tell me... do you ever feel like some crucial part of your very being is missing? Have you ever been completely unable to remember who you are and where you came from?"

Enraptured with the demonstration, she looked toward the corpse on the ground for a moment, looking away when they started redressing. "So what happens with the corpses?" Such an amazing power... She moved the finger that had her ring on it, the gold catching the moonlight. Oh, yes, this ass-hat. Well, can't blame him, really. Not his fault. She smiled at him and rubbed her arms a little due to the cold.

Hivemind thanked him and ate some of the pizza. "Mmmm! That was good. Something tasted... off though." He ran an internal diagnostic check and revealed that he had ingested something that he wasn't aware of. "Magic? How are they magic?" He gave Ace a look. "Why are they magic?"

Rachel giggled a little when Xandus kissed her hand. I'm going to kill that son of a ***** one of these days... but I might as well humor him for now. "Thank you, and I've been good. Me and Jason live a little bit away, nice place. I can't seem to get a job, though. But the city pays well for Jason going out and fighting crimes, so..." She realized she rambling a little and coughed. "But, huh, how are you doing? I haven't heard a word about you since the time in the bunker. Got a girl like me for yourself yet?" She asked jokingly, putting her arms at her side.
