I would drive in and do a backflip and jump off my motorbike and the motor bike would take out the caterpillar in front of me. Then I would smile.

I would build an obvious trap with knives going through a 2x4 set up with pressure traps. This would force him to either go in the bust street and get hit by a car or go down the dark alley.
If he goes in the street my black ops team is in position to inform him I dislike him and want him dead.
If he tries to go back the way he came he will find I have ordered the whole city firebombed except for the small area we are in.
If he goes in the alley I will unleash shadow monsters and shadow poison.
If he quickly evolves into a Butterfree after so many games where I never let him evolve I will have a butterfly net ready.
Every option covered it is up to him how he wants to die.

I could not bring myself to harm a caterpillar. They are fuzzy. Fuzzy things that are nice and harmless do not deserve to be squished by me.
