Live Concerts

Really only been to festivals, with c-list acts and bands no one cares about.

However, I'm finally going to my first, REAL concert in a couple of weeks. STS9 and Thievery Corporation at Red Rocks.(Legendary venue, btw)

Should be as ill as possible without being lethal. CANNOT WAIT!!!

I've seen probably 20+ bands and I'm only 14. Makes me happy. I see smaller bands though because that's what i'm into.
I've seen the Killers who are pretty big. They where damn good. Not my usual thing though.
I've seen The Blackout four times met them four times signed album and I adore them. Seeing them again November.
Then Young Guns x3(again November)
My Passion x2,
Madina Lake x3, Not my thing any more but it used to be.
Hollywood Undead, Just because they're fun.
erm... Silverstein,
Fightstar x2, Not my thing anymore.
Coheed and Cambria,
And I wont bore you with the rest.

EDIT: And small gigs, like 80 people small, are always so awesome.

I got to see Paul McCartney when he came to Halifax (SO AWESOME) and in October I'm gonna go see THE GORILLAZ PLASTIC BEACH LIVE!!! OMG I CAN'T WAIT!

Kittie (3 times and got to hang with them after a show once)
Soil (met them along with Kittie)

Silent Civilian (twice)
Suicide Silence

That's all I can remember. I know there have been more.

I have a friend who could probably fill up an entire forum page in and of itself. He's seen SOOOOOO many bands perform live.

there were multiple bands there, and the best were the smaller ones that came on in the afternoon. five finger death punch, rob zombie, korn, and another big band were there, but they weren't absolutely amazing. it was mayhem fest

Lights and Nightwish have been the only two.

Both of them were awesome, and memories that will stay with me until I die. ^_^

I love lights how was she live?
I've seen just over 40 bands live at 16, so I won't go through them all.
But Newton Faulkner or Bloc party was my favourite gig ever, and seeing Kele live was the most interesting after gig tale i have.

Alice Cooper:Hands down the best I've ever seen not that I've seen many, but it's just as much a concert as it is a stage show.

Rush:It was fun and humorous show


Blue Oyster Cult/Billy Squire: Thought it was a BOC concert,turns out they were just opening for Billy, they were okay but it wasn't there A-game, more like there B+ game. Billy squire milked the songs and was an arrogant prick.

Cheap Trick/Poison/Def Leopard: All were good, Cheap trick was great, there were a lot of drunks fighting on the lawns

Heh, Yeah I don't really listen to their studio stuff. Same with Young Guns. But I like them live. Some bands are just like that. But my music taste varies from Dizzee Rascal to the My Passion type of stuff. More the My Passion side though.

I have seen Metallica and Iron Maiden, and I will be seeing Rush and Nickelback (with Three Days Grace, most of the reason I would go).

Metallica was cool, but IM was better.

Rush-One of the best concerts I have ever been too

I saw them on their Time Machine Tour just a few days ago, Christ. That was the best God damn concert I have ever gone to as well.

Other then them though, I've seen Eric Clapton, Paul McCartney, Offspring, and Aerosmith, just to name the last few concerts I've been to.

She was great, and it was a really fun show to be at. Did every song off of The Listening, and two extra songs as an encore. (In The Air Tonight and February Air acoustic).

Blink 182-they were OK, I mostly remember banging a chick after the show.
Sonata Arctica-It was fucking awesome!
DrangonForce-........I walked out half-way through (it was terrible)
Rush-One of the best concerts I have ever been too
GBH-I blacked out
Iron Maiden-It was insanely epic (it was Rock in Rio 2003, a time to remember)
