"I am so sorry," Magus let a few tears escape his eyes, "I had no other choice. I needed to figure out where you might be safe, and I needed to take away some of the pain for you. Its my fault that I had to do that... I'm just shitty with talking to others."

Magus handed his staff to Umbra.

"If it will make you feel better," he said, "Hit me."

That'll have to be addressed when we have time later. Right now we need to calm her down... Umbra looked at the two hesitantly, unsure of how to deal with this. "We're all trying to get home... We're sorry we've had to do this, but it's the only way we can return." Internally, Umbra was doubting the words would comfort - she hoped so, but comforting others wasn't her strong point. She accepted the staff, waiting to see what would occur.

Rachel stayed back from the two. "No... no, just... just let me go. I... I only want to... to go." She was visibly shivering by now, and her hand was shaking violently. Even if she wanted to, she doubted any attack from her would either be wildly off target, or do so little damage it would hurt her more than the man. "Just.... just let me leave. I... I can go to... to the base of... of the Rena.... Renagades." She tried her best to keep her hand centered on the man that entered her mind, but it was t no avail. She felt like someone had violated her, and all thinking about it did was bring back even more painful memories, memories of a life now lost.

"Its good to know that I still live at least. Well if Rachel is no longer here, then I have no need to be here any longer." Jason said, turning to leave, his wings spreading wide open and ready to take off.

Jason walked over to the ledge that he had just entered, and appeared to be ready to take off into the sky. With the knowledge that Rachel wasn't there anymore, Jason could finally travel to Eurasia with Oliver and the others. Jason took off sending dust up into the air behind him as he angled South.

Umbra took a step forward, leaning down, desperately trying to calm the woman down. "We only wanted to get you back there..." From a certain point of view "We never meant for anything like this to..." Why did something like this have to happen? Magus, what did you do...?

<color=darkred>Minus looked at Dren and Jean, then shook his head. "Why the hell do i even have guards if people can just get past them anyway!?" he asked his new comrades. He sighed heavily, "Oh well, better start the preperarion for raiding them."

<color=green>Ashe sighed heavily, he looked at the girl he was holding. He tried to wake her up, but she didn't respond. "We should try get and get to head quaters." he said to the group.

"You can go anywhere you lie," Magus told her, "I'm sorry I had to go into your head, but I needed to know a safe place I could bring you. We were just trying to save you from being executed on Minus's orders. We were never keeping you here in the first place."

Well Umbra... All I did was replace her memories of my Sanctuary with memories of us escaping to here... then I erased all knowledge of me digging around in her head. Then, as I left her mind, I left her with the strong impression that we had helped her... which seems to have backfired. Can't risk getting in her head again.

Yeah, sorry, Dragon, I was trying to just get back to the base. I'm still not really sure where I am right now, but I can figure it out.

"Just.... just take me to Eurasia. I.... I can go to a safe place from there." She still kept her hand focused on the two, at least as well as she could, and watched them. I can at least find refuge there. No one will try and get in my head like here, no one will try and kill me. I can at least be safe there... I hope. She stayed where she was, waiting for them to take her there.

Hivemind turned around frantically. "Where are we? Seriously! Where are we?" He called out for the third time. He slumped. As usual nobody wants to talk to me... I guess I'm something of a subfreak... He looked around.

Dren took the pill and grinned. "This is what I am talking about" He said "Anyways, do you have an armoury?"

"We didn't tie you up," Magus pointed out, "You've been free to leave anytime. If it makes you more comfortable, we'll follow you to Eurasia. Which puts us at your mercy."

Sorry Umbra, but I think every extra bit of power over us that we give her, the more at ease she'll be.

"No, I... I'm going on my own. I... I just want to know where we are so I know where to go." She slowly stood up, a little uneasy on her feet. She slowly edged for the door, keeping one hand towards them. "Tell me where this door leads and I will leave you two alone." She said.

"You tell us," he said to her, "We're outside, this is where I traced your connection with another to... I guess we had just missed him. I think we're sill in Bright Grove. I imagine that whoever you share such a powerful link with went back to find you and rescue you."

Magus placed a hand on Rachel's shoulder to comfort her.

"I'm sorry" Magus said with genuine regret, "Truly I am. It was never my intention to harm or distress you. Go on. We'll find our own way."

Get ready Umbra, I placed a tracker on her... its different than the one I placed on you... this one will not show up, and will harmlessly destroy itself once we all reach our destination. I think you're better at following people than I am. All I can do is nudge you in the right direction.

Understood. Umbra waited for her to leave. About a mile of her movement after she left, Umbra would begin following - using Geoff's directions to follow when obstacles obscured her view. Since she had the directions, Umbra could afford to be even more stealthy than usual.

Rachel ran for the door as soon as she heard they were outside. She took off for the air in a jump after exiting and flew off towards the airport. She had been to Eurasia several times in the past few years, and knew the general direction once in the air. In a few minutes, she had her barrings, she flew off at full speed in the direction of Eurasia. In a few hours, she could be a the HQ.
