Children can be annoying, but give them a break. You were such a kid once too. There's something very wrong in parenting if it comes to any kind of violence.

But if there is one thing more I hate then small children, it is incompetent mothers.

Why do some mothers feel the need to ban violent games? Because they were to incompetent to check the rating.

Why do I get constantly kicked on the plane by a child? Because, even after I asked her nicely to control her child, she doesn't say anything.

Why are many small children absolute monsters that think they can do anything and not get away? Because the mother was not willing to punish them, and now the damage is done.
And don't give me none of this "It is wrong to hit the children" sense. In some ways it is, like to get out anger and frustration. What we shouldn't be afraid of a doing is a good smack on the back of the head for when they misbehave in public.

Incompetent fathers do the same thing. Or, y'know, they get drunk and beat their families. Just like on Sesame Street.

I think Vodkainferno is right in that parents do need to take charge when it comes to disciplining their kids. A lot of parents (not all) don't punish their kids when they do something wrong and that can really mess the children up and make them think that everything they do is okay.

As for the hitting of the children I think its fine as long as you don't over do it. I mean don't bruise and scar the kid but give him something that gets the message across.

I think you have it wrong. I love humanity, the thing is, I find that people suck.

Why is that? Kids are great.

They can be little fuckers but so can anyone else in the world. There are more good children than there are nice adults (at least from my experience.)

I dont really mind younger kids, talking to them can be a trip sometimes. Other times they are overactive nutters. I guess in the end no I dont like kids. I am dreading the day I must reproduce.

To the mothers and fathers out there, why suggest "So im guessing you've never had kids then" when we loathe them. There is absolutely no sense in creating something that we despise.

Well in all fairness that's like saying "I love pizza" and then saying "But as long as it's not meatlovers, or ham and pineapple, or supreme, or cheese...". I mean what humans can't be considered people?

Oh and just for the record I love kids. Sure I'm only 14 and I've been stabbed by one (Don't ask...well I was sort of stabbed, it just sounds more interesting) have to sit next to the noisier ones on aeroplanes almost all the time, They can be annoying at times and yes some parents out there let their kids do whatever the hell they want. But I dunno, there's just something about children I find nice. They make their own fun, like Ray Romano says we need to be entertained by other things. They're so innocent, they see no evil in the world and most commit to none. And they have this amazing way of seeing the world from their own perspective that just fascinates me, to which I have fond memories of spending long summer days when I was much younger staging epic scenarios in backyards with friends, just spending a few hours living in a world not my own.

And what's so bad about people (From a rough stab I'm guessing you mean humanity as in it's basic form, and by people you mean members of society)? Sure mankind is guilty of some awful things but hey, we've done amazing things too. Every day people continue to do amazing things, and it seems like in this day and age those deeds go unvoiced. You can't sit there whining about how bad people are, because in that sense you're doing bugger all to change that.

Why don't you just pick 'em up and hold 'em upside down? It doesn't hurt, but it still scares them if you do it long enough.

Personally, I don't really like small kids either. They, on the contrary, seem to like me... Very much so.

I have a 3 year old brother and he is the most polite, courteous and downright cute human being on the planet.

In short: It depends on the kid, and it depends on the mother.

And I am with you. Some of them are little shits that do need a good smack over the face.

I think I came off in the wrong way. Yes, I detest being around small children, mostly for the fact that now a days, all I see are little monsters. Small children can be fine, but lately all I see are monsters. And I rationalize, the people who should be teaching them social ways, are doing it wrong.

Ever worked at a daycare camp? Every kid acts like a saint, except now some of them have a phobia with glue and I can't sprint away from all of them forever. I remember having so much energy when I was really little, but now I feel jaded, and I'm going to say that again in each interval of ten years.
