Minus sighed, lowering his right hand and raising his right at the same time. His left hand was a luminescent white colour. Each flame that moved towards him, he just put his left hand out, each flame that hit it, disappeared as it touched his hand. After all the bolts had gone, he raised his other hand and stated. "Reject.", causing all of the flames that Dren had fired at him, to be returned in one large energy blast.

"You hide behind your spells witch!" Dren roared as he rammed the blast with his shield. The blast hit dren back a few feet. "Fight my like a man!" Dren said as he Charged minus again

Rachel flew into the air and grabbed Jason and flew over to him, nearly crashing into him in the process. "Jason, be careful. Don't run in and get killed, okay?" She kept him int he air until he could fly. She started to charge a blast to launch at the man, should he be paying attention to somewhere else.

Minus swished his left hand around as fast as he could. As Dren neared, he pointed his right hand at him, "Reject". As he said that, a massive gust of wind went roaring from his hand, pushing him back, and trying to slow down or blow Dren away too.

"Um, guys? What do we do?" Ashe asked, hoping that one of the others would have come up with a plan by now.

The burst of air pushed Dren backwards and as he was sliding back wards his thrust his sword into the ground to steady himself. "DEMON I HAVE NO TIME FOR YOUR TRICKS!" He yelled as he charged again

Magus looked sideways at Umbra, who was suddenly standing next to him. He muttered a brief incantation to hide his uncharacteristically blushing cheeks from her.

Then Magus turned his attention to the fight between Dren and Minus, observing with some stifled laughter as Dren appeared to be losing.

Magus said nothing, instead, he focused on drawing off of the nearest power source to restore his "mana pool".

Minus sighed again, this time, he just pointed his hand down, and a metre long blade fell from his hand and was caught and brought up just in time to block one of Dren's swings. "This is fun" He exclaimed at Drens face, before pushing his sword away, trying to push him back.

"Indeed mortal!" Dren said as he pushed his strength down onto the blade while pushing energy through it in order to burn through the blade.

Magus quietly wondered how anyone shorter than twenty feet tall could wield a meter-long sword that effortlessly and without losing an arm in the attempt.

I need to shut out all distractions, Magus thought to himself as he attempted to draw power to himself, I need to... I wonder what Umbra made of my gesture... no... can't think about that right now, I need to focus.

It was useless. Magus couldn't think about much else than Umbra right now, which puzzled him. As far as he knew, this was a sign of a powerful infatuation with her... which he couldn't explain at all... even to himself. He had just met her... and yet... It feels as though I've known her for half of my life...

Once again, Minus laughed. He reached forward and grabbed Dren's blade with his left hand. The flames died down quickly, all of the energy running through his blade was gone. It started leaking out into his own blade, letting his blade be coated in black fire and start trying to burn through Dren's blade.

Dren's sword, being indestructible was not harmed by his own flames Dren withdrew his sword and tried to slam Minus with his shield

Magus ran a quick calculation in his head, and decided that if the fight continued, then there was a chance that Umbra and himself would be destroyed. Odd... I don't usually think of anyone else's survival... let alone before my own... Damn it! I need to focus!

"Dren, Minus," he called out to the combatants -knowing that he as about to regret drawing their attention, "What is there to be gained in either of you fighting each other? Minus, why did you bring us here?"

Magus continued to draw more power to himself.

Minus jumped back, moving out of reach from his shield. "Finally, Magus talks, You were always my favourite." he said as he pressed his blade against his left hand and it quickly pushed all the way into his arm. "The reason you guys are all here, is for 2 reasons. One, is to try and convert some of you to my side, before anyone else gets to you, and two, too kill anyone who doesn't join me. Simple as that."

"What side is that, exactly?" said Magus suspiciously, "If we are all so much weaker than you, then what could you possibly gain from converting us?"

Dren looked at minus and hesitated. "You are strong... I would gladly join you" Dren said

Umbra was unfocused on the other supers in the room, instead focused on the boy of the hour. What was he saying?

"I have been your rival for the past... 7 years now... For you, that is I should have been your rival in 13 years."

What... Minus seven, carry the ten... Is he saying he's from the future? Like all the non-berserker others (and was she ignoring him for now - though she couldn't fully suppress her anger, as her clenched fists would show), she was waiting for a moment - probably till the black knight was dealt with. Umbra watched the two fighting in the moonlight, anger tempered by the blanketing darkness. Then, he spoke.

"What side do you speak of?" she asked. Knowing now it was recruitment of a sort, she relaxed a bit - Shinobi had taught that some employers had odd methods. "And who would we be against?" Seriously, I want to know what this is about. /color]

"Converting you or stopping you all, that would make my life so much easier. You have all been a thorn in my side for the past 7 years, not letting me do anything I wanted. Killing you know when you are all weaker will be so much easier." Minus said, trying to still act calm about all of this.

He looked at Dren, "Good, I knew you would. It was always good when You came out, not like that annoying Cameron."

"Aye" Dren said as he took a postiting at Minus' side

"Aside from not dying," Magus said, "What's in it for us to join you? Why are we rivals in your time? What would joining you entail?"

I just have to keep him talking long enough for me to recharge, though... who knows... maybe...
