I give you Banco Del Mutuo Soccorso, an italian progressive rock band: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w5rHiJVEQU4

And then there is Eloy from Germany, one of my all time favorite bands: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AbNGYqLXvXk

Sigur Ros is an alternative rock band from Iceland. They do some really nice stuff, and I'm generally fonder of their softer, melodic works, like Milano or Svefn-G-Englar.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sWiJWLiSKro

-This was performed by Perlan Theater Group, comprised entirely of people with special needs/mental disablities (that being said, don't pay attention to the comments). It's quite beautiful, simple and intense, all at the same time.

Watch the whole thing.

Sigur Ros is amazing......

And, if I recall correctly, Labyrinth got to play her purple violin with them once.......So lucky......

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QftcWXObrOc&feature=related "pool party" by the aquabats, with a fairly well done sync to various Peanuts movies and such, mostly the great river raft race.

Well, lets see.. two groups to mention.

First is Gogol Bordello
SuperTheory of Super Everything [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zOWx5G76pkU]

Basically they are a Gypsy Punk band, formed in New York back in 99. I rather like the instrument work in their stuff, plus the lyrics are always great.

Jethro Tull, which is prolly my favorite of all time.
Said she was a Dancer [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mmBt_0ngTPE]

They are a British rock group that formed back in 67/68. Great musical work, showing influences from blues, jazz, and folk work they are usually listed as 'progressive rock'. Best known for the song Aqualung [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QqZmtq5LhFo] Tull has had a very successful career despite generally being frowned upon by the critics. Not sure what all to say about em, other than they have a very unique sound that is worth checking out.

Edit: One more Tull song that I love We Used To Know [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=93pKLKA1Vnc]

Goblin, and Italian rock band, did a great score for Dario Argento's Suspiria. The theme is quite literally one of the most nightmarish pieces I've ever heard. It's one thing to sound creepy, but it's another to sound totally deranged.

The Living End

This is the only band that helps me relax, which is the favourite way i like to feel. Also, their solos are awesome AND instead of having someone play bass, they have someone playing the contrabass.

Rammstein is one of my all time favorite bands, they originated in East Germany in the 90's and have gone on to become the #1 german language musicians in the world. They tend to write songs about odd things such as hermaphrodites, cannibalism and incest, however this song is a parody of right wing people and dictatorships as a response to being called neo-nazis.
Good song.
My favorite band is PAIN, Peter Tagtgren's industrial metal project. Though Peter is better known for his death metal band Hypocrisy, PAIN is more in line with my taste in music. Peter writes, performs, and produces all the parts for all his songs.
This song has similar themes to the Rammstein song you posted, though it isn't quite the same style:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rzcm-f91XAk
This one has strangely catchy chanting vocals, like "Links 2 3 4". It may be my favorite song by Peter.

This. If it wasn't already posted I'd share them as well.

Other than that, I'll change genres and recommend the Spanish metal band Dark Moor.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XvuMM63P_2Q - The song 'Eternity', which should give you the feel for them.

The Andrews Sisters are a trio of sisters who were most famous around the 1930's to the 1950's. Their first major hit was Bei Mir Bist Du Schoen(To me you are beautiful), which was originally a Yiddish tune which was translated into english for the sisters to sing. They are noted as one of the most succesful female groups, and have sold more records than the beatles and Elvis.

Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy - The Andrews Sisters. A personal favourite of mine. [http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=-wiVkdVPGoY]

Flogging Molly - Drunken Lullabies

The Los Angeles-based post-grunge seven-piece Flogging Molly are an interesting mix of traditional Irish music and spunky punk rock.

The song is a little slow to start, but don't worry; there will be music eventually.
