Haha, I was at Knebworth not too long ago! I'm not a metal fan at all - I got dragged along and bitched and moaned along the way but I had a lot of fun. It's a small world.

Taste of Chaos Oslo 2009:
Maylene and the Sons of Disaster - Awesome!
Every Time I Die - Okay
Dead by April - Meh
Killswitch Engage - OH HELL YEAH! AWESOMENESS!
In Flames - Read the Killswitch one again.

The ones that I can remember and were not paraletic for:
Immortal - Cannot explain the epicness of them!
Mayhem - Very Poor
Tunyogi Rock Band - Amazing. One of the best.
Iron Maiden - It's maiden, what can you say!!!
AC/DC - funny and awesome
Saxon - Always cheesy and fun
Iced Earth - :D
Canibal Corpse - Brutal
Watain - Scary and awesome - had a shattered arm from the carnage
Destroyer 666 - Again amazing.
Napalm Death - Average
Inquisition - Rather boring I thought

There are more but I was too drunk to remember them and/or I cant be bothered to put more down.

Yeah, Snakes and Arrows tour. It kinda pissed me off when every asshole there, who had barely even heard of Rush stoof up for Tom Sawyer, so I sat down in protest. Also, they activated these smoke machines for "Train to Bangkok" so people could smoke weed, but I thought it would be incredibly rude even though I had some. I mean, you wouldn't smoke a cigarette there would you? It's exactly the same principal with weed. People deserve a smoke-free environment, regardless of the smoke being generated

Nightwish - It was with Annette. It was pretty good.
Delain - I just love the lead singer. We had eye sex. Several times. Hehe.
Cradle of Filth - ...meh.
Metallica - Fucking rocked.
Steel Panther - Just...love those guys. The strippers were excellent.
Blue Man Group (if it's classed as a concert) - In Vegas. They were fantastic.
Sonisphere 2010 - Lacuna Coil (seeing them in October, too! Meet and greet! EXCITED!!), Delain, Family Force 5 and Skindred were major highlights.

...I really need to go to more =D

Protest the Hero. Awesome because it wasn't a very big concert and the singer was very down to earth. he even took a break to smoke something someone had thrown up on the stage.

And there's probably more, but I can't remember right now.
Ah, Rody is a legend. There's a classic video of him on Youtube talking about Paramore, the drummer walks in half way through and just goes: "man, I'm stoned" before walking out again. Also they're a fuckin' incredible band so you're a lucky dog to have seen them live.

I have seen quite a lot of bands live, the best one being Bloc Party at Bournemouth. A combonation of it being the last concert in the tour, Halloween and a homecoming concert meant that the crowd and the band were completely mad. Seeing Muse at Wembley in september though which I have a feeling will beat Bloc Party.

Seen hundreds, nearly every classic act you can mention, so to be short and precise:

The best live act touring today is Skindred. End of.

Most of the concerts I've been to were in the space of a weekend at the Ynot festival, but all of them were fucking awesome.

What I can remember (I was blitzed out of my head the entire weekend): The Futureheads, the crowd was so mental, I was thrown around like a ragdoll, but it was the funnest concert of my life.

Los Campesinos, bit more chilled, but still very enjoyable.

King Blues, immense, pure immense.

BrokenCYDE, don't really like that sort of music, but great to dance too.

Daisy Dares You, Blood Red Shoes, Kid British, quite generic, but loved it at the time, they're very good live, all of them.

OkGo, the entire crowd were waiting for that one song. You know which one. But when it got to it, it was AMAZING.

Darwin Deez. So, so beautiful. And japey. So genius.

Probably a lot more, but it's safe to say Ynot was the best 3 days of my entire life.

Saw Paul McCartney at Hard Rock Calling in London a few months ago - genuinely incredible. Singing along to the chorus of Hey Jude with 50,000 people was one of those "moments" that I'm gonna remember forever...

Iron Maiden
The Pixies
Queens of the Stoneage
Foo Fighters
Kings of Leon
Marilyn Manson(good fun, but waiting for costume changes is a bit...)
Iggy and the Stooges
NOFX
The Subways - recordings don't resonate with me but they were great live.
Nine Black Alps - same.
Incubus
CKY
Tim Minchin

Seen more than I care to remember, these were the stand outs.

