Original is not a 1 and 0 status thing - it comes in varying degrees. They probably felt that Mirrors edge was MORE original than Fable II.

Ok, and if they were voting for best game, that makes it a lot clearer, doesn't it. I was actually trying to help you guys save face, you realise.

I'm saying they're comparing games which aren't out yet to say which one's best. Most people can see this is ludicrous, but not people like you who will use anything and everything as ammo in your constant battle against anything other than the PS3.


And if being original is not a 1 and 0 thing, why do you find it so easy to classify: sequel=unoriginal, non-sequel=original.

By the way, since when do you insult someone in order to help them save face?

Dude, I've seen videos, I just don't have a vested interest like other PS3 owners, nor an actual interest. And the way that Indigo has been acting hasn't been filling me with interest.

I find a bit sad that something like Mirrors Edge is chosen as the most promising 360 game.

To me, that title is more hype than anything. It's not like jumping & running over roofs & walls in linear maps is a new and original idea. I might even say it's a 1st person view rip-off of Prince of Persia.

The only strength the 360 has are its exclusives and maybe price if people don't add up the costs.

You don't seem to get my point here.
The judges do not care if you get the message that PS3 games are better, they're just there to tell what games are best on what console.
They don't care if Mirror's Edge is not exclusive for the 360, that has nothing to do with anything.

That has everything to do with it. Once again, the simple fact of the matter is that, in their opinion, the best game you could get on the 360 is not as good as the best game you could get on the PC or Ps3.

Okay indigo, I've tolerated you before, but seriously just shut up.

This does not mean anything, this just means that in their opinion Mirror's Edge was the best in show for the 360 and LBP was best in show for the PS3. this does not mean that LBP is better than Mirror's edge or vice versa. For all we know, Fable 2 could have had a crappy section and they didn't play it as much as they wanted to.

Just stop it, and don't give me or anyone else any excuse of anything, just shut the hell up.

You might wish to check out my posts defending Pc gaming and the Wii. Its not "everything that not the Ps3", its just the 360.

And don't be idioitic - the judges did not just sit there and look at an empty box - they actually took the time to weigh up the factors and innovations surrounding said game.

Fair enough that you only hate the 360, but I have never seen you defend either of the others, so how would I know?

Ah well, to your other point then; no I don't think they just looked at empty boxes, but there is something rather integral missing when it comes to judging a game, ie. the game itself. You can weigh up factors and innovations all day long, but at the end of the day you're still making an assumption as to what they will deliver.

But at least I got a smile out of the irony of spelling idiotic with four i's.

You suggest that Mirror's Edge cannot possibly be more original than Little Big Planet, basically because they say so. So while you may think that it's just their opinion, you also believe that their opinion is of course right, and therefore everyone else is wrong. Also, I have gone over all your post and not once do you use the word opinion. Ok, so there's one post on the award being what they 'feel', but that's one post. And you still seem to have decided that they have a divine ability for prediction.

You only see me really defending the Ps3 because there aren't as many PC or Wii bashing threads as there are Ps3 bashing threads.

There aren't any PS3 bashing threads! You just start as many threads as possible by attacking the Xbox 360, and when someone decides that attack is the best form of defence, you become defensive. I am starting to wonder if you're a paranoid or something...
