The man in the black hood was still smiling. Two incredibly large people walked in dragging an almost skeletal person across the floor, up to where the man stood. One of the large men growled towards him, "Minus, He here".
Minus's smile went wider, "Excellent, leave him here for me" on command, the two bulky men dropped the man and walked away.
Minus chuckled, And placed his right hand on the man on the grounds forehead. He began convulsing, but muscles and fat began growing back onto him. The twitching died down, and now a normal if not fairly skinny man lay on the floor. "Use your powers, or die. Its your choice."
The man scrambled back, but as he got a few feet away, Minus raised his left hand and pointed it at him, "Remember what this does?". The second minus pointed at him, his eyes went wide, and started making small symbols with his hands and a faint chanting noise. 13 small blue orbs crackling with energy began to float out of his hands, then move to the other side of the room. "Yes, Yes!" Minus exclaimed.

"Okay look, this guy was a super villain, I brought him to justice, me doing this was a" Ashe managed to say before he was interrupted by a strange ripping noise next to him. He turned his head quickly, to see a small blue glowing orb right next to him, one was floating next to Ana in front of him too. "The Hell?" he asked himself, trying to get a good look of the sphere.

All around the city, small orbs appeared in front of all of the Heroes, each one tearing through space and time, then just floating next to them, making a light humming noise, and occasionally a crackling sound.

Rachel let out a small scream as the orb appeared in front of her, but she calmed down as soon as she saw that Jean and Jason both had one in front of them as well. She immediately pulled the fire-poker to her, however, and stabbed at the orb.
As Cameron reached out for the rob, a massive spark lurched out, hitting him in the hand, causing a large shock up his system.
Same thing happened to Rachel, the orb sparked out, causing electricity to run up the fire poker.

Rachel dropped the poker and grasped her hand after it was struck with electricity., crying out in a pain for a second. She inspected her hand and found a small burn where she had been holding the poker, but figured that it wasn't bad. "I'm... I'm fine." She said after a moment. She clutched her hand and looked at the orb, waiting for anything to happen. What is this fucking thing? It sounds mechanical, but that felt more like a shock from someone with powers than one from a fence or something...

The white fire that surrounded the orb disappeared quickly, leaving the orb untouched.

Minus looked at the orbs lining up at the other end o f the room. A few sparked with energy, one shot out some White fire, and the other some light energy. "Excellent. Ready the Transfer!" Minus yelled to the man still chanting and making hand signs, even though he was only a few metres away.

Cameron backed away form the orb as it grew closer. "Back off mate" Cameron said as he sliced at the orb with his sword.
Magus grabbed his staff back from Umbra and dropped his disguise.

Rachel created a shield around Jason and herself. She felt a large amount of pain coming from her hand. Ow, ow, ow, ow! This fucking hurts! But... I can't let this thing hurt Jason. Whoever sent this thing is going to pay...
"I'm sorry," Magus whispered into Umbra's ear -the force field dropping as he stops chanting, "I'm out of power, there's nothing more that I can do to stop that orb from doing whatever it is that its going to do."
With that, Magus hugged Umbra and kissed her cheek awkwardly. Magus looked into Umbra's eyes with a look of complete terror on his face.

"Rachel, get out of here... I'll see if I can find some way to stop this thing." Jason said, standing up and moving so that he was in front of Rachel. In Jason's palm glowed a bright orb of black flames that seemed eager to tear into whatever it was that was in front of them.
Rachel stood up next to Jason, but didn't move beyond that. "No, Jason, I'm not going to leave you to be killed by this... thing." She said, covering the Jason with the shield again. "And don't attack it, all it did was shock me." She added.
