Linkin Park (Biffy Clyro were supporting) - Amazing, I was twelve and sitting down but never the less. They even gave me a download of the whole gig. I now have it on my iPod and listen to it and remember it all sometimes. I don't remember much about Biffy Clyro, as I knew nothing of them. Now, however, I know and love them.

Fall Out Boy (You Me At Six, Boys like Girls supporting) - They were phenomenal, they did this thing during I Don't Care where the lights went out and the only thing that was giving light was their glowing white guitars. Boys Like Girls were great, but their singer was a cocky ****. Kept saying, in the most awfully annoying American accent I have ever heard, "Babaaaaaaaaayyyyyyy!". You Me At Six were great, and seeing them live got me into them.

Enter Shikari (The Devil Wears Prada supporting) - Fucking amazing. Went with a friend, my first standing gig and I thought it'd be shit. So. Totally. Wrong. Just... in every way, epic.
Devil Wears Prada were great, it's just live their metal all sounds pretty similiar. I started listening to them before that, though, and they're pretty damn good. I remember them saying at the end of their set "Jesus loves all'a you guys" and some other religious speech, and the whole crowd was like "...Uh, ok. Cool.". It was hilarious. No one directly laughed, but you could tell nobody was expecting a heavy metal band to praise Christianity at the end of one hectic set.

The Prodigy's Warrior's Dance Festival (Pendulum, Enter Shikari, Chase & Status, and Does It Offend You, Yeah? supporting) - If you've ever seen me post in a music thread, chances are I spoke of one of the bands I just mentioned. I love all of them, except C&S and the Prodigy, who I simply really, really like. Safe to say it was the greatest night of my life, on top of the music I got flirty with a 35-year-old woman and she enjoyed the feel of my arse, but unfortunately it didn't go further as we got lost and separated in the mosh pits. I was also hit pretty hard in the chest during ES, so that I vomited later, and got beaten in a dance-off to the Prodigy's set by a 6-year-old.

Enter Shikari (King Blues and some other band supporting, me and my friends decided against standing and waiting so we went to Wagamama's instead until ES came on) - Was pretty epic also. Not really much else to say here, other than I really want to see ES live again, shame they won't be playing most of next year.

I'm also gonna see Pendulum and Hadouken! in December with two friends. Raving will commence.
EDIT: Oooooh, 999th post!

Hawthorn Heights.
Bayside.
Emery
A Static Lullaby
Breaking Benjamin
Three Days Grace.
Nickelback.
Cobra Starship
Fall Out Boy.

And that's about it. The most recent was HH and BS, and they were pretty good (I only went cause it was free) and I saw BB, TDG and NB back three years ago so I can't truely remember it. I just remember the lead singers of BB and TDG did a duet of 'Breath' By Breaking Benjamin and it was bad ass.

My first ever concert was back when I was in elementary school and had no idea what music was.
[small]The Backstreet Boys[/small]

But whatever. Onto real business.

My first concert since then was B.B. King at a place called the Lowell Auditorium. It was absolutely brilliant. The dude, 80 years old at the time, could still play and sing like an absolute beast.

Next up, a great concert by Roger Waters. He played Dark Side of the Moon all the way through after intermission, and played a lot of great tunes I rarely heard (Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun comes to mind) and the popular ones obviously. But that concert was fun for a few other reasons. First off, there were these two potheads about 3 seats down from me who left at the intermission (to presumably get some nachos) but never came back. I know they probably thought the concert was over, but it entertains me to think that they got lost on their way back. Also, Roger got booed. He spoke out very strongly against Bush and claimed that he basically fucked up everything. Then I think he put up on the giant screen behind him something having to to with 9/11, coupled with the insults against Bush and the current American government. Of course he got booed.

Then, if I remember correctly, I saw Van Halen at their reunion with David Lee Roth at the Garden. Absolutely brilliant. Lazors, smoke, lights, crazy costumes and props, and all of the stuff that made the 70's and early 80's hilarious was present. Especially with Wolfgang on bass, putting on a great show there. Kid's a little bit older than me I think.

Then I saw B.B. again. At a little circular theater on Cape Cod. Dude was absolutely beastly at the blues again.

Next up, a nice combo concert between EWF and Chicago. Some arena in Boston. They played each others' songs. The singer for EWF could reach notes higher than my mom (who sings soprano) and they belted out some seriously funky grooves. Chicago came out and their trombone player melted my face. Unfortunately, the sound system wasn't rigged up as well as it could have been, and the horns weren't as loud as they should have been.

Much later, on Christmas Eve two years ago, I saw a concert by the Canadian Brass. Funny that they were arranged by age. The tuba player looked about 70, the piccolo trumpet guy looked about 21, the french horn player about late thirties, and everything in between. Surprisingly, they were absolutely hilarious. Great humor in their music and show. Awesome.

Last, but not least, this year, before Christmas, I saw the Boston Pops at the Lowell Auditorium. Certainly played some great tunes. I thought that Kieth was a bit to showman-y to be conducting an orchestra, but there you go.
