"The hell?" Aidos answered, "Why would you need me for this? My powers don't relate to breaking trances." he answered, keeping up a sarcastic tone. He crossed his arms and started tapping his foot.

Ashe tried hard not to start laughing and call him 'grumpy' from Snow White. He looked in the other direction towards Ana, and the rest of the group. He flashed a smile towards Ana, but didn't speak, afraid his mouth would betray him and say something mean.

Hivemind calmly walked behind the group as he gathered his thoughts on what just happened.
"I have to say that Helicopter was really smooth. Wonderful handling... What did you guys think?" He asked politely to the others in the group, hoping for not completely negative responses.

Alright, sorry, I went to Pax East on Thursday, and I basically slept through Monday, so sorry for not posting.

Rachel looked at Aidos and, now that the villagers were gone, looked very angry. "Listen here you whiny little fuck, you're either helping us or I kill everyone in this entire village, including you. I don't care if you don't want to help us, you are, or you die. Chose now." She stepped close to Aidos and waited for a response.

Lewis watched with interest when the woman spoke to the dwarf like man.
Maybe they are as bad as I have been told. But do I really want to kill the 'good guys'?
He stood slowly out of the shadow and silently walked behind them, not making a single sound.
Now I wait for them to notice. Then it happens.

Ana looked at Ashe as he smiled at her. He looked as though he was hiding something, so she slowly approached him, gently grasping his hand and letting her aura seep around it in an attempt to calm him. She looked up at him with an empathetic smile, her blue eyes sincere.
"Something's on your mind? ...Are you alright?"

"Good luck killing e before I send you a few hours into the future, where I calmly wait till you arrive then blow you up" Aidos responded. He took a step back and to orbs of pure white formed, covering his fists. "Who do you reckon is faster?" he asked, "Now, if you're polite and tell me what you want, I might actually help... If not, you all die." Aidos responded flatly, not taking the threat lightly.

Ashe let out a small snort, still holding in the laughter. He coughed to try and cover it, and looked at Ana, "I'm fine... just thought of something funny." he whispered to her. When he heard Rachels threat, and saw Aidos reaction, he pulled out a few speed blades, holding one in each gap of his knuckles, in case someone tried something stupid.

Ana was a little hurt by Ashe's reaction, but she guessed it must have been a joke or something that someone else had done. She dropped her hand, scared that he was laughing at her.
"Ashe I have to tell you something..." Ana was cut off as Ashe moved to pull out swords defensively. She raised her hands and let energy flow from her to create a shield around herself and Ashe. She was surprised that she could actually see the shield, it was thin, sheer and had a white glow which matched her aura, but it had never happened like this before. Ana was so shocked that the shield began to flicker. She shook the surprise out of her mind, reminding herself that she needed to be strong and the shield stabalised.
'My shields aren't this strong... How is this happening? Since I woke up after the attack at HQ, I've been healing people with no resulting injury and now this...?'

Lewis stepped back slightly when he saw the shield. His path towards the renegades was still shrouded with shadow, but when he stepped back, one of his arms entered the light. With a quiet gasp he pulled his arm back. He hoped desperately that no one would see him.
He decided to ignore the barrier and continue forward anyway. He eventually got up close. He stood straight and still behind the rest, trying to blend in, knowing that someone would notice him, but that was what he wanted.
Now I let them decide whether I attack or not.

So I haven't been attacked. Yet.
"Slayer." Lewis said quietly. Being the first thing he had said in a while, his voice sounded quite old. He wasn't a man of many words. "And who might you be?"

Lewis didn't reply straight away.
Why the fuck is this guy being this way? How does he know I wasn't sent to kill him? Well I was, but I don't judge a group straight away.
"You'll find out later."
Lewis meant what he said. If he sided with them they would find out, if he attacked them he would find out.

"We need you to take us back in time twenty years so we can kill Minus, or at least make him not kill everyone, and you're the last person alive who can do it. You can even go back here once you bring us back, because-" Rachel heard Alex talking to someone and drew her gun, turning around. "Freeze! Stay where you are, and tell us exactly why you're here!" She shouted, aiming at the figure in the shadows.

Lewis slowly turned his head towards Rachel. He grinned ever so slightly under his hood. He disappeared with a weak flash and re appeared again in the shadows.
"I mean no harm."
Yet.

 

[Vesuvius Hetlan]

Hivemind held up a hand to Rachel gesturing for her to back off. He looked back at Slayer, watching him quietly. He strode forward and took the man's hand in his own and shook it.

"Pleased to meet you... Slayer?" He had a questioning tone in his voice as though he hadn't heard it right. "Anyways I'm Hivemind."

"Yes. Good." Lewis said quietly. He stepped out of the shadow and looked at them.
I'm no fool there are too many to fight now.
"OK. If you don't mind, I'll stay with you. I'm lost here."
He waited for a response.

Okay smaug is taking a long time and I'm getting left behind in this story, so I'm gonna go ahead and put that whole fight in the past so I can transport Cameron and I to the heroes. If smaug wants, he can pm me or go in chat and we can make a flashback to end it.

"Not this again!" Aidos yelled out, "I cannot go back in time to stop Minus. It would fuck over the time line, and most likely kill us all!" he continued yelling, ignoring the new comer and the fact that he had no weapon other than a man with some knives out, but that looked to be useless.

"5 Dollars says he does move and takes a few sentences to explain why he is here. It's usually our luck with these things..." Ashe whispered to Ana. He was initially mesmerised by the shield, he would need to remember to say good work to her after this.

"Oh, how very selfish of you." A voice rang out, in response to Aidos' comment. A figure in dark armor entered the room, his hands politely crossed behind his back. "You are both wrong, and right, in your assumption about the timeline. Is it incorrect to assume that those who went back in time would be spared from the existence-erasing wipe?"

From somewhere to Aidos's side, Umbra turned a masked face toward the new newcomer. "Okay, who are you?" she asked, melancholy in her voice from being forced to give up her flanking ability. With two new appearances now, I doubt my knock-the-dumbass-out plan would work anyway.

Ana turned towards the new threat, subcontiously moving to stand in front of Ashe. It appeared as though she was becoming protective of him. She allowed her shield to retract into her, but allowed the power of it to remain in her forearms, causing them to glow an iridescent white.
"Ashe, I feel as though something's off about this guy... His aura seems deceptive, like he's hiding something..."
