Are you sure it wasn't GHB you blacked out at?
Nope, it was GBH
You didn't get the joke, did you? :(
Fraid not.

γ-Hydroxybutyric acid (GHB) has been used in a medical setting as a general anesthetic, to treat conditions such as insomnia, clinical depression, narcolepsy, and alcoholism, and to improve athletic performance.[6] It is also used as an intoxicant (illegally in many jurisdictions) or as a date rape drug.[7]

Some people take it to get high, but generally, it's more often slipped in someone's drink because it causes blackouts and at higher doses, amnesia or death due to respiratory depression.

Hence, you blacked out during GHB.

Disturbed - My first ever concert though before the show the Drowning pool song - let the bodies hit the floor came on and the arena just kicked in without anyone on stage.

Muse - They where amazing!

Seasick Steve - Great fun

Nickelback - Really good live, blew me away

Lol, I'm reading down a page of metal than come across Steps and Busted. Why don't you remember much?
Indeed, I like to be different xD. Simple reason; I just don't have a very good memory of my childhood. I have no idea why though.
Repressing the memories perhaps?

I can't really list all the bands I've seen, it's a stupendous amount, but I have to say the best for me had to be:
In no particular order...
Iron Maiden (Sonisphere)
Metallica (2009, Birmingham)
ACDC (Download)

Followed by:
Korn (Download)
Machine Head (2010, Birmingham)

Those are definitely the best gigs I've been to.

Holy crap, we should just have a thread dedicated to Iron Maiden concerts people have been to. Because I'm pretty sure that I've seen about 20 different people post that they've seen them.

*dig dig* Hey, a festival thread. Just what I needed!

Recently I've been to my first music festival (15th October) and it was so great. Crazy people, lots of alcohol, stupid stuff and good music (although there was pretty weird music on the camping site (FYI, here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3iIMxes-7QA).

I've seen these bands:

Ektomorf (didn't know them before, but really like their music now)
Sodom (one of the main reasons why I went there)
Kalmah (also a good reason since that was their 4th concert in Germany, so theyre rare to see live around here)

I missed Korpiklaani because I got too drunk and went to sleep, but I'm sure I'll see them some day.

I'm going to see these bands soon/in 2011:

Finntroll
Heaven Shall Burn
Kreator
Apokalyptische Reiter
Equilibrium
Excrementory Grindfuckers

And maybe those, don't know anything about the time they'll be playing on the festivals:

Milking the Goatmachine
Kalmah (again)
Sodom (again)
Amon Amarth
Sabaton
We Butter The Bread With Butter

Those are only the bands I know I'll be seeing, the lineup of other festivals I will be going to isnt set yet.

Rush - every show since 1993... orgasmic every time!
Queensryche - Performed at a county fair about 15 years ago - had to buy tickets.
Marshal Tucker Band - performed at that same county fair... free admission.
Trans Siberian Orchestra - almost every show since 1998. One of the best "experiences" in terms of a concert.
Dream Theater - Saw them at a dreadfully painful 2004 concert. They try too hard when they perform live.
Dizzy Gillespie - mid 80's concert in NYC, the first I ever went to.

I'm not really a big music person, but my first concert was Weird Al Yanchovic when I was around twelve, and I've seen Billy Joel twice, in more recent years.
And then there's Trans Siberian Orchestra...
My family goes to see them every year for their Christmas show, but for the non-Christmas-celebrating escapists out there, let me recommend "Beethoven's Last Night." All of their shows have a story, and this one was about Beethoven versus the Devil. It involves classical music combined with rock and copious amounts of flame throwers and lazers. Behold.
It's not the best quality, and the fact that it's in video doesn't do the band justice, but it still gives a rough idea of the awesome.

Red Hot Chili Peppers - Anthony was sick at the time so was an average concert.

Disturbed - was pretty cool nothing special though, a chick stood in the stands and flashed her tits to everyone in general admission as we were leaving

The Living End - was cool

My Bloody Valentine - average

Arctic Monkeys - boring

Pendulum - Awesome midday concert in a packed 40,000 capacity stadium

The Datsuns - pretty cool

Cobra Khan - was pleasantly surprised

Neil Young - Awesome as expected

The Prodigy - Intense but the crap sound system was a let down, and the sweat that had condensed on the roof of the tent was dripping down

Subtract - was impressed but not my sort of music

The Who - well the surviving two, was an amazing concert.

Green Day - My favourite yet. Best live band I've seen. Next time I'm buying tickets to all the concerts they play in my city just to be able to see them 2 or 3 nights in a row.

EDIT: Serj Tankian - He was awesome. He chilled at my friends house for a BBQ too. I was out of town at the time :(

THAT would've been a blast.

I saw them towards the start of last year and was kinda disappointed with how they performed as well. Though singing along whilst cramped in with a bunch of other sweaty as anything fans was fun.

My List!

AC/DC - Watching a 65 year old man strip was worth every cent. Plus the 20 minute long guitar solo in "For Those About to Rock" was amazing.

Tame Impala - I just zoned out and felt the music take me. Great experience.

Wolfmother - Admittedly didn't think much of them. Judging by their music they should be great live, but just a bit of a letdown. Although I was impressed by their support act (Yves Klein Blue)

The Decemberists - The first time I had ever heard them. Live OR on CD. Colin Meloy is a great frontman.

Stray Cats - I saw this one with the old man. Tons of energy despite their age. They came back for about 3 or 4 encores.

Neil Young - One of the first performances I saw. Amazed at every moment by just how good he was.

James Morrison - Performed with the Black Dyke Brass Band. Gorgeous sound all night.

There are many more I've seen live, its just those are the acts that stick out for me.
