True nuf' cheating ain't a tactic but it says a lot bout the sad little individuals that do it. Camping doesn't really bother me GRENADE B!@#%! Typically weapons aren't noobish even the newb tube serves a purpose, but weapons can be unbalanced like the models from mw2 cross map kills w a shot gun BullS@$t. Quick scoping varies by game in some it takes decent skill others were the aim assist basically puts it right were u want it, thats bad. dolphin diving when the hitbox issue occurs is really the same as clipping into a rock other wise its cool like in Blops were u actually do a cool dive.

This is true, Grenades and flash kinda mess up campers. Plus I think they're missing out moving around the map flanking and covering your pals is a lot more fun.

Having played FPS's on both console and PC, i'll have to say matchmaking. Nothing like shooting some dude, stabbing him, then dying, only to find out on the replay that none of that happened due to your connection being slower than the host's.

Camping is not noobish, or unfair in anyway, it is using a proper tactic of war and if you can't find a way to fight back against it then it's your own issue, everything else I agree with (depending on what you mean by noobish weapons)

By noobish halo weapons he is refering to the Sniper/Shotty combo.

uh what? the noob combo, is the plasma pistol+rifle, that is the death combo that is very easy to have walking around every map with ridiculous amounts of ammo for it. if you aren't anywhere near some kind of corner/pole immediately you will be hit by the auto lock and die near instantly after it.

Pro Piping is not noob toobing, The newb tube is so newbs can get into the game and feel semi-useful. I use it for room clearing. It also works for camper-killin. So yes legitimate tactic but pro pipe seems to refer more to the halo reach grenade launcher.

I've gotten servers shut down for banning use of it, and it takes skill to properly aim it to hit where you want, it takes skill to time it right to hit someone in the open.

Umm, could argue that chat spamming, or mic spamming could be unfair, as they distract other players from the game.

The "mute" button can fix that so I don't think it counts.

In that case, there's a way to negate all of the other tactics, the quit button.

OT: You know, I usually spend a lot of time in TF2 avoiding these so called unfair tactics. I actually played a bit of Halo and didn't really find it to be as bad as they say. Every time I was killed I looked back on that moment and saw that it was a legitimate kill.

Whining about 'camping' doesn't hold water for me, I mean the guy has a sniper rifle, what the fuck do you expect him to do? Perhaps he can just run around and shoot anyone he sees with it. Oh wait, THATS not fair either because he's just quickscoping you.

If you're more focused on how unfair the game is rather than enjoying it I think the best solution is to just stop playing.

It can be used in a newbish manner like just using it to one hit kill people when you should be using the gun. I will try to keep my bad grammar from offending you but being condescending and such tends to make me mad. Please just try to be polite about it. I'm sorry for my outburst.

you could say that about every single weapon, besides the fact that most weapons don't have SPLASH DAMAGE and they aren't a basic one hit kill unless in their very specific form, and once again, you have to directly HIT the person with that specified gun.

you've gotten servers shut down? their own servers? pah, yeah, fun fiction is fun, they don't just ban it because they feel like it, when weapons/things are banned in games, they are for certain reasons.

So basically you hate anything that kills you? Nothing is really considered "noobish" unless you take it in an offensive manor. Honestly, I have never seen a hack or glitch in a shooter. Also, your "Noobish" Weapons is more of a "Weapons that get the most kills", I'm certain that if you use it enough and get enough kills people will say your assult rifle is "noobish" as well.
