Pokemon Ruby. Rayquaza. I don't know why, be he just decided he did NOT want to come with me on my most recent playthrough. Atleast fifteen atempts before I finally pegged him.
They would be Pandemonium Warden, which pre nerf took over 18 hours and still wasn't dead, by which point the players fighting it had begun fainting and vomiting due to extended play.bleachigo10 said:Wasn't there some boss in Final Fantasy 11 that took 24 hours to defeat? Anyway, the Archdemon in Dragon Age Origins always took a lot of time for me to defeat. What with him flying around making me have to shoot him with the ballista which took forever.
How the hell did you beat that monstrosity THAT fast?! I had the best gear and weapons (aside from the ultimate, which you make from a drop off that thing), max health for everyone, and an optimal command list, and it still took me almost 5 hours (not including time to flee the area to rest up if things were looking bad) to take it down.GundamSentinel said:FFXII's Yiazmat with its 50 million HP will inevitably take some time. Well, it's a bonus boss, so attempting it is only proof of masochism. Also, ninja'd.Ascarus said:that is just fucking retarded. so glad i bailed on this series years ago.GundamSentinel said:FFXII's Yiazmat with its 50 million HP will inevitably take some time. I usually clock in at about 2 hours.
This is why I always played the Prime games with the scan visor on most of the time. I haven't played Hunters but switching back to shooting can't be that hard.Scrubiii said:The secret to defeating the boss at the end of Metroid Prime: Hunters was hidden in a collection of invisible messages scattered at random locations throughout the game. These messages are only visible while you are looking directly at them with the scan visor. While you are using the scan visor, you cannot shoot.
Due to this, I missed the vast majority of these messages and once I reached the final boss it took me a very long time to work out what the fuck I was supposed to be doing. And I mean a very long time.
