Pure green. I don't play competitively and pretty much only in a small group of friends so my deck strategy is not so clever.

Personally I used to use a wubrg/devour deck with a phoenix or two thrown in because I like em, but it kept getting stomped because... well, I suck with a wubrg deck :p Switched over to a Red/Blue deck, Get some fierce spell enhancing creatures out while blocking and redirecting whatever spells the other player casts, then use the boosts to deal ridiculous damage with a well placed lava axe. Haven't had anyone to test it against though, and because of this thread, I feel woefully unskilled...

My favorite Magic: The Gathering color really just depends on my mood. Though my best deck to date was a green/white deck, which allowed me to summon ridiculous amounts of creatures. I once managed to get six creatures out on the field of battle in my first turn, though I don't remember how I did that.

After unleashing giant flying whalesharks that fire lazors (an 8/8 (or bigger! Yes, I used a parenthesis within a parenthesis) flying monstrosity that you can cast for 2 blue mana) from their mouths, I really love Blue. But I'm impartial to black and red. I loathe green because at the time I was active it was the only color that really proved to be a pain.

EDIT:
I'd really love this thread to go on, so for describing colors, use WUBRG (White Red Black Blue Green) when describing cards.

As for infinite creatures, you can use this combo from Mirrodin: Have a Triskelion and Genesis Chamber out. Equip Triskelion with a Scythe of the Wretched and have it shoot itself dead. Triskelion dies, goes back into play and you get a 1/1 artifact creature token. Repeat ad infinitum. Toss in a Krark Clan Ironworks (infinite colorless mana) and a Goblin Rocket Launcher (infinite damage. Your infinite mana should go towards something, right?) for the lulz.

Also, for newbies out there, here's a test: Explain the what happens if you Animate Dead a Worldgorger Dragon. The answer provides a good look into how the stack works.

When I played, back in the Ravnica days, my best deck was easily my black/white deck essentially built from a combination of two Code of the Orzhov pre-built decks, with a few other surprises thrown in. The idea was essentially to slow the opponent's deck to a halt and slowly whittle them away while they sit there helpless. The ultimate in deck torture. It did pretty damn well in one-on-one matches, but wasn't very good in multiplayer.

My best multiplayer deck was a white/blue bird-soldier deck built basically to be a white weenie deck of bird tokens.
1) Build up an army of birds for strength in numbers
2) Use cards such as Deluge to wash away the oppenents' anti-air defenses.
3) ???
4) Profit!

As far as my most creative idea/favorite deck to use, that would have to be my all-blue Pirate deck. Every card was related to pirates and/or the high seas, and it even had a strategy that reflected piracy: steal the opponent's stuff or simply prevent it from being played. Effectively, it was a control deck, but control through thievery. Didn't get the chance to test it out much. Its greatest challenge was playing against another all-blue control deck, and we ended up passing the same creature back and forth to each other. The match ended up a stalemate, as we just got tired of passing the same card back and forth.

Every colour, I have three decks and none of them repeat colours (Blue/White control, Black/Green infect and Mono-Red uber-agro.) and all of them work pretty well. If pressed I'd pick Blue/White for counters, angels and library burning spells like Jace's Erasure [http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?multiverseid=205043] and Traumatize. I have a few decks I'm using:

1) First and foremost, my black/red Hellbent deck based around the Rakdos Guild from the Dominion block, which was released about five years ago. It specialises in getting a large number of creatures, instants and enchantments out quickly, emptying my hand in the process to give some of my creatures additional bonuses.

2) The Angry Kittehs[footnote]It's spelled that way for a reason, not because I don't know how to use the word 'kitty'.[/footnote]: mono-white from Scars of Mirrodin and Mirrodin Besieged. White Sun's Zenith allows me to put a large number of 2/2 Cats into play, plus I have things like Titan Forge and Kemba, Kha Regent to back those up. Also, I can regularly metalcraft due to the number of artifacts I can play with low mana costs. Some of those are equipments to allow Kemba to produce more kittehs.

3) Just completed a mono-red burning deck. It's not pure burn, though, I do have a few creatures that hang around for more than one turn. Still, they all gain bonuses through Landfall or casting an instant or sorcery.

4) Mono-black, not exactly sure what the win condition is. Still, I have a few good rares in there from multiple sets. Drana, Kalastria Bloodchief, Carnifex Demon and Phyrexian Crusader spring to mind.

I've also got a Sword of Feast and Famine somewhere, not sure where to put it. I'll probably put it in with the Angry Kittehs.

http://www.wizards.com/Magic/Digital/DuelsOfThePlanesWalkers.aspx?x=mtg/digital/dotp/decks/and/unlocks#liliana
link to card list.

its a pity that i do not have connections or information about local players in my city since few years back they closed only shop that was specialized on cardgames, manga and warhammer thingies.

id really really love to play since im a total fan of any kind of card games and cards overall
for example i own 6 decks of different tarot cards, over 20 different kinds of basic playing cards, huge collection of old pokemon cards, some wow tcg... tho its a shame that i grew intrest on MTG this late so i have no place to get any cards here anymore

I make any colour deck really but it always ends up using the Green strategy: Big creatures quickly. My most recent (And best) deck, the one I currently play with, is a Red/Green Eldrazi deck specifically made so that depending on which cards I draw, it can be a "SUMMON THE ELDRAZI! MUHAHA SMASHY TIME!" deck or a swarm of 2/2's thanks to Broodwarden.

Of course, having 2 Eldrazi Conscriptions helps.

Whic is your color in Magic: The Gathering? You don't have to choose only one, you can state your favorite combo. But you have to give a reason why. None of this, "I like red cuz fire lol" crap.
Green/ Black with a sprinkle of colorless (artifacts). I love me some Nath of the Gilt-Leaf :) Discard and token generation FTW! Also...the new Glissa the Traitor is one mean lady: firststrike, deathtouch AND artifact recurrence.

Well I think I've missed three expansions since I last played but my favourite decks were a custom built mono-green and mono-black vampire deck. Both of them are pretty good at destroying people quickly with lucky draws.

My black deck has a couple Blood Tributes in there for near misses. And to make other people nerd rage.

My green deck consists primarily of mana generators, Howl of the Night Pack, Overrun and Beastmaster Ascension along with some other creatures and spells ofc. It takes some setting up and luck but oh how sweet it is to play.

Black/Red/White. It's a tri-color that only exists in three cards, all of which I hate. But, a deck where I can have Bitterblossom, Path to Exile, Kazandu Blademaster, Lightning Bolt, Blightning, Lightning Helix, Sign in Blood, etc. is a winner. I hope they make an enemy tricolor themed block sometime soon.

..That.. is seriously without a doubt the most overpowered card I have ever came across. That right there would dominate and I give you Congrats for having such a unique card! *Impressed* Oh and your other card

Even though I say the first card is literally my #1 of dominator, this card above is also very powerful and I would really not want to take you on with such a deck with the like of these cards.. Haha.

I love red, especially the awesome bolts it has. Destroying all opposing forces the second the come to play and defeating the opponent all on your own without any creatures is a lot of fun.

White is also cool. I have a cat/equipment deck somewhere. I can't have huge armies with it, but I can build my few creatures into real monsters that will bash their way through any defense :p I also like the look of white creatures the most.

When I play, which is rare these days, I play with a black or black/blue deck, I love the slow creeping damage black builds up, I throw blue in there to annoy people with cancelling their summons and casting. Blue is the one deck I have problems against when I play, so I've learnt to play with it so I can counter a Blue player.
