Least Favorite Pokemon Gym Leader

Oh god that Miltank, I destroyed that poor little thing, but my brothers friend... I remember that night vividly, the amount of swearing was incredible, he fought her at least 20 times before he could beat it. I lol'd so hard at him.

But for me, the 8th badge in HG/SS, also, the dragon league champion. I am currently stuck on him because there is no where I can go to train my stuff up to be around his dragonites level.

Dude, I had a fucking Quilava and beat her no problem. Also, I'd say Chuck and his God DAMN YOU YOU TO FUCKING HELL PoliWrath. When I got to him, my party was all in the mid 20s...needless to say many losses and 8 hours of grinding followed. But after my team were all level 30 or so, I raped him and Jasmine hard.

Her damn Dewgong raped my entire team...

I use Charizard (Fire beats Ice) but the fucker uses Surf.
I send out Dragonite, try a Flamethrower and get insta-killed by Dewgong's Ice Beam...
Took me months to beat her...

Brock in Yellow...Or Clair in G/S/C/HG/SS, she is always a pain, especially that stupid Kingdra being only weak to Dragon moves...

I had trouble with both Whitney and Morty in my first run through of SS, then I had to restart (Game was stolen) and decided to try a new team...Scyther was replaced with Pinsir...Whitney was no problem due to Pinsir learning Revenge, Brick Break, and Seismic Toss...Morty was even easier due to teaching Pinsir dig...Yes a Ground move against pokemon with levitate...It works due to the amazing ability Mold Breaker...Swept him taking only one hit from Gengar's Shadow Ball and still living...Pinsir is a MONSTER...

Wattson from Ruby and Saphire was an utter **** >_< I chose Muskip as my starter meaning Wattson would always floor it with one fucking Shock Wave. you know... The Swift of the electric types AAAARRRRGGGGGHHHH!

By that point in the game your Mudkip should be a Marshtomp which is half Ground type and is immune to electric attacks.

I made quick work of all those ppl but flannery my first time thru, but i had just raised my blaziken(JUST, everyone else was like lvl 5 zigzagoon, lvl 2 poocheyena, lvl 10 ralts, lvl 4 taillow)so she owned my ass with magcargo.

That's why you train your team equally. Never rely on one Pokemon to win the whole game for you. Besides, Blaziken is completely useless against the eighth Gym in Hoenn.
Also, drop the Zigzagoon and Poochyena. They're both weak-sauce. Like, diet mayo weak.

I would say brock in Special Yellow Pikachu Edition way back in the 90's because it was so hard getting pass him with the basic few pokemon you caught with pikachu.

Whitney is pretty rough; I didn't have any problems with Morty because I'd bred an Espeon (from Pearl) with Shadow Ball that just tore through him.

Roark in DPPt was pretty hard if you picked Chimchar to start, because the only other Pokemon you'd catch all had Normal-type moves, and Rock Smash is mediocre at best. His Cranidos was pretty beastly considering he was the FIRST gym leader in the game. On the other hand, if you have Chimchar up to Monferno, it'll know Mach Punch which makes his gym cake.

Honorable mention goes to Jasmine. If you don't have a good Fire-type (like you missed catching Vulpix/Growlithe) her Steelix will DOMINATE you.

If we're counting E4/Champions, though, the one I've always had the most trouble with was Cynthia. If you don't have a good ice attacker her Garchomp will slaughter you and her Milotic is obscenely tanky.

Cynthia. Her team was better built than Steven's or Gary's. The champion from hell.

Definitely. Lucario, Garchomp, Milotic - all really, really rough. She's also my favorite champion, personally (great design and music), but that is one nasty team.

I've never really had a problem with any Gym Leaders... Whitney's Miltank was simple to beat 'cuz I, on my SoulSilver playthrough, caught a Heracross in Azelea.

My least favorite, however, would probably be Volkner, Pryce or Koga. They're just so... Ehh. I was never a big fan of Ground-types, so I don't usually have something good to get him with, and Pryce is... Pryce. He just doesn't appeal to me. Koga and his Minimize/Double Team is annoying, and I hate it, but that's only because it's effective.

I never really liked Bugsy either. Mostly because he SUCKED, and I couldn't exactly tell if he was a boy or girl... Let's see... I had some trouble with Clair, but that's 'cuz I was trying to level up my (AWESOME) Skarmory. In Kanto, I always picked Bulbasaur, so I never really had any trouble with Brock, but I hate him because Charmander is the coolest of the three, and him and Misty discouraged anyone from picking him... Speaking of which, Misty's Starmie. It's quite overpowered for that point in the game. I've had a bit of trouble with Chuck, as well, but that's 'cuz I didn't have a good Flying-type. Sinnoh's the only region in which I use the early-game Flying-type. Staraptor is a beast.

Oh, I almost forgot NORMAN. The jerk. And Tate & Liza. Had some major trouble with those 2 battles.

*EDIT* Also, I almost forgot. If we're counting champions, CYNTHIA. Her pokemon are severely overpowered. They are all high-quality sweepers and walls. Worst of all, all of her Pokemon have PERFECT IVs. 31 in each stat. Yeah. It's that bad. Luckily, my Empoleon can barely survive one of her Garchomp's Earthquakes and hit it with an Ice Beam most of the time.

I don't actually remember finding a gym too though, but then again, I do grind a lot. For example, in both Diamond and Platinum, I had already evolved my starter before the first gym. And had a Staravia.
I probably did have trouble in the first and second Generation, but I can't remember that far back.

also, on the topic of Cynthia's Garchomp and Milotic, they aren't that bad. Took Milotic out in two with a Pachirishu (lvl. 63), and got Garchomp with Dialga (lvl. 56) (Roar of time is a fun move). If anything, I found her easy.

I've fought Whitney on three different games and have never once seen her Rollout sweep. On my last playthrough(SoulSilver) her Miltank never even used the damn move despite our battle lasting a decent number of turns. I guess I just get lucky every time I face her.

Jasmine can be annoying. Beating Steelix before Quilava learns Lava Plume is rather hard. Claire's Kingdra is frustrating as well. Red Gyarados swept the rest of her team with Ice Fang. But of course Kingdra is neutral to that. And Discharge from Ampharos.

Including the Elite Four, Lance annoys me the most. Gyarados was my only pokemon with an ice type move and he(and all my other pokes) were underleveled, making that fight particularly difficult. I failed a few times before I taught Lugia Dragon Pulse and even then I barely beat him.

For me its Whitney and her freaking Miltank. I don't know if its just me but whenever I fought her both in Gold and Soul Silver Miltank did nothing but Stomp which caused flinching more then half the time and Attract which took care of anytime Stomp didn't work. Top this off with how if Miltank got down to 1/3 of its health or less she uses a super potion makes me want to curb stomp her until it stops being funny. Which it wouldn't.

Rollout. It would hit first whenever i fought it. It was supereffective against everything it seemed and miltank was faster than my level 29 Quilava! When a pokemon fainted and i brought another in rollout would insta kill it before it had a chance to fight. Needless to say when i brought my onix to level 25 and let it take the miltank out i was pretty brutal.

I hate her so much. I wish a thousand deaths upon her.
