Black Vampire deck steal the enemies creatures or sacrifice them.
White Kor/equipish deck buffing a fine amount of Kors with my Armament Master.
Green Elf deck lots of elves buffed with trample and stuff.
Blue/red Metalcraft deck somewhat.
White/Red Battlecry deck buffing on attack, and gains first-strike.
Black/Green -counter/infect deck for the laughs.

Playing Red & Black for tournaments, enjoying destroying creatures, attacking people, and infecting them (seriously, infect is soooooo useful). Proliferate is a fantastic ability.

Main Red & Green Big creatures and even stronger enchants, only downside is that its hard to play because of mana loss :p

Secondary is a blue artifact deck.

My brother, he has a Honden deck. What he does is, using the Honden of Life's Web, he builds a massive army of tokens.... then Devouring Greed. It's ability: Sacrifice X tokens, and target player takes X times 2 damage and you gain that much life. Holy crap, it's painful.

Oh? If I may ask what does that mean? If it means what I think it is, then I am going to admit I am not a pro nor even use to Magic yet. It's fun for me ether way and I clearly want to get better at it! :) Just.. I never seen cards like those. It's epic in my opinion.
It's one of the three types of MtG players according to Wizards of the Coast: http://www.wizards.com/Magic/Magazine/Article.aspx?x=mtgcom/daily/mr220b

Oh, god. Oh god. Oh my fucking GOD. That pretty much a game-win right there.
"Hey, you?"
"Yeah?"
"You know those uber-powerful, ridiculously expensive Eldrazi"?
"...yes."
"I don't have the mana for him."
"Oh, well, thank go-"

White. Bet you never saw that one coming.

In the days I played it just had some of my favorite cards and combos. Sacred Mesa, Testament of Faith, Celestial Convergence, Decree of Justice (basically you summon an angel army or an army of weaker soldiers for less mana) and just angels of all sorts were my bread and butter.

It makes me feel old to think that there's probably been more expansions released since I gave it up than there were when I quit (2006). Every serious deck I see now is constitutionally required to be a one or two-turn kill and IMO it takes a lot of the fun out of the game when only the rich folks can afford to put together the combos and mana 'accelerators' necessary for that. Granted, I did use the 'Mesacraft' infinite combo until it was banned.

My main deck is a black/green infect deck. I know you guys are probably sick of seeing that, but it's so overpowered that I can't not do it. The way I'm building it right now (with the help of a friend) is to use groundswell and giant growth with this one equipment that I forgot the name of that has the creature it's equipped to do 2 damage every time it's the target of a spell... and gives it +2/+0 so I just equip it to a Plague Stinger and if all goes well my Plague Stinger turns out to be a 10/8 flier with infect... plus, with the damage I did to you while targeting him, there's no way to stop him. If I'm lucky, I can do that in four turns. And if not, I've still got good ol' Putrefax to deal 5 poison counters in one turn, but that's a last resort. Oh yeah, and there's Hand of the Praetors which gives other creatures I control with infect +1/+1 and gives a poison counter to an opponent whenever I play another creature with infect... look, there's pretty much no way to stop me. Even if you're playing red, I've got giant growths and vines of vastwood as well. And as for your creatures, there's that card that can give your creature -1/-1 and if it dies you get a poison counter. And at very worst, I'll pull out Phyrexian Crusader and gain protection from red and white and it's black so that means no lightning bolt, no doom blade, and no preventing damage or pacifism. And it's got first strike which, since it's infect, will affect your power as well as your toughness and it will do it before you even get a chance to damage me. The only way you could kill him is if you have at least a 4/3 green, black, or blue creature and if you do, I've still got my giant growths and doom blades.

Holy crap I went on rambling far too long. As you can tell, I'm a bit obsessed right now. I've only recently started playing in December, but I love it.

My personal favorite deck that isn't great but it is nice is my life gain/damage prevention deck. I'm talking about Soul Warden/Soul's Attendant + Ajani's Mantra + Ajani Goldmane + Ajani's Pridemates + Armored Ascension = Win. Then there's Serra Ascendant + Armored Ascension. +1/+1 for every plains I control and it has lifelink. And if I have more than 30 life, it gets +5/+5. So it's dealing about 10 damage every turn and it's flying and I gain life every time it attacks. And there's always Mirran Crusader to counter infect if I need to. It's not a type two deck so I can't use it in tournaments, but for casual play it's a lot of fun, even if it takes forever to actually get going.

My next idea was to make an infect/aura deck. Just put some aura gnarlids and give them infect with that one card that gives creatures infect. Some vines with a ton of auras spread across the board and then I'm hitting you with 10 infect counters and he can't be blocked. Just a thought right now, but my actual aura deck works pretty well when it's done right so I could give it a shot.

