I can't tell Sony doesn't give out numbers.

Let me guess this straight; a sequel on a different console that you most likely don't have would stop you from playing? Or how about it not OUT yet? Or training on the PS2 while wait for Confrontation?

What I still don't get is why a statement of fact would be taken by people as flamebait.

Regardless of the intent (or the validity of the statement), the way the OP has phrased the post moves this from neutral to flamebait.

What I'm saying that fans of SOCOM would be likely to have a Ps3 by the time the Ps2 port comes out, and would be more likely to buy that version (as there would be more people on it). Remember, the console versions will not be released with the PC and Mac versions, but probably more near the fall of western civilisation (and they will be released in Australia about a week before the end of time itself).

What? No, I mean the Ps3 version of Spore. And for those 120 million, how many do you think were actually connected to the net, and how many of those are still used as the primary console?

Hmm well there are what did the press conference say 3-4million PSN users? Well to equal that would require less than 3-4% PS2 owners to be online.

Well since there are more PS2s than PS3,360,and Wii combined its defiantly happening in a at least 45 million households (unless some prefer Xbox,GCN or previous consoles as their main).

The only strength the 360 has are its exclusives and maybe price if people don't add up the costs. Those are the only reasons someone would pick it over the Ps3. No, seriously, what other sensible factors are there?

Achievements. Quicker load times. Xbox Live marketplace. More people online (idiots or otherwise).
Ask someone who owns both consoles which console they will buy *non-exclusive game X* on, and they will probably say Xbox 360.

Whether you agree with them or not, you can see that people might at least believe in them enough to buy the console.

So what if it's an exclusive? You don't have to look at what those judges like more. I like Mirror's Edge more than LittleBigPlanet and Spore. I mean, LBP seems awesome, but really, all you do is just go around with a cursor, build things, and then you're sack boy walks around. The game has no awesome story, no stylish or bloody combat, no comedy in it. I am sure it will bore people pretty quickly. It is just the pre-launch hype. But Mirror's Edge is just purely awesome. You are being chased etc, the tension is awesome.

I would've put Mirror's Edge to all of those systems, X360, PS3 and PC.
Oh, and alot of people on this forum should get their fuckin own opinions, not humiliate theirselves and the console by just liking all the games everyone else likes.
