Sequels generally.

What's that?
You're someone who thinks sequels aren't a genre?

I see.
F**K YOU, BECAUSE I MOST STRONGLY DISAGREE.

Sports games, why the hell go play a simulated game whilst you can go out and do it yourself? I don't see the point in simulating a stupid game in which 22 dumbasses run after a ball and when they finally have it, they kick it away.
pretty much my philosophy when it comes to sports games

Simple as that.

What is your least favorite gaming genre?

Mine is fighting games because even if you master all the controls, moves, attacks, characters, etc. You can still get your ass kicked by someone mashing buttons.
I haven't been beaten by a button masher before. Don't really see where this is coming from...

I don't like sports games. I see no point when a person can just go and play that sport themselves.

I would say sports games however the NHL series from 07-10 has seen a remarakble overhaul, especially for a sports game. Granted this year was more your "patch job" than the previous years however it is a surprising aspect when a sports game is not a simple clone. Of course it helps I adore hockey.

I suppose puzzle games. Fighting games come to mind although I enjoy them provided they do not become Serious Business [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/SeriousBusiness], where mashing your controller like a chimp could allot for complete domination over a player who has spent hours practicing.

Never fancied my intrigue towards MMO, although I briefly enjoyed FFXI, the tediousness inevitably wore thin. I simply cannot immerse myself within them primarily because the vat majority support a team concept, to the extent of punishing or restricting solo player (ala FFXI) which is my preference.

I wont condemn an entire genre, because some games will be good - but if I had to choose? stealth. I love it. I'm just awful at it.

Sport Genre. Serves no purpose except to release the game every year with stats updated, new guy on the cover and number year. And buy it for a full price for 60 USD.

Glorified Gaming Adverts. In exception would be Spider Man 2 and Hulk: Ultimate Destruction.
Who would want to play Harry Potter the video game when the book is better?

Sports games are usually the genre I tend to avoid. The NCAA football video games are alright but besides those it gets pretty boring. Racing games bore me.

My least favorite would have to be sports games. Just not interested in re-creating sports games in a virtual world.

Three genre's in order of priority to destroy from first to last:

Sports Genre: What the hell is the point in paying 60 dollars to do something you can go outside and do for free, and you're good enough actually get payed to do?

Rhythm Genre: See sports genre, except add loud, annoying, and seems to attract douchebags (see my high school class)

Movie/TV show games: Yeah there's a good one now and then, but considering how much of them turn out to be the bastard son of satan, it's one of those condemn the whole vs save the few things.

Mumorpurgers, 1 on 1 fighters, and TPS's. The only game I love of the three genres listed here is Soul Calibur 2. I know there are classics in all three genres but I just don't like any of 'em. Not even games like Mortal Kombat, WoW, or Splinter Cell (that was 3rd person, right?).
