Did this confuse and sicken you?

It did for me, and that sums up what I think of that cheer up there.
after 4 secs i saw that it was a little girl, srsly who the hell would want their kid dancing in that outfit to that song...some people shouldn't breed.

edit: breed not bread, stupid mistake.
Those outfits were WAY out of line. I love the song, and I have no problems with it (in fact, I think encouraging girls away from current trend that once she goes out with a guy more than once, she is now "his", rather than having the freedom to explore other options, is a great thing.)

And those girls did have incredible talent. But a more modest costume that didn't draw attention to their chests and rears and didn't expose the midriff would have been more appropriate.
well i dont have a prob with the song, i ment how they dance to said song.

Yeah, good on the Mum, she did the right thing. That's fucking creepy especially for a 6 year old. It's not even a well done cheer anyways.

As others said, Pedobear seal of approval :3

They shouldn't bread either, or eat any other type of food. Yep, slow death by starvation sounds just about right for parents who sexualize their children like this.

And FWIW, I have a daughter around this age, so I think I have a valuable perspective to share here. It's not just a bunch of "internet randoms" who think this is inappropriate and exploitative. This sickens me, and I would not allow my daughter to participate in such a thing.

None of this disturbs me.

People are so sensitive and prudish. Perhaps harboring secret pedophile tendencies in private, so they feel the need to openly criticize in public? Just like how some of the most vocal anti-gay activists have done in the past?

Go girls! :D

I was a cheerleader for about 8 years. I gotta say, as far as I can remember, I had no racy cheers, but some that made the football players look us over :/

No, starvation isn't ironic enough. They deserve be put in these tight clothes and have them get tighter until they asphyxiate. Sounds cruel, but seriously. Children. No.

Incredibly disturbing. I think the mother had it right, and if she had any sense at all, she'd pull her daughter out of that program as quick as possible.

How is being repulsed by the blatant sexualization of children sensitive or prudish? I agree that there are many situations like these where people need to grow a thicker skin, but this situation in particular seems kind of universally reprehensible.

They just do the dance that is in the real video. Really, it's just the costumes that bother me.

racy? i don't get it. and she probably shouldn't get kicked off for something her MOTHER said. and why are they cheering anyway? they are 6 years old! do they want EVERY girl to be a stereotype now? because it seems to be working.

That's some creepy NAMBLA shit there.

What makes me chuckle is the idea that anyone who respected women would encourage their daughter to cheerlead. I mean, is it really that necessary to gain social acceptance in an American school that you have to cheerlead?

Ok... this is a bit awkward...

At first I thought she was being some unreasonable "I DON'T WANT MY CHILD TO HAVE ANY CONCEPT OF WINNERS AND LOSERS" kind of things... but really?

They are having SIX year olds say THAT?

REALLY?

They see NO problems with THAT CHEER?

REALLY?

Woah. That is a horrible, horrible rhyme.

The meter is completely off.
Agree'd. Your skirts too tight? Your back aches? Your booty..shakes from left to right?

Jesus, even ignoring the meter of this (and it's disgusting pedo-ness) it's horrid.

She shouldn't have been kicked out. Her mother should not allow her to cheer like that in the first place. It's fuckin' creepy.

What a bizarre cheer, definitely something I wouldn't want to see a 6 year chanting. I would complain as well if I saw something as ludicrous as that.

Umm..... yeah, just a little.

OT: I do find the cheer a little bit much for little girls but I think the cheer coach was in the wrong too, to suspend her from the team.