Coldplay, September '09 best gig i've been to by far.
Muse, twice in august '08 and november '09, not including festivals. They're great and all live, but they don't interact at all.
Paramore, December '09 who were great, particularly cos i got in 10 minutes after they took the stage having just bought a ticket for half price and running down the Quays when i found out they weren't sold out.
Kasabian, who supported Muse in '08 and by god can they get a crowd going.
Elbow and White Lies, supported Coldplay in '09, White Lies were far better than Elbow, who came across as drunk..
I also went to Oxegen '10 last month, and by god i won't forget that fast. Highlights include:
Yeasayer
Republic of Loose
Two Door Cinema Club
Mumford and Sons
ARCADE FIRE - Who i'm definitely seeing when tehy come back in december, they were amazing.

I go to concerts quiet often, but the 2 that stand out the most are:

Gogol Bordello: They were amazing, but they played my favorite songs right in the beginning of the show and then played stuff from their new album, which I'm not to keen on. Plus the opening act sucks and this dude I was next to named Cloud was already drunk and grinding his girlfriend. Still, Gogol was amazing.

We Are The Union: When I first saw them, I never had heard of them, and now they're one of my favorite bands. It was Literally a life changing show. Plus this really cute "scene" chick convinced me to take off my pants in the road after the show. She gave me her number, but, for some reason, I never called her.

Well this year I went to Sonisphere & Bloodstock so I saw quite a few live bands as well as stand up acts. Heres what i've seen, I'll put it in spoilers:
Turisas
Evile
Soulfly
Fear Factory
Anthrax
Sick of it All
Rammstein
A bit of Apocalyptica
CKY
The Fab Beatles
Skindred
Slayer
Pendulum
Iron Maiden
Rollins Spoken Word
Jarred Christmas
Tim Minchin
Andrew O'Neill
Brian Posehn
Jim Jefferies

All of which were fucking awesome, I didnt see Alice Cooper on the Friday because of when I got there there was no real space and some fuckers nearly pushed me over people in wheel chairs so I figured it wasn't worth the hassle...which is a shame because I wanted to see him. So instead me and 2 of my mates decided to go around after the Alice cooper gig asking people if they wanted to touch a 10 inch cock...my friend went to TK Max before we headed off to Sonisphere and got a door stop that was a rooster...yeah we're funny fuckers when we're drunk >.>

Ross the Booss
Ensiferum
Meshuggah
Evile
Onslaught
Devin Townsend Project
Fear Factory
A bit of Children of Bodom
Suffocation
Hekz
Korpiklaani
A bit of GWAR
Last bit of Bloodbath
Last bit of Cannibal Corpse
Twisted Sister

I've been to quite a few other gigs but i figured i'd mention the recent ones.

Mmm, Pot Noodles... they definitely helped me through the weekend.

I'm definitely a bigger fan of Europe now.
They did pretty good covers of No Woman, No Cry and Heaven & Hell.
If I never see a pot noodle again it will be too soon...

And I really wanted to see them play the final countdown D:

But I got carried away in a mosh pit at Turisas...

Still at least the Blaas of Glory were back :D
The Turisas pit was awesome...part moshing part jigging, it was great stuff.

How could ya give Anthrax a :| !? That is madness! :p but overall I agree with the :]'s though

Nice on the Bowling for Soup, I really wanna see them again. I saw them at Download a few years back and I was laughing my ass off. Motorhead I should be going to see...hopefully anyway.

What bands have you seen live, and describe the concert.

DragonForce-........I walked out half-way through (it was terrible)
Iron Maiden-It was insanely epic (it was Rock in Rio 2003, a time to remember)
Saw maiden at sonisphere this year. Fuckin awesome as ever. I was 2 people from the front and i got crushed tho. Dragonforce really do suck. They cant actually play anything like their recordings so instead they play shite riffs over the top a track.
Sonisphere was really my first big thing... rammstein, slayer, anthrax, corey taylor, rise to remain and sylosis were the highlights for me. Wall of death to rise to remain was particularly fun :D.
Ooh tim minchin was good though but i could only see the top of his head most of the time.

Going to reading this year too, but the line up is looking... poor. Compared to maiden, rammstein and slayer... just no.
