Minus sighed heavily. "Surely you can't be this dense? If I kill you all now, who will stop me when I am growing up? This will make my entire life easier, and save me getting killed later." he yelled, becoming annoyed at the group.

He stared Coldly at Rachel, "Yeah, you are not going anywhere." he sighed heavily again, "I am going to count to ten, if you don't have a desicion by then, I will kill you all..." he trailed off, then closed his eyes and began to count loudly. "1! ... 2!"

Ashe looked at the girl named Charmer behind him, and gripped his sword. "Don't worry, I have a plan... Names Ashe by the way..." he said, before slipping away from her and moving over to the larger group. "Can anyone provide some firepower? I could help us get out of here?"

<spoiler=Avoulence>lolwut? Um sorry but that post is about 10 minutes completley in the past... Since we are all already in the room, You were already hit by the orb and are in the future with the rest of us...

Magus looked sideways at Umbra, and for some reason he found that he felt that he needed to do something he never felt a need to do before: he needed to ask someone else what they thought of this before he could make a decision for himself.

"Umm..." Magus whispered to Umbra, "What do you think? Do you think we should join him?"

Rachel looked at Jason for a moment, then back to Minus. "Fine, I'll help you with whatever fucked up plan you have, so long as you don't Jason and Jean." She kept the shield up, but backed away from Minus. She came close to Jason. "Jason, sweety, just do what he says. Don't be a hero." She whispered. She heard Jean and didn't have to worry about him not going with Minus, but she just wanted both of them to be safe.

"Umbra," Magus whispered, "Whatever decision you make, I will follow."

This isn't like me... what the hell am I doing? Why the hell am I letting someone else make a choice for me? Why do I even care? ... Then again... it isn't as though any of my choices up to this point have been that great either...

Magus unconsciously tightened his grip on Umbra's hand slightly, just enough to give away the panic that was starting to set in.

"I'm not join you. Never. My science will NEVER be used for evil methods, not on my life. So strike me down right now, I tell you now though, I will kick. Your. Fat. ARSE!!!" Still having his backpack full of goodies he reached into it. "In here is the newest tech I have made, some of it too inhumane to be used normally hence why I test it." He pulled out the Air-katana and got into a defensive position. "Then there's my board, I'm sure you're familiar with how much arse it kicks."

I didn?t have time to check everything this morning I'll read through everything but for now could someone give me a quick catch up please?

We've been taken to 20 year into the future by a Super Villain named Minus who future us have fought for 7 years. He says we either join him or die, and we have 10 seconds to make a choice.

"Is everyone finished?" Oliver asked, a little frustrated at the whole thing. "I don't know what Minus' plan is, but I can tell you right now that whatever you're trying won't work. And I pity you so much I think I'll tell you why. First of all, gathering us all in one place was just about the dumbest thing you could possibly do. Second, I can't speak for the newcomers have beaten enemies that could wipe the floor with entire armies. Thinking you're any different is frankly a little sad. Finally, let's give you the benefit of the doubt and say you manage to kill us all. How long do you think you'll last before the rest of the Renegades track you down?"

Jason backed away, the flames around him dying out. He looked at Rachel, dumbstruck, wanting to believe he had not heard he say what she just had. Jason backed away before walking over to Oliver and sighing.

"You think that joining him will protect me? I wouldn't join this Minus freak in a million years. I have already betrayed my friends once, and I won't do it again. I stand by Oliver, I will fight Minus to the end if that's what it comes to." Jason said, glaring up at Minus, a dark hatred boiling deep inside Jason.

He'll... he really trusts me to decide for him?... Umbra felt the grip on her hand. He really has no idea what to do... Well, I won't let my decision kill him. Besides, we were apparently brainwashed by the other side, so.... Umbra spoke her decision with confidence. "If what you say is true, then you've already given us something Paragon didn't." She stepped forward, her mask now illuminated by the moonlight. "I'll work for you." For the time being, anyway. Betrayal can always follow.

Magus relaxed slightly, I'm not sure how I really feel about this decision either way, but whatever she decided works for me.

"I will join you as well," Magus said.

Magus loosened his grip on Umbra's hand to let her know that he was starting to calm down. Whether or not this Minus can actually be trusted remains to be seen, but let's see where this is going for now... live another day.

"Wait." Oliver said, looking at Umbra as she stepped forward. "Don't be so hasty. I don't know who you are, but hear me out. You've heard this Minus talking, and I think it's plain to everyone here that he's not right in the head. Before you two make your decision, think about this: he's already mentioned he intends to destroy the world when he's done with it. Even if you don't like me, or want anything to do with me, your own instincts of self preservation should tell you that he's bad news. I'm not asking you to join the Renegades, and I'm damn sure I'd never brainwash anyone. All I ask is that you reconsider, and at the very least stay out of it."

His little speech done, he stepped forward between Jason and the Green Ace. His entire body was glowing with a bright golden energy, and with a trick he'd picked up a year or so ago magnified his voice into a booming, commanding tone.

"Stay out of it, because I'm about to teach this punk why you don't mess with the Renegades, and if you know what's good for you you'll stay out of it." His arm converted itself into a sort of large harpoon. "Let's see you repel this."

He fired the weapon with all of his might. He knew it wasn't fast enough to get a hit in, but he didn't care about; all he intended to prove was that there were attacks that were strong enough that Minus couldn't risk them connecting.

"Can we at least get out of this first? I mean, if we are in the future you can just ask yourself. Your future self I mean." He looked at Oliver. "Look, we need to blast out of here. We should meet up with our future selves, I may have possibly created a time machine that can get us back. We can deal with him when we get back, in fourteen years for us. We can prepare for him and beat him easier. He'll probably be weaker then."

Magus looked at Oliver, and then he looked at Umbra.

"I think its too late for that," he said.

I may not not be sure of Minus, but somehow... I just get the feeling that if I stick with Umbra... it'll turn out all right.
