Lets END the Console WAR!!

Every single time COD make a report about their mapPacks coming out first on the xbox360, or Gameplay footage shows xbox game-play instead of PS3, instantly that video gets flooded with responses about why (****) is the best console, and the other is junk! and all that!

What I want to know is why so every one get so upset?

Both the Xbox 360 and PS3 are good console, both have good points, and bad;
saying one is complete junk just because it dose not have support X, or Play X, dose that make it junk? No, that makes it Not For You!

and then their are those people who say "well, I have both and the (*****) is defiantly better!"
Good for you! You bought two consoles and Like one better.

Personally for me I got an xbox360, because my friends had it, and I wanted to Play online with them, (and also for halo, until I actually played it, and now regret buying it)

I mean think about it, they both have different things goo about them, they are setup for different people!

it would be better if at least they could come up with better arguments..

-no good games (just writing what I hear.)

how ever they both have some other nice features, like the PS3 Web browser, or Xbox's ability to Save Games to the Harddrive (or boot from Flash drive/memory card)


The main Question is why the big fuss? it's just a game(console)!

I don't see that many people complain about the consoles. Yeah, people are butthurt about Blops, but it's not Treyarch will make it ONLY for XBox...

I would disagree, however thats subject of opinion and also depends on the game in question

I prefer the PS3 since I have a PC and between them thats every game I could ever want to play, however I don't mind if others play or like the 360 as long as they don't pay the PS3 out, otherwise I shoot them down quite fast for being dooches.

OT: Ok, in all seriousness, it's all opinions. Also the fact that people are trying to justify their purchase. "Console wars" seems to be getting a bit redundant these days since a lot of games (Main focus of a console IMO) are mainly multiplatform, save for some exclusives to each console and earlier DLC. The way I see it, exclusives seem very illogical since multiplatform rakes in more money, good for the developers (And greedy corporate executive), good for everyone else since more people get to play it.

Not in a million years, when the xbox 1080 and the playstation a million gets released there will still be miles of fanboys defending their favorite system on all the forums, starting flamewars and bitching about how Halo fifty fucking thousand is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY better than Killzone fifty fucking thousand.

Basically just try to ignore the console war and move on with life, you won't risk as many brain cells that way.

On a more serious note. Most normal people aren't like this. It's mostly fanboys and people who spent all their money on one system so they feel they need to defend it if anything negative gets said about it, or if another console gets one thing their console didn't.

I see both consoles as equal. I call bullshit on "better graphics". The obsession with "graphics" is getting out of hand and to me "graphics" are just becoming another gimmick. Instead of solid gameplay in games everyone criticizes graphics and minor bugs, which explains why there are so many shitty games coming out.

But I digress,

Lets debunk what's there
X-box:
No Blueray - Well obviously, its not Sony right? But really how many of us buy bluerays. Maybe as I got older I started to shy away from consistently watching movies because my life's gotten busier, but if you're a big movie buff and want perfect resolution, ok we'll give you that one.
$$$ for online - isn't a big deal, the price you pay is pretty miniscule and frankly if you can afford the system and if you can afford a dollar a day you can afford online play. I frankly don't play online, but lets get passed that.
Only FPS Games - I have to disagree on that, there are plenty of RPGs and Racing games, not just FPS games
RROD - I haven't heard of the RROD since the Xbox first came out, I've played for hours and hours on my xbox and NEVER RROD'd, thats just another weak cry to try to "prove the x-box sucks".
Bad Graphics - Not exactly. Buggy at times yes but not bad, and like I stated earlier, graphics arn't everything. Its because we focus so much on graphics instead of gameplay that games are getting shittier by the day.

Also;
No Built in Wifi - Yeah, ok that sucks.

PS3:
No Good Games - Aside from the occasional (good) exclusive X-box and PS3 have the same games.
Terrible Online Play - That depends who you ask. I don't have trouble with online play on my PS3 (I don't play that often, but when I do I never had many lag issues). It is free, so you can't really complain that much.
No Party System - Yeah that sucks if you play a lot of online and you like to party up with your buddies
Took out LINUX - Ok.. Really... If you want a computer, get a computer. It's a gaming console. I remember back when people put Linux on their Ipod Mini's... for what I ask?? It doesn't cost much to run a damn Linux box you can put it on any cheap computer, that's a redundant argument, it's a gaming console not a PC.

That's like me complaining that I can't use my bathtub to make soup in because I have no means on installing a heating source.

As I can see most of these arguments are subjective and nothing more. Just fanboys doing their typical Rage&Whine as usual.

Does it really matter this much? I have a 360 and it is the shit. My cousin has a PS3 and it is the shit. They are both great gaming consoles. Now what we should be talking about is how terrible the Wii is.

Umm... No it's not. While you're right about the specific game mattering, by and large, 360 versions of multiplats tend to look and perform better than their pS3 counterparts.
