Mafia2 is a bad game, there are Italian mobsters, therefore it is racist!
Oh,Irish mobster too? No,we don't care about those,it's only racist when the group of people we belong to is concerned.
Germans don't complain when German soldiers are killed in WW2 video games? It's different.

Man,I do love making up conversation with people like that.

I don't see Germans complaining about WW2 games, or the Chinese complaining about crime sandbox games in general in the past 5 years or so. What makes fucking Italians so fucking entitled to "no games that have Italian stereotype" law.
I agree, if this stupidity actually catches, then next time we see a viking in a game maybe Norway, Sweden and Finnland will sue because that is an unfair stereotype.

I love how in that picture the two guys on the right have completely failed to notice a truly awful spelling mistake in their little placards: "End Anti-Italiansim"?! Ism, people. ISM.

The italians don't have a leg to stand on: set within a historical context, asking the publisher to remove all references to italy in the game would be like asking the someone to remove the Nazis out of Wolfenstein. You can't pretend the whole italian mafia thing didn't happen

I hate to break it to them but breaking up a launch party. Is the least of Take 2's concerns. All they care about is raking in money. They'll have another party later.

I haven't played mafia 1, I don't even like the 50's, but I'm gonna buy this game because these assholes have a problem with it.

Of course, it also helps that the game is supposed to be fantastic.

When I see proof that Italian immigrants weren't in the Mafia, I'll take their side, but you can't deny history. Heck, Al Capone himself was born to Italian Immigrants. It's not racist, it's Historical Accuracy.

Besides, crashing a party is hardly what I would call, a success.

As a (part)-Italian American myself, I must congratulate the protesters on proving what whiny twats they are! It bloody happened, what do you expect? I think it's cool that the game gives homage to that time period and its culture for America in general. I would rather see an even somewhat accurate representation of Italian immigrants in organized crime facing the riches and consequences of their actions than see Super Mario screaming "MAMA MIA!!!" while eating a pizza.

Find something legitimate to complain about, like Jersey Shore for instance! :p

Where the fuck were these guys when the Sopranos was still on the air!? You know, that show that eventually had an old Mafia don making goddamn spaghetti and meatballs IN PRISON!

These douchebags can shove their own protest signs up their collective asses. People like them don't deserve to be in the same gene pool as the more level headed humans among us.

Protesters are so cute. They really think they can achieve things by shouting and waving placards.

I'll never forget a protest I saw here in Brisbane a few years ago. A bunch of people shouting, being led by some twat with a megaphone no less - 'What do we want?' 'PEACE' 'When do we want it?' 'NOW'. I shit you not. Apart from being the most trite chant ever, the irony was delicious.

I could only think to myself 'Me too, brothers. Me too.'
