LucasArts Admits Star Wars Fans Have Been "Forgiving"

Dude its Star Wars, people will buy it if it spits shit out of its mouth, like with 40% of those games (that fighting game, the Gungan strategy game, etc)

Another 60% are ok, mostly worth a rental (Empire at War, Force Unleashed)

And a nice 10% that are genuinely great games (Rogue Squadron, KOTOR, Podracer)

I wouldn't be pleased unless I got Republic Commando II, Battlefront III, KOTOR III, and a copy of KOTOR II that works on one of the THREE computers I have tried it on.

i wasnt forgiving. shit heads blew the whole concept, killed it spit on it then burn it then threw the ashes to a ditch somewhere no one knows. now theyre trying revive the shit. dont get me wrong i loved the force unleashed and im pretty sure ill love the force unleashed 2 but its just not seem canonical to me anymore.. AND i need Republic Commando 2 right now!

Bring back the Jedi Knight series.

This. Please, really. Don't you noticed that these are the best jedi games ever? I really feel like a freaking jedi, with all those tricks and options. And I loved the jumping.

I fundamentally dislike Star Wars Force Unleashed because you are not hitting the enemies with a jedi lightsaber, you are hitting them with a baseball bat shaped like a jedi lightsaber.
If you were hitting them with a lightsaber, they would just be dismembered or killed like in the jedi knight series. It´s a lightsaber darn! It can cut trough metal! Why do the bounce or even survive a hit with a lightsaber!?

Ok, i needed to get that out of my system.

I too, will not be happy until I can play as Kyle Katarn again. Jedi Outcast just...clicked. It was exactly the experience I had imagined of being a Jedi.

Why oh why couldn't Lucas entertain himself counting money instead of bastardazing the SW universe?.

"Forgiving" is quite the understatement. I still can't fathom why anyone would give LucasArts a pass for all of their frankly shitty games (Ugh, Empire at War) when they are sitting on such a GOLDMINE of beloved franchises everyone would sell their grandmas to see revived.

Where's the Jedi Knights? The KoTORs? The Republic Commandoes? The X-Wing vs Tie Fighters? Oh wait, they're not making any more of those because they could sell a turd in a box so long as they slap a Star Wars label on it, and have been doing for the last ten years.

I am not forgiving, SWU was a cheap action game and the prequels still suck, hell the only thing worth while from Lucas in the past few years is maybe the clone war adventures cartoon show?

I bought some DLC for Force Unleashed 2, but due to a bug I couldn't play it. I was told I would have to start a new save to use the content. To my knowledge, the dev team still has not released a patch for this. So I am going to pass. Sigh.

You think thats bad the menus in the PC version are keyboard/game pad only, they didnt bother to to add mouse GUI support even if the game supports mouse...its almost as bad the RE4 port...but they finally added full mouse support for it 0-o

Well, I've tried to avoid anything that I felt might sully the saga. However, Jar Jar Binks was unavoidable... Can't wait til FU2 though, looks great.

They need a better acronym for Force Unleashed. The game is is much better than Star Wars: FU would lead you to believe.
