It's not these people who are "changing the government" as you say, it's actually this administration that is changing the government (for the worse IMO). These people are standing up against what they perceive as a hard left shift and the further wrecking of our Republic (Bush was even more guilty of this than Obama, both of them are worthless), and I can understand why these people are doing this. Then the Republicans bitching about the nutjob who said that the Republican plan for health care is 'die quickly' and using that to portray the entire Democrat party. Tell me honestly if you believe the government, who were beat badly by Walmart in terms of helping Hurricane Katrina victims, could provide this service or any other service that is 'universal' without corrupting it or fucking it up in some way.

The two definitely have some similarities both being totalitarian forms of rule one with the government controlling industry and fascism not being so stringent on private businesses. I find this wiki page to have some good points.

I have one word for you genius, Medicare. I also have to point out that every Federal employee enjoys some of the best health care provided by any organization in America.

One, the USPS gets the mail to every one just fine. yes, I know they are having money issues, but that does not effect how they deliver the mail.

Two, you would not be forced to get the Universal Health care backed by the Federal Government. You could keep you private health care plan just fine. Why? Because private health care companies are still going to be doing business just like they ever have been. The only difference is that they would actually have to compete thus lowering prices for those that choose to keep privately backed health care. This is how it has happened in just about every nation that has Universal Health Care. Why do you consider tht a bad thing?
