Hivemind's mind went blank an he fell backwards onto the floor.
Hivemind's voice spoke out with an odd slightly mechanical edge to it. "Reboot commencing: 10% loading"

Ace raised an eyebrowand looked at Hive. "Thats a new one..." He took a sip from his cola and chucked it at the bin, it went straight in. "Score!!!" He stood up and walked over to the fridge he opened it. "Hey do you want a..." He looked at Hive. "Huh..." He took a cola from it and sat back down, openening it and drinking it again.

Rachel looked at Xandus with a slight bit of sadness. "Well, maybe you'll find someone soon... not me, don't even think it, but someone." She realized that she was digging a hole and stopped herself. "But, huh, anyway, what are you doing here? Got some business, or just showed up by chance?" She asked, hopping to move the conversation along fast.

"Reboot complete. Reactivating body." Hivemind grumbled and pulled himself up. "Ugh... I feel sick. Where's your bathroom?" He rushed off in the direction Ace gestured where he promptly threw up in the sink.

"I take it your nanobots reject drugs then, interesting..." He looked at his helmet. "Hey, you wanna do some crime fighting? Should make you feel a bit better." He stood up and picked up his helmet. "It'll be fun... I'll lend you my jetpack so we can fly together." Ace saw his board and stomped on the end, causing it to flip, he grabbed it.

"Typically. Why not. I don't have terribly much of a charge lef... Oh. Nevermind. I'm pretty well charged." He clicked his hand and a metallic mask appeared over his head. He strapped on the jetpack "Shall we?"

"Yes we shall." Ace put his helmet on, opened the door and walked out making sure to close the door after Hive walked out. He put the board down and stepped onto it then flew off into the sky. "See anything of interest? I see a group of shady guys next to a club but it's nothing to warrant any action."

"I don't see anything." Hivemind looked around. "H.u.d. activate." He scanned the city. He sent a mental link to Ace. "You see anything out of the ordinary? I'm not quite familiar with this cities layout." He looked over at him. "What's this?" He gestured to a cluster of dots on the H.u.d.

Rachel gave a quizzical look at Xandus. "Hmm, strange to go to a city just for a few restaurants... but I guess it's not a bad place to visit." Rachel thought for a moment. "Say, Xandus, want to stay with me and Jason during your time here? It would be nice to have some company over, and Jason could always use some help." She said. She crossed her arms again. "At the very least can we find somewhere a bit warmer to talk about this? I'm getting cold..."

"Yeah... Let's go check it out." Ace flew down to a cluster of dots, what he saw was a crowd of citizens surrounding a small boy who was presumably homeless due to the state of his clothes. He also had strange markings that appeared to be birthmarks on him.
"Kill him!" One called out "Kill the demon child!!!" Called another
"Hey, what's going on here?" Ace said, distressed at the scene.
"Hewp me pwease mister..."
"Alright everybody! Get out off here now leave this poor kid alone."
"But!"
"No buts! Leave the kid alone!!!" The crowd began to dispearse and Ace flew over next to the boy. "You alright kid? What's your name?"
The kid wiped tears from his eyes, upon closer inspection he seemed to be only 7 or 8. "I'm alright thank you... I don't have a name, atleast I don't remember it... Everyone just calls me Demon Child."
"Why? Why do they call you that?"
"Cus..." His birthmarks began to shine. "Of..." He went transparent and glowing. "THIS!!!" He ran to a nearby car, pushing Ace away, and walked into it. Not through the door but into the car itself, disappearing. Suddenly the car started and drove towards Ace
Ace flew straight up, dodging it. "What the hell?! What the HELL?!"

Cameron finished putting out the black fire and slid down from the roof of the house slowly. He detached his plate armour and put the heavy pieces into his backpack. He walked out of the neighborhood onto the street when a car flew by him Cameron managed to dodge the car and looked around. There was a man floating above it. "What are you doing up there mate?" Cameron asked calmly. "That car yours?"

Oliver was flying over the city towards the site of the bang, but looked down to see the hero from before, Green Ace, and a car speeding towards him. He heard shouting from a crowd of people, and from the Green Ace himself. As the young hero flew up, Oliver shot down past him, his energy arm creating a massive fist, which he drove down onto the car.

This idiot is probably thinking that I want him right now... Rachel thought. "Sure, Jean." She lifted both herself and Jean into the air. "Now, I hope you're okay with flying." She said before flying both of them to her house. As she touched the ground, she took out her phone. "Jean, go on inside, I'll call Jason and tell him you're here, okay?" She didn't wait for an answer and called Jason immediately. I hope he picks up... I mean, he's answered while in fights before...

From the car appeared Demon Child again, flying from it. "Only blood can satisfy me... This is what the world did to me..." He went through Oliver and landed behind him. He ran forward into a truck which drove towards Oliver.
Ace stood there, motionless. "How does a kid... His age... Turn into a killer...?"