Though I do keep loosing to my boyfriend, monoblack Knight/Vampire themed deck. Which is, to be fair, fucking brutal.

Red/Green, Red/Green/Black, Red/Green/White. As you can tell, i'm partial to any combo that includes red/green.

I don't much care for colors, I care about cards that work well together or off-beat tribes (I run Trolls and Rats) and combo's (Red/Blue infinite pinger). I like the flavour of Red best but find I can't play the kind of decks I like with it.

Lately I've been using EDH or Commander decks most because they create the most interesting games. Phelddagriff (beating people with a flying purple hippo is fun), Hidetsugu (+ Furnace of Rath + Glacial Chasm = poof) and Bosh, Iron Golem (deck still lacks loads of important cards) are my current Generals.

The Trolls and Rats are my pride and joy though. Both tribes can cause far more trouble than most people realize at first glance. Catching people with a Chittering Rat empty hand lock is possibly one of the most annoying things that can happen to you, especially because the deck is not specifically built for it so people aren't looking for combo's and then they suddenly get locked out of the game.

I'm still looking into a deck that will remove the opponent's library from the game entirely (they call it exile these days). Circu, Scrib Nibbler, Lobotomy, Sadistic Sacrament, Shimian Specter, Quash, Counterbore, Eradicate, Dissipate, Extirpate and Grimoire Thief should be able to make a good base but I'm trying to figure out how to get the pieces together on a decent time-table.

Blue! No... Black!
I take both and a little bit of red.
But most of the time I play with some decks that follow a specific theme rather than a colour, I'm more of a tinkerer. I love deckbuilding and only having competitive gets boring after a while. I also like the challenge to build a working deck around a specific card or cardtype, especially if it is called weak or worthless.

To give a few examples:
Assassin-Deck (B, only creature type assassin and every other card must fit the theme)
Sliver-Deck (WUBRG)
Wall-Deck (UW)
Blue-Combo Scars of Mirrodin only (soliton+heavy arbalest)
Nicol Bolas (BUR) just because I got my hands on the "From the Vault" Nicol Bolas and also the planeswalker, no other creature or planeswalker but works surprising good, even against more competitive oriented decks

On the other side my Infect-Aggro-Deck (BU) and my UR-Aggro-Deck (both of them have average CMC around 2 and 1)

Depends on how I'm feeling at the moment. I currently have a blue/white blightsteel infect deck, a blue/black tezzeret (the new one) artifact deck, a green/white landfall deck, mono red deck wins, a green/black eldrazi deck, mono white equipment deck, mono black vampires, a blue/black mill, a green/black infect, and a blue/black/white proliferation planeswalker deck. So I guess I'm partial to blue.

I make any colour deck really but it always ends up using the Green strategy: Big creatures quickly. My most recent (And best) deck, the one I currently play with, is a Red/Green Eldrazi deck specifically made so that depending on which cards I draw, it can be a "SUMMON THE ELDRAZI! MUHAHA SMASHY TIME!" deck or a swarm of 2/2's thanks to Broodwarden.

Of course, having 2 Eldrazi Conscriptions helps.
There are still ways around Eldrazi, like killing you really quickly or just putting in some removal with the addition of leyline of anticipation. Boom Day of Judgement, Damnation, Journey to Nowhere etc.

I play all different colours and colour combinations. yes, including 4 and 5 colour decks.

Preference? Depends on the deck. I have a fun G/R token deck, which has a few win cons, including chucking the tokens for direct damage. I also have a great U/R (that's blue/red for those not in the know) deck that uses creatures that get power bonuses when you play spells. So I pump the critter with a pump spell, they got an extra boost, I burn spell a blocker out the way, they get an extra boost, etc etc. Also means cause I'm going high levels of instants I can pack some counterspells to. Great fun.

Red, I love hyper agressive decks and bolting stuff never gets old, my only regret is that a proper sligh deck is always stupidly expensive.

In the current standard Im running an old fashioned mono green rush deck, tonnes of ramp, tokens and some army-wide buffs like Stampede- I do ok but im looking at Kuldotha Red with hunger.

I only played the xbox live arcade game and I prefer yu-gi-oh but I will go with green because I like using a mixture of brute force and large numbers.

It means you use obscenely large and (actually underpowered cards) that aren't really worth it. Fifteen mana for a fifteen fifteen will certainly win you the game, but I'd rather take a playset of http://magiccards.info/query?q=Wild+Nacatl&v=card&s=cname with some http://magiccards.info/query?q=Stomping+Ground&v=card&s=cname http://magiccards.info/query?q=Temple+Garden&v=card&s=cname. And then, I'd like a way to ensure I can get these lands http://magiccards.info/query?q=Misty+Rainforest&v=card&s=cname http://magiccards.info/zen/en/211.html http://magiccards.info/zen/en/219.html so I have my bonus.
