Kakuna. Crappy if you catch it wild, crappy to fight, and it's a cocoon. Named Kakuna. It's... uninspired. I prefer Metapod, though Beedrill is pretty badass.

Aww, come on, guys. Quit picking on gen 5!

OT I'd say Mr Mime. I'll never catch one or evolve Mime Jr because how retarded it looks.

How has this not been mentioned?

Eggxactly!

I always found found Exeggcute and Exeggutor to be so creepy(in all the wrong ways) and awful looking. It looks like a gang of eggs. And the whole idea just seems odd and unfitting with most of the rest of the original 151 Pokemon. And really shows some of the nostalgia goggles some people have when ridiculing those 'newfangled pokemans' in comparison to the "oh so superior original 150".

The original 151 had their own oddballs, too. And I like many of the new Pokemon better than many in the original 151. Certainly not all of them, but many.

The majority of the gen 1 pokemon had lazy designs but SEEL takes the cake, it looks like a seal and its called SEEL, how more lazy can you get?!

Eggxecute and Eggxecutor, especially the latter, psychic egg tree fucker, I just really dislike the design.
Jynx.
Mister Mime.
Snubble and it's evolution.

My least favourite gen 1/2 are either unoriginal or just plain weak. I think gen 1 has more "bad" pokemon though. My least favourite? Seel.

C'mon Gamfreak, you didn't even try with this one.

Also as someone mentioned, Unown is also really lame.

I will also give a special mention to Pinsir, not because it's a terrible pokemon, but because generation 2 made pokemon that Pinsir should have been in the first place.

I love heracross, i'd love to see it have a steel evolution.

I'm just going to list my least favourite from each generation:

Gen 1 - Doduo / Dodrio
Gen 2 - Unown / Hitmontop
Gen 3 - Nosepass
Gen 4 - Rotom / Probopass / Magnezone
Gen 5 - Cryogonal / Klinklang

Thanks to TeamFourStar, every time I see a Jynx, all I can think about is Mr Popo... *cries*

Out of Gen 1 and 2, I think my least fave would be a tie between all the "baby" pokemon from Gen 2... Elekid, Tyrogue and Pichu aren't bad, Togepi, being totally new with it's own evolution/s I can forgive, but Igglybuff, Cleffa, Magby and Smoochum just seem like they were made because the designers couldn't be bothered to think up something new so they felt the needed to add them in to make the whole egg thing as a worthwhile edition to the series. They just seem so pointless...

It gets a bit better when it evolves (especially in its last stage)
I'm not going to argue with your opinion on Tympole, but...

...how could you ever say this is an improvement?
lol, I don't know why, but that picture of Seismitoad immediately made me think of the "Annoying Childhood Friend" meme.

OT: I've never been a fan of Diglett or Dugtrio. The design looks like a shit-stained Pac-Man ghost, and how the hell can that thing learn cut!?

Thankfully, I love Bulbasaur enough to forgive Diglett's design :)

You know, I'm only 15. My first Pokemon game was Sapphire, although I did watch my brother play Crystal.
I really like gen 3. It's my favorite. Then gen 5, which I also really like. Then gen 1, gen 2 and lastly gen 4.

So I can't speak through nostalgia glasses, really. I say all gens are equal, save gen 4, which can burn in a fire.
Gen 3 and 5 have some really badass mons, and their general feel/environment are awesome.

Because Exeggcute is awesome, and one of the more clever Pokemon names :p

Now what do you all think of...THESE Pokemon!? (I think some of these are actually pretty fun...)

For some reason Voltorb with Mankey's limbs just tickles me all sorts of pink.
OMFG DAT WAILORD! Can't stop laughing!

OT: Staryu, Jinx, Mr. Mime, Chinchou, Dunsparce & Corsola to name a few.

I hated Arbok and eakins because I hate snakes.
I also did not like ditto because while I like the CONCEPT of a pokemon being like silly putty, the actually uses of Ditto is just so ugly and terrible.
Slowpoke, while funny, was also one of my least favorites.

The best argument for cross breeding mechanics.

This is almost entirely awesome.

There was a game called Jade Cocoon, made me wish Pokemon had hybridizing.

My hatred for Voltorb knows no bounds. It's a pokéball. Pokémon.
Which. Is. The. Entire. Point. Of. Voltorb.

It's Pokedex entry stressed this.

"Usually found in power plants. Easily mistaken for a Poké Ball, it has zapped many people."

"It is said to camouflage itself as a Poké Ball. It will self-destruct with very little stimulus."

"It was discovered when Poké Balls were introduced. It is said that there is some connection.
"

"During the study of this Pokémon, it was discovered that its components are not found in nature.

and my favorite

"Voltorb was first sighted at a company that manufactures Poké Balls. The link between that sighting and the fact that this Pokémon looks very similar to a Poké Ball remains a mystery."

It is very likely it will eventually be revealed that Pokeballs were made to look like Voltorb and not the other way around.

At least lore wise.

Worst in the first two, eh?

Also, a friend of mine REALLY hates these two for some reason:

As for the BEST, well, it's a toss-up between these two, I think.

As for my favourite of the new ones, well...

I bet you'll never guess what my other favourite is.
