I get what you are trying to do, but spouting misinformation helps no one.

I have consistently found Playstation Network to be more lag free and mature (playerbase-wise) than Live. That is within the parameters of my own experience, so I doubt it holds true for everyone, but I am pretty sure that the PSN is at least the same quality level as Live.

Playstation has plenty of games. The only time it didn't have games was right at launch, when NO console has lots of games. The PS3 had a shitty launch, but seriously, "PS3 haez no gaems lol" is soooo 2006.

Party system is undeniable, as is the Other OS, but I will say that the Other OS makes zero difference to 99 percent of people who use the thing (legitimately, that is).

PS3 games can also be saved to the hard drive (more like forced to, really)

PS3, as memory serves, also has memory sticks games can be saved on.

But really, all of this proves your original point. The console debate is a perpetual state of headbutting a brick wall. All consoles (I really can't talk about Wii because I don't play it...ever...) are essentially the same, plus or minus some graphics chips or third party support.

The 360 has the more powerful graphics chip therefore it usually has the "better graphics" however the difference is minimal and generally isn't noticeable unless you study screenshots or something.

Umm... No it's not. While you're right about the specific game mattering, by and large, 360 versions of multiplats tend to look and perform better than their pS3 counterparts.

I've seen multisystem games on PS3 and Xbox and generally prefer the PS3 version as its normally sharper and more crisp, tho some people say they prefer the xbox one for the smoother looks, its an option not fact. If you prefer the way the xbox renders then thats your opinion, its not a fact.

I prefer the PS3 since I have a PC and between them thats every game I could ever want to play, however I don't mind if others play or like the 360 as long as they don't pay the PS3 out, otherwise I shoot them down quite fast for being dooches.

It also ranges from game to game. Some games just seem to be made for certain consoles, and other games for the other consoles. Some are pretty much exactly the same.

This topic is pointless though, it's not prophetic news that people aren't aware of. People aren't going to be swayed by this, and what's more, it wasn't even put together well enough to really make me feel like it could, it just seems like it was slapped together (for instance, that attempt at a pros and cons list of both consoles is just pathetic).

My stance on it all? I prefer PS3, I have all the consoles, but I have my own preference. Everyone does, fan boy wars need to stop but so do these topics acting like fan boy wars are still a big plague on us all.

By the way, did anyone expect him to talk about the game End War?

I don't know if it's the case here, but for a lot of games that perform better on the 360 than on the PS3, it's because they built it for the 360 then tried to port it over, which loses some sharpness in translation. Again, I don't know if that's the case for those games.

Technically speaking, the PS3 is capable of better graphics than the 360, due to slightly better graphics chips. The problem is that developers had a hard time working with the PS3, especially if they were making it for 360 as well. Games that were made specifically for the PS3 look amazing, and are cited as some of the best looking games ever (See: Uncharted 2, Ratchet and Clank Future: A Crack in Time, or Killzone 2).

So not really a fault of the console, just an odd complication with developing for it.

And there are many amazing looking 360 games out there, I just have a hard time playing mine since it committed suicide.

-Ps3 has no gaems <- see what I did there

While if I had the money, I'm the type of person that would own all the consoles of this generation (I only have to get the PS3 to complete my collection), the war gives people something to do.

I think truly at heart, most gamers want to have every gaming experience out there. Since most people only have the money for one or maybe two, people are going to harp on the thing they don't have. It's not that they regret the decision that they bought the wrong console(what system fanboys like to believe), it's that they envy people for something they don't have yet.

Though it doesn't mean that people's points on trashing competing consoles are all invalid.

I admit that I'm guilty of some fire throwing in the wars, but I don't throw it without valid points to back it up.

Example: Nobody is going to change my mind that the PS3 is trailing way behind the 360 and Wii. Just because they might have improved the Wii's stick waggling, doesn't make them better than the Wii. Also, I seriously believe that Microsoft was tired of the Nintendo and Sony prancing about with their motion controls, that Microsoft released the Kinect much earlier than they were looking to, to just shut the other two up.

Also, motion controls and improved 3D are the wave of the future. Deal with it people. To the people that will try to complain about my stance on MC and 3D, I say...Holodecks. Works every time to stop people's mouths complaining about MC and 3D.

Exactly, but also from what I've heard the PS3's split RAM (256MBx2) is considered harder to use than the 360's unified 512.

No Blueray - Well obviously, its not Sony right? But really how many of us buy bluerays. Maybe as I got older I started to shy away from consistently watching movies because my life's gotten busier, but if you're a big movie buff and want perfect resolution, ok we'll give you that one.

Well, the PS3 games are on Blu Ray.

Blu Ray disks(double layer-standard) can hold 50 gigs of information, where DVD(single layer-standard) can hold 4.7 gigs of information.

I think that the Xbox360 not using the Blu Ray format is really hurting console games. Imagine how many more features our games could have if developers didn't have to try to squeeze everything on to a DVD for games made on both the Xbox360 and the PS3. We'd see longer single-player campaigns, more maps, more weapons, more customizations, and loads of other features.

That said, very few PS3 exclusives make use of that extra storage, with Metal Gear Solid 4 being the only one that I know of to use the entire 50 gigs.

But the point still stands. If they didn't have to squeeze everything on to the DVD, we may very well have more content in our games(developers willing, of-course).

Nope. It has many good uses. I was able to buy back old games that I lost ages ago. (I don't care what people say about emulators and roms, I rather play them on a console. Besides, I rather take my console to a friend's house than unhook my computer and transport it in its gigantic box.) It has some awesome games.

Yeah, I like my 360 more, but the Wii isn't terrible. It is good. It does what I need it to do. If I had to improve one thing about the Wii, I would have Nintendo overhaul the internet surfing capability. Its capability is in the Stone Age compared to the abilities of computers today. (I don't know if they improved it yet with any updates, but the last time I used it, it only had the flash capabilities of Flash 7.) The only thing it is half good for is watching Youtube videos. And that is only useful when you don't have an internet connected computer sitting next to you.

Ending the console war means one basic thing everything is on the PC period. The PC is gonna become the only way to game in the future and I hope so because fuck buying three consoles when I can just update one PC.
