Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines.
It's in first/third-person mode, highly intriquing, exceptionally well written plots and dialogue, funny as hell at times and immersive. Also has replayability value since the different bloodlines you build your character around are highly varied. YOu don't get exp for killing enemies, but completing missions and objectives. Killing two dozen guards around your objective is not required and is sometimes outright discouraged. There are always at least three ways to do things, each way requiring different skills.
Just a hint if you go trought with the Bloodlines: don't play as a Malkavian the first time. While the conversations are fun non-sequiturs most of the time, they can also be somewhat hard to follow. And the Malkavian insights are somewhat spoilers within the game, but that is one of the main strenghts of that Clan. It simply reduces plot intrique if you're a Malkavian on the first playtrough.
Planetvampire says this about malkavians:
Merits: Due to their unique 'insights' the Malkavians get a +2 bonus to their Inspection feat and the voices they hear will sometimes give them helpful clues.
Flaws: They're completely mad. Of course, madness is a subjective thing. Those afflicted with it might regard it as a gift more so than a malady. The forms that the madness takes run the gamut of known archetypes - from the loony prankster to the tripped out conspiracy nut to the stoic but sadistic psychopath who might seem outwardly normal and not reveal the extent to which insanity rages within him. Their dialog is always bizarre and sometimes entirely incomprehensible. The voices aren't always right, or even telling the truth.
And they are right about voices. Oh boy are they right. Highly discerning to be in a dialogue with a female vampire, discuss about their past, hear their childhood is off-limits as a topic and then hear a child sobbing and begging for mercy from your speakers even as the conversation carries on...
