If a child runs around and hits me, ofcourse I'll give him a smack on the head or push him away. That is if I weren't in on it. But I can't say I have any love for small children but it's the way the parents have been raising them that makes the child the way it is. The child thinks it's OK to go around and hit people becuse his/her parents havn't made it clear to him/her that it isn't OK! Remember that for small children their worldview reflects that of the parents!

Ever wondered why you hate children?

It's because your soul died and their joy whistles through the void it used to fill like wind through a rusty septic tank.

And there you go.

Mothers this, mothers that. Mother's fault all the time. Never mind that Australia's leading anti-mature games guy is male, and America's leading anti-mature games guy was also male before he got disbarred.

Funny, there are two sides to parenting if you want to do it proper. It's unfair to blame the mother for everything.

Sounds like you're a bit of a misogynist, boyo. :(

One thing ive learnt is that sometimes a smack is needed, if a kid misbehaves then something bad is gonna happen and this is gonna make them think twice about dicking around.

Eg, I have a 4 and 5 yr old brother and sister, when they do something wrong we put them in their room. A few months ago, when they got put in their room, they start screaming, throwing shit around and hitting the door, generally being little arseholes, so we whipped out the spatula and problem solved.

"Have you ever tried turning off the tv, sitting down with your kids and hitting them?"

Of course, some people are just not fit to be mothers. Like those ones who push their baby's pushchair in the middle of the road before crossing themselves. I see it all the time and i want to smack the parents.

But... but... they are sooooo tasty!

Well, on the topic of child discipline. I wasn't hit much as a child, not because my parents where not able to do so but because I knew they would! There was more then a few times when I step over the line and they carried out their threats but knowing it was there ensured, clearly, that I didn't do all the stupid crap I see kids getting away with these days.

Oh and I am told, I don't remember it, when I was informed they couldn't smack me I went straight home and held it over their heads. The response? They handed me the phone and told me to call the police, to have them come and take me away if I didn't like it. I didn't say another word about it.

OT: This isn't abuse, it is a bit of pain that shows that the kid is not in charge. Trust me, I was raised this way...
That is still illegal, you do know that?
The only legal time a parent can hit their kid is if they ask for it or if they hit first, and then only to take them down
"Take them down" probably isn't the best phrase in this situation. Unless the mother spent some time in the armed forces. :D

"Mommy, daddy, can I ----"
"TAKE HIM DOWN DEAR! DO IT NOW!"

:D

After seeing TWBB, I think all children need to be locked up.
This is true.
So very true.
I meant to have ask, what is TWBB?
There Will Be Brawl. The reason he says that small children should be locked up is because... well, I'm not going to spoil anything, but it's on TWBB's final episode.

Yes. Err...not sure what to say here, of course there are bad parents in the world. Punishment is often crucial to learning, and is not distributed enough etc.
